4:20 My own tips on how to improve tolerance to stress - Prayer (Salah) - Consistently timed sleep, & no blue light or intense activity right before bed - Long exhales compared to inhales; breathing which is nasal & diaphragmatic - Facial massages - Engagement w loved ones - Lemon balm tea - Beef gelatin drink - Chamomile tea
I study 13 hours a day during exams and that made me so exhausted that I couldn't write properly and made silly mistake even when I know I was good at that subject I couldn't score more then 82% . This helped me so much
as someone that hates math, and never studied for math once while getting an A, (41/50) watching this video actually made me realize how shocking it is the fact that I didn't study. But when I look back through it if it was possible, I did study all along, I just didn't realize it. It's the fact that I had a math tuition for 30 minutes a week, that was how I achieved getting something I never thought I would. (Getting A) It's the fact that it slowly came into my brain without me noticing. So, if your reading this, understand this : TUITION > STUDYING BY YOUR OWN. (edit : this video is actually very helpful too, ty!!)
I agree with this! I realized studying 30 minutes is good for my focus but it doesnt cover the whole study material. So I take short breaks then study 30 minutes, take a break and repeat until I finish. The problem is I dont know how many 30 minute sessions I need to study
I’ll update my information on videos bc that seems very fair and I recommend going till u find that u lose focus before thirty minutes and move on for the day
this fhit to hardl as all the time we are constantly told that studying more = good grades but in quality exams studying efficiently is much more needed
I also noticed that, in my AP (its like history but for Philippines) and my Math. I was making a goal to have a perfect score in my Math exam, I got 8 mistakes. But as for AP which I studied for like less than an hour, I got 6 mistakes. It doesn't look like much but I despise AP, and I love Math. So I was so stressed out about the perfect... So this technique might actually work! Thanks man!
THIS IS SO GOOD, THANK YOU. I realized I probably shouldn't pressure myself too much into getting 95 and above only because I would be stressed before and after exams 😭.
My second comment, whatever, That science thing worked cause of the stress, If you get too much stress from not having studied 1 day before the exam, you won't be able to study but with the exact amount of stress you need, you enter your "flow state" and in that state, you CANNOT get distracted or procrastinate because your conscious and sub-conscious mind know that you have the exam tomorrow, Now obviously don't start studying 1 day before for every exam, but revising 1 day before all day works for me.

Thank you so much for thiss😭😭 I really wanted an A by the end of year 12 since im keen on taking medicine. This is so true. It's currently 8:57pm and earlier from my school, we had a history long test/quiz. Earlier, I kept studying and studying because I accidentally slept the whole night last night, so I kept on studying from waking up to morning to recess, only to fail. As soon as I looked at the test paper, I immediately forgot almost everything and mixed every single person up. "Who created ...?" I literally forgot, and those people from some BCE history, I mixed them all up and I completely forgot who created civilization after civilization. On the other hand, yesterday we had a filipino long test/quiz, I didn't worry about it much, I thought that it was easy because all I did was remember the keywords, understand them even just a little, and put those meanings and what they are into my mind, and that's it. I didn't even study at all, I was like "Nah that one's gonna be easy.", I wasn't very confident about that test, and I had no expectations of failing nor perfecting, I didn't think much about it. As soon as I heard the questions, as soon as I saw them, ALL of those things were just in front of my mind, it was like I was so so so so ready, and I DIDN'T even study. I forgot if I studied or not, but definitely I was sure I didn't and I was focusing on other subjects other than the filipino subject, my mind was off the filipino subject and I DON'T KNOW HOW I knew I got 90% of them correct, I still haven't gotten the results yet. Hell-week is near, I got exams next week and it's currently friday, so wish me luck.
