Red vs Blue Season 13 Episode 20 "The End"
His Speech:
"Hey guys, if you are hearing this, it means you did it. You won.
You kicked the shit out of Hargroves forces. I knew you could, but this is my last stop.
See, when I came into this world, I was really just a collection of someone else's memories.
But with your help, these memories, they took form, they became my voice, my personality, and after a while,
I began to make brand new memories of my own.. All of these things are what make me who I am, but they are also holding me back. I can't run this suit..as Epsilon, but if I erase my memories, if I... Deconstruct myself.. The fragments I'll leave behind will have the strength to get you through this, I believe that.
I wish there was another way. But I am leaving this message, as well as others, in the hopes that you will understand why I have to go this time. Ahaha, it was actually Doyle who made me realise something I'd never thought of before. There are so many stories where, some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero..never gets to see that ending, they'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference, they'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith. Ain't that a bitch." - Leonard Church
This hits infinitely harder now knowing that this is essentially the last piece of intended canon in Red vs Blue, ain't that a bitch?
Jordans message luckily mentions RvBs final season. We're still getting the finale, RvB gets to see its ending.
@@AzurePhoenix636 a completely unessesary ending
For those who are dissatisfied with the final season, we can write our own endings after this scene. For Red vs. Blue, the canon ending may have come, but the fanon multiverse continues to grow. So my friends...
Shall we proceed?
@@ReiseLukas I thought season 13 was the last season?Everything after was just a bunch of trashy fan fiction.
@@ArbiterofTruth That's how I see it.
I love how each characters’ last words are... just the summation of their character arcs.
Sarge: “Gentlemen, looks like this is it.”
No insults, no prejudice against the blues, just that true leader he had inside him all along, shining out as he inspires his men one last time.
Simmons: “Sir, it’s been an honor.”
No longer brown-nosing, a genuine sense of camaraderie and respect.
Lopez: “If I die, Make sure my parts are recycled.”
Still the practical one, but now having come to peace with himself. He no longer wishes to simply exist. He’s ready to become more than what he is.
Donut: “I love you too Lopez.”
Donut does his gay thing and misunderstands Lopez, yeah, but he also shows how close he’s come with his team. Remember how not so long before, no one liked Donut, and he didn’t care for anyone on either team more than peripherally.
Doc: “Aw, that’s so sweet.”
O’Malley: “Now, let us strike fear into the hearts of our enemies!”
Doc’s finally become a member of the team, as well as bringing O’Malley’s desires of mass destruction down to fighting for his friends. He finally cares about them more than just because of orders.
Grif: “That’s the smartest thing you’ve ever said.”
Sassing like usual, but no longer maliciously. Just taking someone else’s fighting words, so he doesn’t have to think up his own. But it isn’t laziness now. He already gave his fighting words when he drew the Grif Shot again. He doesn’t have to say anything more. He has nothing left to prove.
Caboose: “YEAH! Let’s get ‘em!”
Dear Caboose... still so innocent and happy, finally able to fight with his friends in a way he understands. He has his buddies, and they care about him like he’s always wanted.
Tucker: “See you on the other side, Church.”
He has faith in his best friend. It’s no longer coincidental friendship, he actually cares about and trusts Church. And in those words, he says all he needs to. Faith in the plan, in Epsilon running the suit, in keeping him safe...
Church: “Ain’t that a bitch?”
Do I even have to say anything?
Well, I suppose there’s one think I can say:
“Run it again FLISS.”
Oh my god, that is beautiful
This is massively understated.
"Run it again FLISS", how this ending really feels to me.
@Brother Kotello “perhaps the next time around….”
bro the run it again FLISS is so good... i totally haven't watched this clip like 75 times
I don't care what anyone says. This is the true ending of Red Vs Blue.
Edit: It's been two years and suddenly getting way too many more comments on this so... I should clarify...
The final season looks promising. But I can't say that I have my hopes up to much. It's not too unlike Rooster Teeth to fumble the ball nowadays.
Second Edit: I am broke. And have not watched it yet. Pls no spoilers. I have heard it's good. Just waiting to be able to see it myself.

The meta's end goal, in uniting the fragments of the AI, was to become human, to restore themself to what they should be, but they were always missing the most crucial part. He can have logic, creativity, pride, anger, any of the other parts of the human psyche that coincide with the other fragments, and still fall short, still be a monster. The meta failed, both in his attempts to unite the fragments, and to become human. One fragment however, became as close to human as it was possible, growing and learning and truly finding friends. Epsilon, the memory of alpha, was the only one to truly achieve any sense of humanity, through his memories. both of what was left of his past, and the ones he made in his experiences. The memories of his friends, the relationships they formed, and the challenges they overcame. That is what made Church, human. After all, memory is the key.
Ain’t that a b**ch
Delta also managed to break free of his logical thinking which is incredibly difficult. He said to Tex that he wanted to stay with York despite the logical move being to go with Tex. I don’t know why he was able to do this but he was the first to break free of his programming
@@caelanathey124 because like church, he had a friend.
@@d.n5287 i don’t think that’s the deciding factor. I imagine that it was the fact that Epsilon was a composition of memories that allowed him to express other emotions since he could remember it. Delta however was always logical, every time. But when York was injured, the logical thing to do would be to go with Tex, but he didn’t, he stayed with York.
I think Epsilon had an unfair advantage tbh. Since he initially had and then recovered all of the memories of the Alpha, he had all the memories of his emotions, life, and hardships which he can use as referances to grow off of. The other AI just had their own experience from their birth to go off of. In which id say Delta and Theita would have been a close second for potential to grow
If anyone is here due to the recent controversy around Rooster Teeth I'm glad you're here to honor the true finale of the greatest show that Rooster Teeth ever created. While RT crumbles and decays from its it's own corruption let's just remember the good times when they actually had passionate people in charge who despite initially making this show for shits and giggles transformed it to a story that many will remember for the rest of their lives.

I agree, I think it's too sad.
We allow corrupt people to infest beautiful creations to dust and yes memory is the key but how long will it take for that key to break? There HAS to be a way for average enjoyer to unite and create and preserve that kind of thing, stranger and more impossible things than that has happened so there HAS to be a way.
You know...I started RVB only a few weeks ago. Before that, though, I knew it existed; I would see on so many sad songs comments quoting Agent Carolina's "never say goodbye" and, mostly, lamenting the death of Church. After starting and finding out Church died in the first few episodes, I began to think it was some running joke. And, indeed, Church kept "dying" over and over, only to be revived in some shape or form. It got to the point where I didn't truly worry about Church dying...until a few episode before this, when he deconstructed due to the pressure Carolina was putting on him during the battle with Sharkface. It suddenly hit me that, despite all his previous "deaths," Church was still a very vulnerable, very relatable character who had grown incredible amounts throughout the series. And when I finally reached this scene. I understood every one of those comments. Sure, Church may have died in the first few episodes, but his life wasn't truly felt until the end of the show.
Ain't that a b**ch.
>.> I'm already trying not to cry dammit, stahp!
Damn you, I didn't need this, so fuckin deep!!!!! Ugh I give up

great way to put it
I think the most touching part of the finale is that we see every character together, with allvtheir personalities. We see them finally united, putting their petty fights behind them and finally becoming a team. Man, if this really is the end of the main story and season 15 doesnt bring it back, im glad it ended on such a high note.
They should have ended it with this episode...
The Crusader agreed

For me this was RVB's series finale

It should have ended here.
I was waiting for this moment since the first episode the og guys colorful armor and all no freelancers no op good guys just our lovable band of idiots standing finally together not as red team and blue team but the reds and blues also I really hope season 17 fixes a LOT of problems that 16 caused
THEY GIVED ONE HINT IN THE PREVIOUS SEASON ABOUT O'MALLEYS BETRAYL AND IT PISSES ME OFF
This is actually one of the best voice acting scenes i’ve ever heard. You can actually hear pain in his voice as he talks. Maybe Burnie was drawing some emotions into this script reading, because, holy shit it actually is amazing.
Maybe he’s drawing his emotions knowing that he’ll never be Church again.
people just dont make shows like this anymore. they are all just there to make money and not to be good and make people laugh, cry and go wow that was pretty cool, they just go for the wow that was really cool
It reminds me of the song Indomitable from RWBY. When you listen to that song there is a point right near the end of it where the singer of really every song from RWBY, Casey Lee Williams, is singing and if you listen closely you can hear her voice crack. It really shows how much she respected Monty and shows how much singing that song, a song that was written to memorialize Monty and his work, was really hard on her, and probably everyone that was in the recording area at the time, and it makes the song so much sadder whenever I listen to it
This right here is where RvB ended for me. It was such a great finale. Story felt like it had truly fleshed out everything it needed to, characters felt well developed and rounded, and a nice good heartfelt goodbye speech from Church that felt like a goodbye to the fans, just as much as it was to his friends.
Everything after this was just random filler plot garbage imo.
The most important part of all of this is that there were already established ways to bring Church back, the least talked about is the alien in the sarcophagus that fixes AIs, and none of them were pursued.
@@DSiren I’m a bit late responding to this, but what I think they were going for here was a final send off for Church/Epsilon entirely, as I think this was originally intended to be the last season of RvB.
From what I can tell they were implying here that being Church is what was holding Epsilon back, so he was going to sacrifice himself and essentially leave behind fresh “Newborn” AI fragments.
That quick flash of different AI lining up across the screen also makes me thing that those new fragments would eventually pair up with the other Reds and Blues in place of Church. Doing it that way would actually mean that there wouldn’t be any part of Epsilon left to fix because all the creature in the Sarcophagus did was remove the fragments from Alpha.
Of course then Season 15 came around and threw all that out the door and said “meh, epsilon died, his fragments died, and so did the badass Meta suit” and then the new writers just pounded some opium and went off
@DSiren I think that's a beauty of it. Maybe Epsilon will wake up. Maybe he won't. Maybe the RaBs will make it out of there and try those out. Maybe they won't. We have to have faith that they did. Just like Church
Yeah. Season 14 was decent, but 15, 16, and 17 were fucking weird and 18 was an attempt to reboot the whole thing that fell flat and killed the series.
Season 17 was actually really good
this show went from being just a bunch of jokes to a show with that makes you crie and has so much depth.
69th like. Bow chika bowow.
Too early?
And now we have RvB Zero...
that's exactly where the show died for me
Did anyone notice from left to right it's Grif, Simmons, and Sarge and near the middle is Sarge, Tucker and Caboose. and as it slowly goes right all the Reds and Blue are slowly mixing into one team.
And did anyone else notice that in this epic scene, it's all the originals cast: including the memory of their first enemy O'Malley in their first Medic while one of their friends wear one of their greatest enemy's armor into battle and their first AI they kept around for a while is someone they've known since the beginning who's saying goodbye. And the AI fragments are still apart of Epsilon/Church, he's still leaving parts of himself behind to let them know he's not really gone even after he says goodbye.
but imagine how'd they find out that Epsilon isn't with them anymore. As they rush into battle, everyone is surprised on how the armor is working without the AIs to work it but even forget about it as they start fighting.
And when Tucker gets in a jam, he calls for Epsilon/Church, but it's Delta or some other AI to assist him. After they're done with the battle, tired and bleeding, the AIs play the recording of Church's goodbye speech.
They all react in their own way, grieving.
but then Grif looks up and says, "Who's going to tell Carolina?"
Damn son.
Christ man, that’s honestly something I want to see. The ultimate try not to cry challenge
Me realizing that Church is literally just a second AI dad to Carolina: and she lost a dad twice? weird
@@james737er to be honest, Carolina wouldn't have just lost her dad twice. She would have also lost a brother at the same time.

Well.. On one side, Epsilon & Church as we know it is gone. However, Epsilon technically still lives, just he doesnt have any of his memories. But remember he was basically given memories by Caboose in S7. Who says they cant do it again?
Church isn't Epsilon, he's Alpha, but he didn't just get rid of his memories... He deconstructed himself, meaning? He's gone for good.
Adam Reasor
My fair guess is that he deconstructed himself to get different fragments independent. Since only frame of reference he has is how Alpha split, its fair estimation that he does it in same way. Meaning there will be epsilon-epsilon, who lacks memories
But Epsilon is the AI who's supposed to have Alpha's memories, if that was the case, wouldn't Epsilon have Church's memories? By Epsilon I mean the new Epsilon if your theory is correct.
Adam Reasor
Not exactly. Its difficult for me to explain what i mean, but i'll try.
See, Epsilon was indeed the memory, it contained all the memories, but it wasnt just memory storage. It being memory unit allowed it to have capacity to form memories & become independent personality of its own, not limited to logic or creativity like other fragments.
Think of it like person getting amnesia- what makes person who it is is still there, core, but memories are gone
Epsilon may have been a memory of a man, based on a man...but that memory will always be remembered. As Delta once said, "Memory is the key." And you know what? That's damn right.
I’d say he was more human than his creator

All hail the hypnotic toad!
Run it back 1 last time
Just needed it watch this today. RT was my Childhood, and while they may not have always been the best, they are one of the heroes in my story, and I'm sad to see them go.
Its funny, I remember for my Theater class, they wanted us to tell a speech that is inspiring or something in that area, and we did that twice, and both of mine were from this series. One was Sarge when he went after Carolina and church to the abandon location for the director, and this one.
what an absolute legend. we will never let people forget this show ever
Funny enough back in highschool I did the same thing. Grade 10 theatre class the teacher wanted us to recite a speech we held dear to work on vocal control and I did Church's speech about reliving memories when he went into the containment unit after Tex.
"name a character that has went through more pain than her I'll wait"
Me:
I’m here after the announcement of the closure of Rooster Teeth literally in tears. So many memories associated with the show and this episode… this was the end of Red vs Blue, kinda the end of Rooster Teeth… I’m happy to have shared this experience with you all over the years. I love you all.
Goodbye Sarge and Doc.
The reason that I'm now currently laying on my couch, wiping tears from my burning cheeks, sniffling snot so I can breathe, is because these two teams...they hated each other in the beginning. They were "supposed" to be enemies. When I watched the first season I though this was just going to be a comedy show, but it developed in to so much more. This ending shows how far these two teams has gone. It shows how much they have been through and it shows the REAL power of friendships. The ones that are built on trust and belief in one another. It shows how strong the bond between a team can be. That these two teams who were set to hate each other, are now best friends. They're a family. They fight together and they stand together. As. A. Team. It absolutely crushes me imagining their reactions (especially Tucker & CABOOSE) knowing that Church is gone. They have been through the worst shit together and yet, this ending is so powerful at capturing who they have really become. This show, reveals that no matter what situation you are in, no matter how hard the opponent is, no matter if you're an inch from death, as long as you have your friends, your family by your side. Then you don't have a single thing to worry about.
This is a perfect summary of this scene
Finally a comment talking about how the Red's and Blue's have come together, instead of just exploiting peoples tears and nostalgia. well said
and we'll, ain't that a bitch
If the freelancers had that kind of trust between them, they would have been unstoppable.
It's like the councillor said: they had what their agents could never achieve, complete and total trust in each other
Church's speech really hit deep, perhaps this can also be a lesson for us all, this show was one of my favorites.
Church's final statement about heroic sacrifices makes me think about the scene in Reach where Jorge sacrifices himself to destroy the supercarrier, but ultimately doesn't stop Reach from being destroyed.
Like Carter said, "He just gave his life thinking he'd saved the planet. We should all be so lucky."
Not me crying at 5 am 10 years later as my childhood shuts down after having spent the last decade watching it become a perversion of itself.
Rest in peace, Rooster Teeth. You were something sick and twisted at the end, but.... you also wrote my childhood. Thank you for living long enough to become the villain. Before you guys go, i only have one more question for you:
Do you ever wonder why we're here?
This hits different after restoration. Love ya Doc.😢😢😢
This is the best written speech of any series I have ever heard or seen in my entire life.
And with today, Roosterteeth drew its last breath… Thank you, RT, for giving us what you did.
Glad im not the only one going through the feels with the recent news...
This hit so much harder after the closing news…
This kinda feels like foreshadowing to Burnie leaving the company. He gradually phased out, and in advance Church was gradually phased out. "Loved my time here, but it's time to go. I'd like to think I left you with the pieces to continue. Goodbye."
This hits different after the news came out today of Rooster Teeth shutting down. We're gonna miss you Rooster Teeth. Well see if this supposed final season of RvB ever comes out. I guess we'll just "Have to have faith... Ain't that a bitch."
This is the second time I cried from a movie or a show. Ever
Most sad scene ever, of all time
This should have been it. Everyone had matured, grown close, and became a family. Church found what he wanted, a home he wanted to go back to. Tucker had become the leader he was always capable of being. Sarge came to respect his men. Caboose finally got his friend he always wanted. Washington was finally respected for the skills he knew he had. Carolina got her closure. Griff and Simmons were finally friends and soldiers to be respected.
But corporate greed is stronger than a happy ending.
After the latest announcement, I’m happy I still had faith. Can’t wait for the true finale.
well said.
Amen
This speech echoes everyone's feelings after Rooster Teeth's closing. As a fan since season 3 it really is a bitch to see it end
Rooster Teeth… it’s been an honor.
This is where Red vs Blue should have ended. It would've been perfect. I have refused to watch it sense this scene and erveryone tells me I'm lucky I didn't. The true and best ending. Glad I got to see this show come to such a spectacular end. RIP Church. This is why we're here.
Seasons 14 and 17 were really good.
The beauty of Church/epsilon’s speech is that he’s saying thank you to his friends who gave him freedom. They were the ones who pushed him to become better, and they were his true friends, the true family that his previous self didn’t have.
With him being the literal Ai of memory, the problem he had was that he was being held back in the past. And now, to truly say his feelings to his friends. He can now let go of the past and be free. sadly, the only freedom for church was Death, but he never feared death to the very end.
What a god damn legend
And for even more info, him saying to his friends of trying to let them understand why he has to go. Is his way to also not have anyone make the same mistake he did, so no one feels this pain anymore. Ensuring to keep people safe like he always did.
Thanks for all the great memories to whoever worked in the golden days of Red vs Blue! Cruising down Blood Gulch avenue forever!
"Don't say goodbyes, I hate goodbyes, after all, we tough space marines, right?"
We should maintain some level of...credibility.
We all know why we're back here.
This hit's harder now that Rooster Teeth is being shut down, RvB was a big part of my childhood and seeing RvB's final season being in limbo and Rooster Teeth shutting down is quite sad and I'll never forget what Burnie Burns left behind.
Back after seeing the news,
One last run
To restore what was lost
o7, it's been honor boys. Rooster Teeth will live on in our hearts.
"They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference, they'll never know if the day was saved"
*Flashbacks of reach*
the moment I heard him sigh in the beginning, my heart dropped.
and the moment I saw him flicker, I cried.
Thank you for all the memories, laughs, and good times, Rooster Teeth. Without your videos there to relieve some stress and get me through those long nights, I don't know if I would've made it to where I am today.
Maaaaarrk Nuuuuttt!!
This is the true end of RvB, and no one will convince me otherwise. Seeing a bunch of idiots and assholes gradually growing a bond to the point where they can be considered a family, albeit a dysfunctional one but still a family. Now faced with the likely possibility of death they face towards death together as a team more close then any team a professional army could mold.
Nothing will ever surpass this scene. Whether the Reds and Blues made it out alive or died actually doesn't matter. You can choose to have faith they made it out, or believe this is the best goodbye to these beloved characters. The choice is left to the audience, not the studio, and that's why this is so good.
Frankly, the following seasons just couldn't live up to the greatness the first 13 season progressively gave us so to me there's no point for the show to go on besides making money, but when one puts money over passion the story always fails. If you truly love this series and respect it's characters. This is the perfect place to stop
I completely agree.
Man this speech hits different now
Only the real one will come back to see this and ready to cry for the finale of Red vs Blue 😭
This moment was the end of Rooster Teeth
I almost cant believe we're back. Burnie is fixing this. Matt is fixing this. It's happening boys. Maybe Church can do it.
Maybe. But what will become of Caboose without his VA?
@@durandolmaybe Ai
@HeadShot-kl8us
Caboose gets shot in the throat, so Freckles now speaks for him
don't say goodbye I hates goodbyes
don't say goodbye, he's not really gone he's just ........ not here right now
+Jacob Hunnicutt tex rlly needs to be brought back. that will spice up season 14
+bobby winicher Season 14 won't be happening. The creator died and his cast finnished season 13 in his memeory
Misterrockgaming ur dum as fuck lemme tell you how fukin stupid you sound 1) monte omen died yes but he was not the originator of rvb he did not take part till like season 7 about so there you already fucked up. 2) monty's show rwby is still going. he created it yet nothing of season 3 of rwby is of his work. #) rt would not stop rvb because of the fight scean animator dying, because rvb is rooster teeth, without rvb rooster teeth will shurly die out. so before you say some bs think net time boi
bobby winicher Can you retype this please. I cant read it. I only speak enlglish.
Man crazy how an episode called "The End" isn't actually the end of a series.
Think of it this way, it was the end of Epsilon, not the series
@@SQUIDBEARSTUDIO I don’t disagree, zero is a good reminder that all good things SHOULD come to an end
Stopped watching after this season and I’m glad I did after what I know this series becomes lol, this is when it should have ended and I don’t think many disagree.
And we back. Season 19
Goodbye RvB, goodbye RT. Thank you
out of the whole show... the two scenes that hit me emotionally was this, and when church and Carolina found the director. I want more endings like that.👌
+Malik Lindo Yeah when the director committed suicide and shut off the facility and all the AI's than church sacrifices himself
I felt sad but nothing gets me
Malik Lindo omg yes the director scene hit me the hardest especially since it’s when I found out they were father and daughter and Tex was Carolina’s mom
yeah but they probably wont make any other good things in this show cause the last couple seasons were prtty bad
This is when RVB truly ended. In a way I’m glad Rooster Teeth is gone, at least now it can live in my memories
Hey RoosterTeeth,
If you do get a chance by reading this, you guys did it...
You guys finally came along way since from the very beginning in 2003...
You guys have evolved from Ever wondering Why Are We Here? to our explanation culture phomention to our lives...
From Achievement Hunter to Let's Play, Versus, Go!, Ray departures, Between The Games, Minecraft, CHEESE, Gavin kept on losing and winning, screw things up that kept me laughing, Fan-mails and the rest you already know...
But let sometimes, they'll always Controversies on the Internet, departures of Ray and Ryan's offscreen departure that let Jack and Michael depressed and tears, people moved on from RoosterTeeth despite some dark and unoffical secrets that spread on Twitter, UA-cam and Communities and Geoff's heartbreaking words to this announcement of the closure...
We (meaning I) would wish there was another way, we would have helped you guys to carry your touch till the very end...
I would've have help you guys to kept on entertaining the fans alike (despite they calling it Woke on RYWB and the rest)
(Chuckles)
It was in fact, Burnie's Idea, he have made his Church's final departure words has really inspire me, when the time is right, I would have made this choice as well, create your own team, bring your bunch of friends (who which, you haven't seen them for a long time), work as a team, follow your dreams, dedicated fans and communities will have their points of view, criticize our issues, we'll fix the problems, create new things and kept on changing to entertain our people, fans or maybe yet, everyone around the world with the power of laughter, tears, smile, falling in love, have a family and everyone lives happily ever after.
But for sooner or later, the Rooster finally learns how to fly, the smile turns to sadness, and the Teeth would never laugh again...
Always hide our tears within our eyes and watching our childhood and our success flies away and ended with our waves goodbye to our beloved years of success 👋
And in the end, we have accept for only one thing...
*Ain't that a b*tch!*
RoosterTeeth
2003 - 2024
This would have been the perfect ending to RVB
To me this is the ending of rvb it was a beautiful end come full circle with all the characters developed fully and a foreshadowing of rt coming to a end re watching this and looking back we can see the decline of rt but man it was a hell of a ride I didn't realize how much rt was a part of my life and I'm sad to see it go but in the end I guess we just gotta have faith ain't that a bitch
Its still technically the ending; everything after is just epsilon simulating things; even restoration is a simutation.
@@PromptHorizon12
What? No restoration was the ending.
@@ed_Skynight Wrong , its heavily hinted that revelation also a simulation. Even recording epsilon was talking to the reds while refering to caboose and i quote " I don't even think i got cabooses voice right this time around".
*Insert every feel here*
***** Hi
***** xDDDDD
***** Im alright, not good, not bad. How are you?
EVERY feel?
That's a lot of feels.
There are too many for all of us to list. UA-cam would crash
I remember shedding a couple tears when I first saw this, I can't say that about many characters....I'll miss you church. You were truly my favorite.
i truly felt like i lost a friend as i watched since the release of the first episode and when he shattered i felt several tears roll down my cheek.
Don't mourn him because he's gone... Celebrate that he was here and honour what he fought and died for.
He sacrificed so we wouldn't have to.
The best part about this clip is that neither of the badass freelancers were anywhere nearby. This was just the original group of guys that started in that box canyon in the middle of nowhere, and it was Tucker that got to wear the amazing suit and be the badass who I can only assume killed most of Charon's forces. Church gave his life to allow his best friend be the badass he always deserved to be. In this moment they weren't Reds and Blues, they were a family.... In the immortal words of the Epsilon unit Church, "Ain't that a bitch"
That speech hits so much harder after watching Restoration.
