Excellent video, I think stippling gets a lot of attention for weathering and painting grimdark but its nice to see it demonstrated as a speed painting technique. I did my night lords with a stippled blue and I got through them super quick and I was stoked with the results. Great video and I'll be mirroring this technique on my next apothecaries!
Thank you a million times for such incredible feedback. I love that i could help you out with your night lords! And also with your future apothecaries! The idea behind this stippling from my side is to bring in a slight grimdark look, that still keeps some clean more Eavy Metal spirit. That is the style of painting i love! 🤟
You are a amazing miny painter, I am wondering if you plan on doing a 30k death guard speed painting. Keep up the amazing work, you inspired me to get back to painting🙏
Thanks you so much!!! Glad that i could inspire you to get back to the painting part of the hobby! As soon as i was able to get some Forgeworld Death Guard decals. it will be the next 30k traitor tutorial. 😃
Indeed, i use the gloss varnish in front of to integrate the decals and protect the colo from the mineral spirit in the oil wash. The oil wash kills shiny elements and the glowing eyes and battle damage would just look messy. But the Problem is, i cant paint on top of the oil wash. I have to seal the oil was afterwards with the satin varnish to finish the painting smoothly and don't damage my regular brushes with leftovers. 😄
Its kit bashed, i used a silencer from a Space Marines Hero sniper an a scope from the regular tactical squad 40k box.The Bolter is from the regular MK VI squad. 😄
Sadly Dark Angels will be one of the last guides. Before i started with UA-cam i did a Instagram series where i painted the heresy legions. This inspired me to make the UA-cam Videos. And i already painted Dark Angels there. So i decided that i will paint them in the end for UA-cam again. But there will be one! 😅
Depends on the time you want to spend on a army. I painted a full Eavy Metal Sons of Horus Army last year in about 1000+ hours :D www.plaguenarr.com/armies-on-parade-2023/ If you want spend not so much time, you can skip certain steps to shorten the time. just edge higlight bolters, dont edge highlight metals and skip scope paintings you can save up about 1-1,5h only with these simple skips.
@plaguenarr well either way I do think your tutorials are top notch . Especially the word bearers one. Just not sure how or what paints I'm gonna use to do my war hounds and imperial heralds. Then next I wanna do Dusk raiders and the 30k ultra marines nemesis chapter-but haven't seen any tutorials on any of them sadly 😔
This is the best white paint I’ve seen. Most look too white without weathering, yours is perfect.👍🏽
Thank you so much! This keeps me up doing more stuff like that ❤

Thank you, pal!
Thank you for this guide! Thanks to you, my problem with white armor is solved
You're welcome mate! Glad that my guide could inspire you ! ❤
Lovely work
Thank you very much!
A great tutorial on black shields would be awesome. Haven't seen a UA-cam video covering that topic ,
Glad that you like it! Thank you very much!
Is there a special reason for varnishing and the painting weathering, eyes and lenses and not the other way round?

Great video! Where did you get the suppressed bolters from?

Will you be making a guide on black armour next ? I'm playing dark angels in HH and it's been a pain painting black !

Also what to do when I accidentally sploch the other colours on white when I'm painting the other parts
simply repeat paint it over it or cover it with battle damage!
4 hrs to do the model? Do def not a process to do for a full army , but really sick painting though

Dumb question but did you thin the paints or use it as it is
Read the description ;)
@@plaguenarr haha thanks ! I neglected to watch the description ! It's way way detailed ! Thank you very much for the guide !
@@hvincent1106 you're welcome! :)
Please stop rotating the paint bottles back and forth! That makes it much harder to focus on the actual name of the paint!
Read the video description and all your problems are solved!
