With the time tested robust Seiko NH35a movement as its heartbeat this watch is a pleasure to wear and keeps great time.
With a warranty that beats some of the overpriced micro brand watches such as Deep Blue I think you should put this on your short list of watches to own.
    Thanks for viewing!
    Cheers,

@Armando Sturzenegger perhaps moisture got in.
I've used this watch for a year and now there's moisture under the glass. For a 300m Water Resistant water, it is disappointing to say the least. I put my hand in aquariums and use it at the beach. It has never gone deeper than a few feet. Tried putting it under a lamp with a bag of rice. But the moisture is still there.😩

@Armando Sturzenegger just read accidentally your comment tonight about blur and I've remembered that the same effect it happends exactly in dial crystal of my Grand Diver blue Invicta No ''3045'' that I purchased in Greece 2 years before but I didn' t notice it at the first season. Indeed some day I looked that it wasn' t very clear inside ' but I supposed that was a usual spec of the watch. The blur as the time was passing, getting more worse even that I never use th watch in deep sea water or something like this. Is a pitty of course ' because this diver has a remarkable time precision and generally a respectable quality. I'm thinking to send the watch to an expert for repairing and change the standard crystal with an better one (maybe a sapphire if it is necesary), because I like this item very much!

My 3045 'Grand Diver' INVICTA arrived poorly adjusted. After a 'magic touch' to the racket, I am spinning it between -1and +1seconds 24 hours !!!
Imo the NH35A is the winner among a lot of calibers much more expensives.

I own this watch and I love it! Its big enuff for a average man but not too big. Im 6'4" and 240 but it will look great on any man over 5'6" or a heavier shorter man. Ive owned mine for at least 3 yrs and it keeps great time! Most autos will lose or gain time, this one will lose time but only seconds over a month. Now if I dont wear it everyday it will die after 2 days but my capacitor may be worn out..Mine has held up to reg mens activities without the crystal becoming scratched. I get complements on it all the time in public. As far as lume, its ok my seiko's tended to last a bit longer, but it still is easy to read in complete darkness for about 4 or 5 hrs.. I dont sell these I just like watches and this is a really really good deal for the money. You will get complements often it looks amazing outside or in light!

Honest good review, I have an 8 1/4 inch wrist, so fits me great. I do wish they would make it thinner but you cant beat the price point and quality. Seiko's are getting pretty darn expensive, but Seiko divers are a next level watch. So if you want a beater that looks great, this fits the bill. If it gets destroyed or lost you won't lose sleep over it. I hope they keep coming out with new colors. For what you get in a Grand Diver, its hard to beat the price. I have a feeling the Grand Diver/ Pro Diver is here to stay.

An interesting video. I have a small wrist so dive watches can be a problem for size but I came across the 8927 OB two tone gold/black watch which like the watch you have shown has the same Seiko movement which is one of the reasons I purchased the watch. I received the watch this morning 27/12/18 and I was blown away by the quality of it. I have had to take out three links and the watch is very comfortable to wear and fits perfect being a 40mm watch. I must admit I really love this purchase and I will be wearing it a lot. Cannot understand why people knock Invictas as I can't fault this watch for value at £59.99 on Amazon UK and is about a third of the price of a Seiko 5 here in the UK. Thanks for posting this video.

Seems to me that the Invicta made in Malaysia autos with Seiko movements are basically a Seiko. For less. I bought this exact one based solely on the color. I think the Invicta Grand diver is excellent value for money. The crystal, lume and bracelet clasp are it's only weakness ...I'm sure this is deliberate, as not to embarrass the two main popular watch brands...I would gladly pay more for this watch if they could improve on one or two of these issues....I own about six of these watches. The bracelet should fit the biggest of wrists, unlike some more expensive brands, where I have found myself having to source extra links from the manufacturer ...Not good, when you just want to chuck a big hunk steel on your wrist....Invicta rules!!!

  • @ryokan9120
    @ryokan9120 2 роки тому

The only criticism I have of this watch is it has a steel bezel rather than a ceramic bezel. Steel bezels will get scratched in time and they don't have the glossy shine of ceramic bezels. Ceramic bezels are scratch proof and I've noticed recently, they are supplied as standard on most Chinese homage watches.

Made by a company that was around in 1837 and still around shows some kind of quality and knowledge . I wish that they would make a work watch like g shock. I look forward to putting my watches on checking it out every 5 min, it’s for me not the person with a Rolex, like a jealous kid stating that they have a better quality watch, I really don’t give a ,,,,!!!!!!🙂I like my watches and that’s what counts in my ballpark.plus they are durable and a bit odd this is exactly what I like about the watches who wants to be a clone experience life’s differences you might enjoy it and find a new quality product.

It seems to me that you can't seem to figure out if you like it or not. I tried one of these on, as well as the pro diver(same watch, just smaller dimensions) and personally loved the bigger size. The bottom line is that this is a great watch, at a great price. If you don't like certain aspects about it, get something else. There are seemingly hundreds of brands of watches out there at different price points, with both quartz and automatic movements, that are very easy to find. Don't just say "this watch is shitty because A.B.C" Say "I don't personally like this watch, etc" and move on. Personally, I'm going to throw mine on a sweet custom leather strap, and make it my own. When else in the history of horology have you been able to get this level watch at this price? :)

Come on man, you cant do a lume shot without actually charging it up first and then say lets take a look at the lume.
Also, I'd rather have those dive cases than their cheaply made cheese boxes. You do realize Invicta made it in a shiny finish because that's the look they were going for. They also make these watches in a brushed finish. Sounds like your complaining about minor things like the case being too flashy or there are too many dive helmets its a sub $100-200 watch. I don't mean to come down like a jerk but it's not like it a Submariner or a Fifth Fathoms by Blancpain. I do find it a little bit strange that your actually a fan of the Brand name on the side of the case that's one thing a lot of people hate.

Those Seiko movements are workhorses. They still sell used automatic Seiko movements from the 70s that work great. Unless you're buying a watch as an investment, a Seiko movement will probably last a lifetime and longer without the usual 4 yearly maintenance that Swiss and other mechanical movements require...

Just one bad review after the next of people dealing with Invictas customer service and really slimey business practices like charging hundreds of dollars for stuff that is stated under warranty. Just too many similar stories all saying the same thing.
