Intersex Vlog Ep 164 Changes to Electrolysis (3/22/2024)

I finally talked to the person in charge of my electrolysis, and thankfully she listened to me and so now I am going every Tuesday and every other Saturday, and it is all covered by insurance, so even though it is a long drive and the gas money is expensive, it is still cheaper than it would be without insurance covering it, so that is huge. I am hoping over the next 2 months to see a lot of improvement in progress, or I am going to try to get on a waiting list somewhere and try paying out of pocket for a few appointments on top of this. Everything else in my life and transition for the most part is going pretty well, except electrolysis progress, so I am hoping that this really does make a difference.

After some soul searching, and discussion with my therapist, this vlog came to be. Some of it may be triggering, especially to trans/intersex folks, as this is a vlog about my coming to terms with, and dealing with, trans/intersex issues, as well as PTSD to childhood trauma to current events, raw emotions, so on, but I try not to ever be too graphic. Also, sorry the audio quality is not great on these, but it was important to me to capture myself without editing.
