Morning Meditation Challenge | Day 5 - Energy

  • Welcome to Day 6! [please read before you listen] So today I’ll guide you through a short and sweet follow-along breath session to oxygenate and energize your body. After, there is some time to rest and absorb the energy you have generated.
    There are three types of breath:
    The first is in through your nose and out through your mouth.
    The second is breath of fire, where you breathe rapidly out of your nose - we did this briefly in Day 1. You will pump the stomach to exhale, and then allow the inhale to be passive and come naturally.
    And the third is in and out through your mouth. The inhale is just like you are sucking through a straw, and the exhale is a release.
    This is a powerful practice, and you may notice tingling, heat or cold, emotions, or feel like you want to yawn (please do). If at anytime it feels like too much then please come back to your natural breathing and pick up the guided breath when you feel ready again.
    It’s a nice one to come back to if you want to increase your energy but don’t have enough time for a longer session. Enjoy!
