Awesome man! A lot of potential in it. A few tips I wish I would have thought about more is think about the customers/consumers of your music and study the different genres/types of music and try to figure out what’s at the intersection of what’s working and what you like to do
@@DillyDGIB Thanks man, I appreciate that. I have a question... what kind of content should I be posting on Instagram & tiktok to help boost or drive traffic to my Type beats channel. I've been looking at some of the top type beat producers Instagram pages but they all seem to post different types of content and I can't seem to find a common pattern/formula?
@@giftedtbeats I actually don’t think IG is the go to platform to make sales, I think it’s pretty much UA-cam, Beatstars and email. However that doesn’t mean IG can’t drive sales. @@DillyDGIB that makes sense, I appreciate your feedback. I'm uploading consistently on UA-cam and Beatstars just need to do some research on how to build an email list and then to turn that into Beat sales

Hey Dilly! Great video, super helpful and inspiring as always. Let me ask you something.... couple of months ago I created my own website and started selling samples individually (wav + stems) for $2, with the possibility for the costumer to assemble a personalized sample pack with progressive discounts. A lot of times people buy packs for 1 or 2 maybe 3 samples in your case instead of a $30 or $60 sale you’re going a $2-6 sale. This stuff takes time… unfortunately Another question I would ask is how much time do you spend studying vs creating? Also making on camera content is not necessary if the skills are there, some of the highest earning producers I know never show their faces, they’re just freakishly good and have been working for 12+ years. I would take the lack of views and sales as “I either don’t understand what works well enough yet, or my skill isn’t at the level it needs to be yet” it can be tough because there’s no clear answer here, and I would have to hear your music to give you specifics at this point
