Jessica, thank you SO MUCH for the tip on cone 5 vs. cone 6 using the cherry blossom. I was SO DISAPPOINTED in Cherry Blossom at cone 6. I was searching for that answer today and couldn't find it and then you said it in this video! Kismet!

I'm glad you found the answer you needed. Firing at cone 5 makes a huge difference!

I am watching this video with my 4-year-old daughter. She just about had a conniption yelling "Not on the bottom!" When you glazed the first piece.

How do you know which glazes “run”? Very new to this

Saffire blue and ancient copper is a great combo. If you want a nice blister or the ancient copper fire it almost to a cone 7. It’s fabulous. Also it’s really hard to understand what you said you used with the chiller two part piece. I know it’s the Smokey merlot on top, but not sure about the bottom. It sounds like ohlawn but maybe I’m deaf.

Is the glaze sold by Amaco in the 25lb dry bags the same as the glaze in the jugs and bottles? - all brush glazes or is the dry bagged made for dunking? Thanks W.

I recently discovered that layering some amaco glazes can change the chemistry which could potentially make the pot unsafe for food consumption. This concern is primarily for the inside of pots and not the outside.

Can you explain what blue glaze combo were used on the mug that is pictured on the front page of this video. I watched the entire video and it wasn’t in it. Very misleading.

The glaze from the image are Amaco storm celadon with amaco Seaweed on the rim.

The video provided good information but at the same time a lot of irritating irrevelant chatter.
