    Also really great if your don’t have the strength to do a regular bodyweight split squat. It’s a good regression. And yes, my friend, I already have pretty much all your books!!

    Boy does your method mesh well with my way of working. I literally filmed the same exercise but sitting on a couch and called it 'couch surfing'. I hope you don't mind but there is a lovely 'tactile cue' you can incorporate at the start. 'Graze/slide' the knee slowly down the cupboard door focusing on the qualty of the sensation on the skin of the knee. It takes 'choice' out of matters which can be a great thing as the subconscious is allowed to get things perect instead of how we imagine they should be :)
