My dad's first car was a 1930 roadster. After he was in an accident, he rebuilt it as a cabriolet. He later sold it and regretted it when he learned the new owner chopped and channelled it into a hot rod. He lived in Victoria, BC, Canada at the time. The car would have probably been originally assembled in Winnipeg, where a coupe would have been more practical.

I will admit, I miss the days I could go a fast "food" place and get a full meal for under $10. I also miss the quality they used to have too. Oh well.
Remember all the choices for $5?? Remember the "$5 footlong" sandwiches??? I used to eat half of a $5 sandwich for lunch and the other half for supper!
@@ModelA indeed I do. Then again, I remember when gas was under $1 and milk under $2. And I'm 37. Now, more like $4.50 milk if you go to Weigle's and $2.89 gas unless you're getting ethanol free.
It's $5 gas where I am and $6 milk. Gas and milk were both under $2 four years ago.
@@ModelA no thank you. Y'all can keep that in Commiefornia.
I am getting the heck out of Commiefornia as soon as I retire!!! The only things keeping me here are my business and my dad. He's 95 years old, soo.....
1 tee shirt for just 34% more than a light Taco Ball lunch for 2. What has the world come to? But I'm sure the Great Orange One will fix everything, um, I mean, nothing....
We could afford to purchase and restore these cars before. But the economy of the last few years has forced us to sell 2 of them.
@@ModelA The way this economy is going, we'll all be riding bikes. And those are all open.
@@dougbrowning82 Hahhaaa True

Yes!!!
You are looking very trim these days Paul.
Thanks! All you have to do is get sick, have life-saving surgery to remove blockage, and recover! Boom! Instant weight loss!!!
Eh..I think your both wrong. You need a coupe with just a chicken wire top, now that's living.
Hahahhaaaa!! Oh man, that was funny
