Great video. Could you perhaps share one with the underside of the tent? I'm always wanting to see the underside of the tent/frame to see how to do a direct hard mount to a topper, but for someone reason this is hard to find.
I have a tradies trailer I am outfitting to be our camper so it’s build to our needs. Been looking at RTT’s for a while and the 4 person is a great setup just need to mod the trailers racks a little to make sure all site correctly
Hi Adam, Why the tent swap from the Yowie to the Saber? on paper the Yowie looks better. Its lighter and has more sleeping area and opens to the side so it doesn't interfere with the tailgate access. Just asking because i am about to purchase tub racks and a tent. Thanks
Hey, was giving this one a test for the cape trip, trying out a slightly different setup. Different style tents, both great in their own way and quality top notch, really depends on what you're after I think.
For the cape york trip we had the 23zero sleeping bags on top and slept that way and was fine. I think similar to most RTT is always the balance between thickness and tent compactness! Couldn't leave our pillows in there but maybe you could without the sleeping bags
Hey mate just wanting to ask how you managed to get this fitted on top of the canopy? I’d love one of these but got told by the 4x4 store it wouldn’t fit my canopy and cross racks as it’s too long? Have a ford ranger but have seen heaps of people with these
Nice video on the setup and closing of the tent...what is the price of one these rooftops and are they easy to install or do u need professionals to install them...
Checkout their website (linked in description) and yep easy to install, very similar to the Yowie install - have a vid on exactly this on the UA-cam channel ua-cam.com/video/qZ31Xuuk1u8/v-deo.html
Thanks for your video mate. How have you mounted the tent on the platform rack? Does it have the T slots on the bottom of the tent like the normal Saber does?
Think another con is the tent doors zip up so u have to climb over the doors and midge screen. These tent builders should just stick to tents zippers that zip down so one doesnt need to climb over the doors . Nice tent. 😊
I like the down to up zipping. This way if it's pouring rain and windy you can still have the window open partially. If it zipped down, you would have to have it fully closed to prevent water intrusion.
Thanks for checking it out, you can see the rest of the Trip Ready Reviews here: ua-cam.com/play/PLloptHW8MGGhKispUCQSn0i6Fh6DW_ul2.html

Great review again, would be great if they do a side open for this model !!
Cheers! You can get into it from all 3 sides do you mean?
How does it go a year on?
Cant see it on in your latest videos :)
Yeh that's cool product!
Hey mate. What’s it like in windy conditions?
Yeah has a bit of weather up (wind, rain) on the cape trip and went well, walls are nice and taunt so no flapping or anything like that

Thank you@@VideoShowMeHow
Honestly, how is the mattress? Is 50mm enough. Can you upgrade it if needed, ie still close the tent. Can you leave pillows in?

Hi Adam great video im buying one of the RTT you have reviewed have you had any dust issues with the yowie
Nope all good, I just keep windows zipped up in transit 👍
Thanks for your video mate. How have you mounted the tent on the platform rack? Does it have the T slots on the bottom of the tent like the normal Saber does?
yep sure does. I hard mounted this to the canopy in this instance but could mount like an normal RTT via the t-slots etc
@@VideoShowMeHowcould be an option with my canopy to do the same. Thanks!!

Nice tent. 😊
Yeah good point, top down would be great

Could you keep your pillows in there on trips?
Possibly, I kept 2x sleeping bags up there
I like it but is like isn't have mosquito mash?
Mosquito mesh? Yeah the mesh is very fine, had no issues with midges etc when on the Cape Trip
I see the price on there website I’m interested in this model , is that price AUD or US thanks 👋
AUD, but can check-out the US site 23zero.com
Most important question: Is that a orange mocha frappuccino on the tailgate?!
😂
Why are you wearing latex gloves?
