Gold is where you find it

- Metal detecting for gold nuggets can be rewarding but it can also turn to a difficult undertaking. Sometimes we find several gold nuggets in a patch, in other places we only detect one-nugget-patches and in other areas again we keep finding gold in-between previously dug detector holes. This area in the Goldfields of Western Australia is one of those places. We can’t believe how many gold nuggets we find in such obvious places. Gold is where you find it. Good luck out there, guys. Stay safe!

Digging a hole is liking opening up christmas presents. Are you going to get that red bicycle or the hand knitted reindeer sweater 🤣
Mark, the early bird gets the gold! But a sleep in is good every now and then. Well done on that tidy haul, Krissy! Great video!
I and I'm sure everyone who knows you through your channel get a real kick out of your bloopers. I was just wondering how many people you have motivated to get into detecting? It is now over a year since this video and you have kept them coming with all sorts of interesting and entertaining AND instructional content and to my absolute delight you keep them coming.
Thankyou Mark wherever you are and thankyou very much Krissy. Cya! 🇭🇲🤗
A joy to watch! Cant wait for the next one.

The bloopers were my fav part of today’s vid forsure 😂

Mark, I think Krissy may have done something to your detector. Trade machines for a day! Keep the videos coming!
I knew something was fishy! lol

That's why she gets up earlier than me, changes all my settings. Thanks for the heads up Weasel. I'll even things up a bit by putting some foil between her skidplate and coil 🤣👍🏻

Thanks, Bill. You stay safe to 💛👍
Good good, also like the nature shots! Thanks for sharing😊
Loving the videos Krissy and Mark. Think I've watched nearly all of them.
I live in Perth and can't wait to get out there myself for a look.
You keep safe guys, Cheers..
Thanks for the support Owen. Western Australia is an amazing state for prospecting. Just needs more rivers and less flies. Good luck and stay safe out there💛🍀⛏👍
Just found your channel a few day ago. Really enjoy it and just subscribed. Keep it up. Good hunting from the US.
Great video guys.
It's lovely to see you finding more gold in your back garden.
I hope it's going to be Mark's turn to top the scales soon.
I'm already looking forward to next weeks post.
Take care & stay safe.
Thanks, Ray. We are on the move north shortly to see if the gardens up there have had some watering and are yellow. I usually get lucky eventually and catch Krissy with a nice piece. Fingers crossed🤞
@@OutbackGoldFever Good luck in your travels Guys.
A good day out is always a blast. The devils dice are cool. Never saw those before. A little of the yellow stuff makes it a perfect outing!!
Maybe those little pieces beside the digger holes are the flakes the last guy chipped of the 15 gramers he was finding. Krissy's kill'in it!! Pays to get out early. I'm like Mark..... I heard early birds get worms so I stay in bed a little longer too, just to be on the safe side. :>)
Fell off the side of the 100 gram species they dug out for sure.👍 I'm all about risk management truthseeker, my body wouldn't support a family of worms 🤣
@@OutbackGoldFever .... Good call mate. I saw the size one of those Aussie strains of parasites captured in the video. See the pinchers on that sucker?? Ouch!! A guy would have to eat a hell of a lot of noodles to feed a family of them!!
I love your videos. You are both so down to earth. look forward to seeing more.
Thanks for your positive comments Martin 💛👍
I love how you two are a team out there. So proud of you both. :)))
Glad your liking our channel yackme muck💛👍
Great video as always Krissy and Mark! I've encountered the same situation where I've found nice nuggets in areas where plenty of detectorists have been digging. I even found a 1 gram nugget in the dirt from a hole that hadn't been filled in! Good karma! I filled the hole in. Love your work.
That's great Sean, instead of whinging, just fill thier hole in. Love your work 💛👍 Happy hunting 🍀⛏
Enjoyed watching you both detect for gold great job
Glad your liking our video's Ken 💛👍
Awesome video guys, it's Josh from my old channel JB Prospecting Victoria, after so many people have contacted me and asked why I don't have a channel anymore, I have decided to create a new channel, I'm starting to do videos early next week, thanks guys for the inspiration and I do apologize for the hickup with my old channel, you guys are amazing and great friends 🤠⛏️🇦🇺
Great news Josh. Was hoping you would reconsider. Can't wait to see Chasing Gold. Thanks for all the support you give our channel as well as the countless others. ❤️🍀⛏
@@OutbackGoldFever thanks you for your subscription, you guys would be the loveliest people that I have spoken to, thanks for your inspiration and looking forward to getting some videos out 😊
Awesome video again guys👌 loving the content👊
Thanks, Savage Prospecting, we've just got the nugget finder z search coil, very light, cant wait to give it a swing👍 Happy hunting
@@OutbackGoldFever that's awesome, I know a few guys that have them and they are loving them so much lighter!! Good luck to you guys can't wait to see the new coil in action and your thoughts on them👊
I just bought a GPZ 7000 .I've owned every other minelab detector from 1988 .I'm in the bush no gold but only detected for 5 hours and trying to work out settings and the sound of the new machine. Love your videos yehhhaaaaaaa
Nice Tim, we just received the new nugget finder z search coils and can't wait to try them out. We've found gold down to 0.08 grams with the zed. Like all the minelabs, play with the settings to find what works for you. Happy hunting Tim 🍀⛏👍
Great videos and lessons, keep them coming. Well done
Thanks for watching John 💛👍
Every day is a good day but finding 9 pieces between you is a very good day indeed. Nice going guys !!
Agreed!!
Even nicer from worked ground 💛🍀⛏
Great video, always nice to see gold. But one gram a day? Is that enough for your expences?
Definitely need more to get ahead, otherwise noodles, baked beans and sausages are still reasonably cheap👍
@@OutbackGoldFever love your attitude
Here we go! 🍿🍿🪃
My Wife and I have a saying " The harder you work the luckier you will be " . Yes some luck but hard work pays off. 🤔🤠⛏🌵

Thanks, Ron. He is missed around camp very much ❤
One of your best videos that I have watched. Really cool gold flakes.and I like the hot terrain and wildlife.
Thanks for the positive feedback Jan 💛👍
another fantastic day out for today the pair of :) nice gold finds
Nice work you two! Mark- lift your game.

If only we could keep those flakes, great size display pieces. Sorry i didnt find any holey ones for you☹
Nice going, all those flakes add up. Great vid as usual; keep at it and best of luck.
They certainly do owl3764. Thanks for your support 💛👍
10.40 I thought lunch was entering the scene
That was noodle,lol.
They are definitely edible Chris, but we may prefer to eat the gold first. 👍🏻
Your B roll “bugged” me! Nice macro caterpillar shot and gold of course! Cheers from Gold Country in NorCal!
We get bugged at every camp spot. Stay safe and happy hunting there in NorCal 💛🍀⛏
Guilderton.
That's not a Caterpillar, that's Mark's breakfast.
Caterpillar's are much bigger up that way, their mostly yellow with big rectangular thingies in front of em.
Looks like the previous detectorist had "All the gear but no idea". Just found your chanel and really enjoying your efforts, subscribed and looking forwarded to your future adventures and catching up on past ones
Welcome to the channel Ray. Plenty of adventures to come and we're happy to share them with you 💛👍
As usual another good video, THANKS. I will soon be out there, just waiting for the snow to melt.
Thanks, John. Good luck and happy hunting when that snow finally melts 🍀⛏
So good! I love the close up of the crawly caterpillar 🐛 ! Also the outtakes are awesome! Do any of those flying bugs bite (besides the mosquitoes)?
Mozzies are the only flying biters. And they are in places where there is no water about and shouldn't be there!
Great video guys, I guess the previous prospectors had different technology that maybe didn't respond to the flat gold all that well, or they were a bit all over the place, nice work and great gold.
Cheers, Pete
I think they just weren't worried about the crumbs. 👍
Awesome finds my friends.
Love the Aussie salute at the end!
Very patriotic 🇦🇺👍
Enjoyed watching another episode.
Do you guys plan on heading over to Victoria in the woods grassy areas?
Ahh, the land of green grass and shady trees, we have heard much of this fabled place and hope one day to do some prospecting there👍
Wow gold, thank you for sharing your adventure and time with us! 👍
Glad you liked it Lynn. Thanks for taking the time to watch 💛👍
You are a kept man Mark. Chrissy will keep you fed an watered.lol
Thank you.

Yeh, it's a tough life Andy🤣👍
Great Video! Thanks and Best of Luck to Ya. Cheers!
Thanks for the support V Vogt 💛👍
I look forward to your informative and interesting videos.
Glad you like them, Donald💛
Just shows gold is still in worked areas. Great vid :)
No one gets it all Grant 🍀⛏👍
Great video, great gold you two..!!
Thanks, Steve 💛👍
well done Mark and Chrissy on a bit of a roll better that a few others
Krissy is making it hard for me to catch up🍀⛏
Enjoy your videos guys, thanks. What settings do you run on your Gpz generally in WA in mineralised ground ? Also do you run the larger 19 inch coil all on the gpz - I have just bought a gpz that came with the extra coil, I’m guessing I’ll use the smaller coil whilst I learning, still haven’t swung it yet but it will be christened in a couple of months atLaverton. 😁👍
We mainly run in high yield difficult and 15 + sensativity, no audio or groud smoothing and mainly the 14 coil. The 19 is very heavy and hard to swing all day and most of the ground where in is shallow. Happy hunting Rob🍀⛏👍
Excellent video great finds. Good luck and good hunting. It will be cooling off some very soon.
Thanks, Dennis. It's been a very pleasant summer. A bit hot today at 39 deg c👍
It turned out to be a good day in the field. So, who ever detected that area before you was either in a huge hurry, and very impatient, or they were using some very inferior equipment. Either way, your experience and wise choice of detector saved the day. Congratulations 👏
Thanks, Steve. Gold is still there in worked ground, patience pays 👍🍀⛏
Well done. I’d love the chance to do WA again sometime. 😀⛏⛏
There will still be gold here when you return Gold Nugget Detecting 👍🍀⛏
I forgot to thank you for showing how to pinpoint using your coil, funny as it sounds I have never seen any channel show how and always wondered how the pro's do it.
Nice video guys, looks like you could spend a few more days there!
Thanks, owwcam, we could spend more time in this area, but we are keen to head north shortly 🍀⛏👍
Another awesome spot guys! On average how many days a week are you actually out detecting? As always great video!
We spend 6 days a week, however we have cut our detecting time drastically due to the time we spend filming and especially editing. We hope this changes once we gain some youtubing experience👍
Every bit helps. Noodles. Better than nothing Krissy well done. Noodles and pudding. 😁👌🏻🇿🇦🇬🇧
Hi, I've noticed from watching these gold detecting utube channels that many people find gold under bushes and trees!
Most people walk through an area the easiest and quickest way, more gold is left under bushes because it is harder and slower to detect.
Great videos thanks
Glad you like them Lozz 👍🏻
Krissy , the last guy that went thru there may have had a bad detector or was running on low battery power ,excellent video .
He was pissed, we could tell from all the beer bottles and caps🤣🤣👍
@@OutbackGoldFever lmao
Well done on your finds. Do you ever have trouble over there with tree roots ? I'm researching the 7000 and there are a few comments about them giving off signals. Cheers
We do get the occasional signal from tree roots. Must be a certain moisture content in the roots.
lol the bloopers :)
Plenty of those 🤣👍
Maybe the other people got a signal but lost it when the dug it out and walked away with the gold on the outside of their dig. Nice work!
More likely they got nice gold from the hole and were to excited to check again🍀⛏
Hi Krissy and Mark, thanks for the videos, which we are really enjoy watching on the big screen TV. Way better than Home and Away :) Different question to normal, but we are wondering what you do with your dog while you're out detecting? We also have a dog and with a prospecting trip in mind we are looking at a dog sitter or kennel. Cheers, Rob & Karen.
Hi again Krissy and Mark,
Apologies for previous comment and question. Have just seen Phantom's last adventure and feel terrible for the question we asked. We have lost dogs to snakebite, as well as old age and know only too well the pain of it. Memories to be cherished. Cheers, Rob and Karen.
Yeh that show really went to sh#t after kate richie left 🤣🤣🤣 We dont own a house and live and travell full time in the bush. Phantom lived a great life and the risk from 1080 is right across Australia, however in western Australia we believe it is used allot more than any other state . If you are able to kennel your dog or leave them with trusted people it would be allot safer. We took the risk and we lost our best friend to a cruel poison. Stay safe and happy hunting guys 💛🍀⛏
Krissy, you have a great nose for gold and the belief that you are better at gold detection than others. Super, super, super. I have been with you two for a little too long without having done what I should have done. So do as I do and help Outback Gold Fever. Smash the like bottom. Smash the damn thing hard and what ells you need to do - help Krissy and Mark. Wuhu, hope I remembered the names right!
Thanks TEJ Jenson for your kind comment and support. Krissy is a great prospector and detector operater and i am lucky to have found her ❤👍🍀
Another top quality video love you work cheers FB
Thanks FB. Not as entertaining as your vids but we're workin on it 💛🍀⛏👍
Na you got it covered you don’t need to change keep it real love watching them my favourite channel👍 n Mark lift ya game a bit Krissy flogs ya bro
I'll be the one filming and carrying the frosties if i dont lift my game. Hope mrs Fb gets well soon. Shoulder injuries are a pain in the ah, shoulder.
Hi there, great gold hunters,
It just goes to show, hard work & persistence does pay off..✅✅👌👋👋..
Good on Yous...
More good stuff
Thanks for watching Eynav 💛👍🏻
Well done guys, the channel is really taking off 💥
My wife once found a nugget in the middle of a patch i had flogged 😏
Did i just say that out loud ? 🤔😂
Can't go to town without being recognized, might have to borrow that goat to get rid of the beard.🤣🤣🤣 I'm sure I've left more gold than I've found🤠
You guys are living my dream good on you
We're very lucky to be living a life we love Micheal 💛🍀⛏👍
Well done.
a little bit of inspiration...😎✌️
Our goal is to at least provide some inspiration 👍🍀⛏
Thanks for letting us air our thoughts...in an area that shows earlier detecting another way of missing gold as your digging and speculating is by detecting one hand and it BOTH when you empty your hand upon the squelch ....that could be the oops moment ....just saying
Always swing your coil over the hole and pile after you've found your target and before you fill your hole in. 👍
Great gold guys.
If the wager was loser cooks camp dinner and does the dishes as well... Sorry Mark.
I think Krissy should give you a handicap, in the future Mark lol.
I always look forward to the next episode.
I would say video but they are so damn good I consider them episodes.
Thanks for the wildlife/reptiles/insect shots, love seeing things we don't have here in the U.S.
Can't wait for the next one, and keep us updated on the flooding if you are in any affected areas.
3.6 grams is just over an eighth ;)
If that was the wager Krissy would be up before the sun and out until she had more than me everytime. 🤣 Maybe we should be calling the channel a Vlog👍
That's not bad close to camp and you are right Krissy it's better in your pockets thats what i believe too keep it swinging
Thanks, Jeffrey. We love camping on the gold. We have picked up some good crumbs over the years detecting worked areas.
best prospector couple, Greetings from Morocco 👋
A year late again but, was interesting that you mentioned dousing for gold.... i taight myself dousing from a little book called "the american dousing society". I got to the level where i could douse any material, including gold, water, underground pipes etc., but the next level said it was becoming semi religious, in so much that they reckoned you could only progress further if you were doing " good deeds", i lost interest after that, but have divined six or seven water bores that were proved by drilling. The next level was called " over the hill". As i wanted to keep my gold finds that were over the next hill i decided to stick to the detector. I also am able to detect the most likely opal ground, i have in my ageing memory bank several spots to check out at quilpie from when i was a lad, but will have to win the lottery first to finance it.... good yarning again, catch you up a dry gully some day,,, kev
👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍 great videos guys.
Thanks, Matt 👍
Excellent job you two. I think your finding those smaller pieces of gold in that area because a GPZ 7000 has never been there.
People may have been running big coils on their gpx and missed the crumbs
@@OutbackGoldFever I agree with that. I'm running the SDC 2300 And finding subgram nuggets mostly when I find anything. But that's OK I like small medium large and extra large nuggets I don't leave any behind.
Nice couple
Well organised
Very 🤞
Thank you Mohamed 💛
Awesome video again. I found a $2 coin in someone's pile of dirt they didn't fill in, same colour as your little nugget. I think you win 😂 i could not believe how other people missed what you guys found. I was wondering what was magic number to find to eat your favourite meal again. I think I saw it on your first UA-cam video 👍 Take care guys didn't look to hot in the video.
We think with what they were finding they weren't worried about the crumbs. Lucky we can survive on crumbs Shaun. It's been a cool summer, just starting to get hot now we are planning on heading north. Stay safe 💛👍🏻
Do you think that gold could grow into plant mater and trees , and when fires come though that the gold drops out ? (I have noticed a lot of charring on nuggets .)
Scientists have found minerals in tree leaves that tell them that gold is in the area 👍
@@OutbackGoldFever thank you for answering my question .
Good on you guys
Thanks, Bruce 💛👍
great video
Thanks, Robert 💛👍
Eager to see the source :) 👍
I never thought to ask how far do you have to go to get food and other supplies?
Can be anything from 40 minutes to 3.5 hours drive each way to shop for supplies 👍
Who's needs noodles when you can breathe and eat all day long LOL
