Speaking of deadzones, a lot of folks overlook the importance of the max deadzone in THIS specific game, especially for the left stick. If any of you (like me) are experiencing issues where you can't maintain a sprint when changing directions (for me it was anytime I'd try to run forward and right) you'll want to lower your max deadzone until you can maintain a sprint in all directions and also make a full circle with the joystick while sprinting and never losing sprint. Some controllers struggle to reach maximum input when the stick is fully pressed in a direction, and for those controllers, you MUST reduce your max deadzone if you want to be able to move fluidly and maintain a sprint while using the omnimovement. I know I wasn't the only person experiencing this, but I have yet to see a single content creator mention it in their "best controller settings" videos.

3:24 The 1.00 ADS sensitivity value does not mean your ADS and Hip fire sensitivity is the same. It just represents the default value (for CoD it is 33% , meaning that if you use a scope with a 1x zoom and aim your sensitivity will be one third of your hip fire sensitivity). I usually set mine to 1.5x which corresponds to 50% ADS sensitivity, same I use in Battlefield.
Sprint assist was the only thing I didn't understand at first, but coming to understand it and use it has been gamechanging. The lack of instant sprint made me feel like the game was slower (because I got used to it on MWIII), but with sprint assist, I feel like a speedy lil fella.
8:12 You left out the delay that comes from tap to slide or dive and the hybrid setting which doesn't have the delay and it's a lot more responsive and consistent.
I find my character still sliding when I hit both at same time. Its like you have to click in the stick first then tap like a second after. Still feels like a slight delay
A lot of my settings I had on MW3 didn’t carry over to BO6. It felt weird while playing on their settings. Kinda felt like I was on ice skates when ADS. I adjusted em to my settings and it still feels a little off but feels better as I go.

But for some reason when I got on BO6 on release day my settings didn’t carry over 🤔. Ohh and the last 2 days of logging in i gotta change my FOV back to 115 because it keeps going back to the default FOV. So idk what’s up cod 🤷🏽♂️

About that fancy new audio setting, it's a 3D audio generator, and it doesn't inform you of important things you need to do in order to use it correctly. So if you've already got Dolby Atmos, Windows Sonic, DTS Headphone X, etc, or any other audio processor on, it's going to sound terrible. You should only have 1 of these audio processors on at a time, if any, and never more than 1. So if you've got any kind of audio processing going on, such as the Astro A40/A50 Dolby stuff, switch that to Passthrough, or to the Star button. There's a bunch of headphones and headsets out there that come with some kind of post-signal audio processing - you do not want multiples of these running at the same time, only 1 or none. On your Xbox Dashboard settings, go to General>Volume and Audio Output, then make sure to set "Headset audio" to Stereo Uncompressed. If you're going to try this in-game 3D sound generator, make sure there's nothing else going on that will interfere with its ability to do what it's designed for. I find that CoD these days is really super loud on the explosions, and when I'm laying on the trigger. This CoD audio processor takes that down quite a bit so I like that a lot. It doesn't really make footsteps easier to hear though. They're still quiet.

I have to admit I didn't like his voice and content after Driftor stopped doing this type of videos but since MW3 and Black Ops 6 leaks coverage I've come used to it. The man does a great job at explaining everything and also giving proper solutions to the things he doesn't like.
I will swear by the After Zoom setting and encourage you to take another look at it. The absolute fastest way to 180 and zoom in on someone is to use After Zoom because you can start zooming in before you reach the desired direction without any decreased speed. Releasing zoom is also faster and easier with this setting. If you finish getting a kill and want to face a different direction, you can zoom out and turn at your normal, higher sensitivity. It's also amazing in close quarters gunfights. Especially in BO6, you will have people sliding past you at high speeds. After Zoom allows you to zoom out and instantly track the enemy at your usual hipfire speed, and zooming back in once you're aiming at them again will apply instant brakes to your reticle in a way that feels very responsive.
I tried a few of the other so called “pro” controller settings and kept dying like crazy. These settings beats them all and is what I am used to. Trying to change up my old settings was a mistake and these settings just feel right. Good on you dude👍
With the UI customization, we should be able to manually select and place each piece of it. That would go so much farther than the presets we have now. I was looking for a specific setup and just couldn't find one that worked for me so I'm stuck with default.
Ace you really gotta try the hybrid setting for slide/dive behaviour. A slight learning curve but it opens up both movements to be used instantly with no annoying delay. Gives an advantage if you can use more movement options than your opponent without any delay.
Hey ace thanks for an amazing video as always I tried the enhanced audio settings the personalised ones Tbh they sound amazing on my headphones just make sure to keep your equalizer set to flat on your headphones settings I had a customised equalizer settings for mw3 but with this new sound profile kept on flat to take advantage of there own eq
If anyone is usig Filter 2 colour setting then I recommend reducing it to 50 as a value, it adds some colour and warmth but still maintains a more realistic look that is lost when you increase it too high and it begins to make the game look overly saturated and cartoony, at least on OLED. A map like 'Subsonic' really shows this with it's more realistic look and lighting.
I'll say I've tried the headphone plus bass boost with the enhanced headphone mode on, and as for my audio setup it does sound pretty good. The footsteps are hard to hear but I also get that having to balance around the multiplayer aspect, so makes sense why they are quiet, maybe I'll try out the treyarch mix soon. I do appreciate the fact that the auto mantling and auto sprinting will help those with hand issues by clicking extra buttons or inputs, they also passively help blind players who may not be able to see that there is something to mantle on, so it'll just do it for you or crouch beneath something, so those settings not only help motor impairment but also visual impairment. People kind of wish there was a setting to turn down the gunshot sound effect so I could clearly more identify when I'm actually hitting an enemy with bullets or explosives or whatever, can't hear if

I was surprised to not find a simple brightness setting. I noticed (more so in Zombies mode) that I really wanted to bring up the brightness but couldn't.
@colinwood8812 you can see it in the video when Ace is going through the display settings. Pcs display settings are more involved but gamma and brightness is quite literally right there on the menu
I like dynamic on previous CoD but the dynamic on this game seems broken, dynamic is really slow when barely moving your stick, felt like I needed to bump up my sens and my ads sens to overcome it. Decided on linear now because of how less responsive dynamic felt on this game

How do you turn off your character going into a MELE attack while you enemy is 10 feet away? He just kills you while you were supposed to be shooting not mele attacking from that far.
Sounds like you're accidentally clicking down the right stick (R3) as you're aiming in gun fights. It's quite common to put too much pressure onto the stick in the heat of a battle.
I noticed the crosshair was turned off by default for some reason after starting the game, not sure if anyone else had that happen. I also hope they fix the timer being hidden behind the minimap when you scale the latter up too much.
I've hated Treyarch's ADS movement since Cold War and then my friend told me to change my Transition Timing to "Instant" It's way better and feels more like the MW games

@@BEANSnRICE yeah dude, open a private game, put 1 bot on the enemy team and then you'll be able to open that setting. The bot is so the enemy doesn't forfeit after 20 seconds. It's unlocked while in a game only. Don't know why.
i do the opposite of you with sliding and diving. i turned my option to tap to dive and made it short. this way i can slide like i always do, but i can quickly dive in/out if fire if i am in danger.
FYI if you can't get the travel to New Zealand trick to work on Xbox, you have to also change your Activision account location, just add a random New Zealand address
To get CRISPY flicks, put the right stick deadzone input between 60 and 65. Also use aim response curve scale 0.00-0.10 on dynamic if using a higher sens.

I found a setting where I could swap my hold to focus from my left stick to my right the other day but I’ve looked for the past hour or so & can’t find it. Has it been removed? Binding simply replaces button features yes but can I not change separate features ??

No worse than the mini map but yes. I'm on a plasma so I run it's de pixelator or just watch a movie/TV for a few hours after playing. OLED has less burn in probability than plasma but 10 years plus of COD on the plasma equals no burn in with described above.
Has anyone managed to have the crosshairs stay on screen when Tactical Sprint is ON or in use? They stayed in place on MWIII but now they disappear an just keave the centre dot only, I've tried every combination of settings but can't get them to stay on whwn sprinting. Weirdly they stay on in the Firing Rnage but not in an actual game. 🤔
I don't know if just me but I play Legacy Tactical+Flipped with Inverted settings but when I go into a score-streak like a rocket launcher the settings are Default (no longer inverted)???
I feel like the spawns are god awful (and maps, but maybe I'll get used to them). In a few dom games, both being and getting dominated, the spawns stuck us at our respective spawn side, making us unable to push to even our first point. When it does flip, it still feels like there's too many enemies nearby. For hardpoint, if you don't hold the hardpoint, you get spawned all the way across the map. If you hold it, you spawn right next to it. The biggest offender right now (to me) is Skyline's office hardpoint, where the holders get a spawn behind the staircase and the attackers spawn at the other base spawn. It's ridiculous. Also, I have reasons to suspect hardcore is bugged out. Same guns, same damage, yet hitmarkers can happen at the same exact range a one shot can happen. I know the XM4 can one shot anywhere in max range, yet you can get hitmarkers.
I wonder if Ace'll touch on the impression farmers soon lmao (like that one being posting about MOTION SENSOR settings saying it makes ya game feel smoother....)

One thing that is bothering me is that it seems to be really 'sticky' to get out of tac sprint. I'll be in situations where I want my gun back up by I'm still in the sprint whenever I move.
Is there any way to turn off the after-sprint delay like you could in the beta? It's incredibly frustrating to quick let go of W to switch to walking, only to have the game keep me in a sprint even though I let go of the movement key to change that. This is absolutely essential for hipfire guns and the only way I found to do it is to quick tap right click (ADS).
They took a few aim assists options out. I loved using the "Precision" aim assist type in previous titles. Super strong slowdown ONLY when youre you're dead on the enemy. You had to be very accurate, but it the downside was no rotational aim assist. Wish they would've brought that back

I have the exact opposite problem. My guy won’t stop sprinting ever and it’s annoying as hell.

If your in the main menu you can't select it. Go into multiplayer and then into settings and you should be able to select it.

@colinwood8812 you can see it in the video when Ace is going through the display settings. Pcs display settings are more involved but gamma and brightness is quite literally right there on the menu

Struggling with aiming in BO6 compared to MW3 where i had settings in a good place so need to finally dial settings in on BO6
I like dynamic on previous CoD but the dynamic on this game seems broken, dynamic is really slow when barely moving your stick, felt like I needed to bump up my sens and my ads sens to overcome it. Decided on linear now because of how less responsive dynamic felt on this game
And i Wonder the whole time why why my aim is so Slow in close quarter Moments on enemys

@@Brxckz i am not, I did go back to dynamic but upped my sensitivity by 1. Hall effect sticks look awesome though
@@HaZeyTheViking that’s what i’m trying right now as well, they’re great although i do feel like the hall effects start off slower than the normal sticks, on top of the fact you are saying it feels slower in this game in general
@Brxckz it's possible that the sticks have a built in response curve from the factory. I have heard that some do

If you're already using Tactical use Bumper Jumper Tactical.

How do you turn off your character going into a MELE attack while you enemy is 10 feet away? He just kills you while you were supposed to be shooting not mele attacking from that far.
Sounds like you're accidentally clicking down the right stick (R3) as you're aiming in gun fights. It's quite common to put too much pressure onto the stick in the heat of a battle.
Too bad we can't turn off mele completley. But thank you for the info 👍

I noticed the crosshair was turned off by default for some reason after starting the game, not sure if anyone else had that happen. I also hope they fix the timer being hidden behind the minimap when you scale the latter up too much.

@@Gamer528 - Aiming in and out. When you put it on Instant, your sensitivity settings for aiming will kick in as soon as you touch your left trigger.

@@BEANSnRICE yeah dude, open a private game, put 1 bot on the enemy team and then you'll be able to open that setting. The bot is so the enemy doesn't forfeit after 20 seconds. It's unlocked while in a game only. Don't know why.
i do the opposite of you with sliding and diving. i turned my option to tap to dive and made it short. this way i can slide like i always do, but i can quickly dive in/out if fire if i am in danger.

To get CRISPY flicks, put the right stick deadzone input between 60 and 65. Also use aim response curve scale 0.00-0.10 on dynamic if using a higher sens.

No worse than the mini map but yes. I'm on a plasma so I run it's de pixelator or just watch a movie/TV for a few hours after playing. OLED has less burn in probability than plasma but 10 years plus of COD on the plasma equals no burn in with described above.

Looking for help on auto tac sprint… I know so many people use it, but what are the pros and cons of it
Has anyone managed to have the crosshairs stay on screen when Tactical Sprint is ON or in use?
They stayed in place on MWIII but now they disappear an just keave the centre dot only, I've tried every combination of settings but can't get them to stay on whwn sprinting.
Weirdly they stay on in the Firing Rnage but not in an actual game. 🤔
I don't know if just me but I play Legacy Tactical+Flipped with Inverted settings but when I go into a score-streak like a rocket launcher the settings are Default (no longer inverted)???
I feel like the spawns are god awful (and maps, but maybe I'll get used to them). In a few dom games, both being and getting dominated, the spawns stuck us at our respective spawn side, making us unable to push to even our first point. When it does flip, it still feels like there's too many enemies nearby. For hardpoint, if you don't hold the hardpoint, you get spawned all the way across the map. If you hold it, you spawn right next to it. The biggest offender right now (to me) is Skyline's office hardpoint, where the holders get a spawn behind the staircase and the attackers spawn at the other base spawn. It's ridiculous.
Also, I have reasons to suspect hardcore is bugged out. Same guns, same damage, yet hitmarkers can happen at the same exact range a one shot can happen. I know the XM4 can one shot anywhere in max range, yet you can get hitmarkers.
I wonder if Ace'll touch on the impression farmers soon lmao (like that one being posting about MOTION SENSOR settings saying it makes ya game feel smoother....)

One thing that is bothering me is that it seems to be really 'sticky' to get out of tac sprint. I'll be in situations where I want my gun back up by I'm still in the sprint whenever I move.
Is there any way to turn off the after-sprint delay like you could in the beta? It's incredibly frustrating to quick let go of W to switch to walking, only to have the game keep me in a sprint even though I let go of the movement key to change that. This is absolutely essential for hipfire guns and the only way I found to do it is to quick tap right click (ADS).
They took a few aim assists options out. I loved using the "Precision" aim assist type in previous titles. Super strong slowdown ONLY when youre you're dead on the enemy. You had to be very accurate, but it the downside was no rotational aim assist. Wish they would've brought that back
