- How to fit a new drive belt to Nordic track C2000 or C2500 treadmill. These machines use a special type of drive belt that appears too small to fit unless you know how to do it ;)

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! The only video that actually shows how to get an extremely tight belt on!!!!!!!
Genius. I have struggled with this for years and was dreading when I heard the flapping of a tearing drive belt. This made the job super easy.
I would love to see these videos include the part of the disassembly where you life the front hood off. Sort of like starting an open heart surgery video after you already have the heart out.
Thank you so much! I lost time as to how long it was taking me, definitely more than 2 hours. Then after watching this video, it took me like 30 seconds.
Appreciate your feedback. Glad you found it helpful
This vid saved my DIY spirit. It worked!
Thanks for sharing!👏
Thank you very much! This video was of great help; I initially thought the belt I bought was too short.
This video just saved me $200. I cannot say thank you enough!
nicely done - this helped get my drivebelt on in no time. Thanks
Thanks. This is very helpful.
Is there a visual on how to get the "first part" done - the part that was done before this video starts.
Thank you 🙏🏿
Could you explain how to actually remove the initial belt? I’m having a hard time figuring out how to get to the point of replacing it like you show in the video.
This is all nice & good, but I want to see how you got that belt over the track pulley. That is the problem for me..I want to know what I have to disconnect if anything. Also, could you not just loosen those 2 motor nuts to let the motor inch a bit closer to the track, instead of risking damage to the plastic track pulley?
What he said ^
I’d call the track pulley the driven pulley or the rolling pin assembly but either way didn’t you have to remove a bolt from the rolling pin in order to put the belt on in?
While it was off couldnt you just get the belt on and set then?
How did you get the new belt on the roller? That's the hard part.
Omg!!! Thank you !!!
How can you tell if an existing belt is bad ? I think mine is shot as I can see it slipping on the roller when you stand on belt
Great question - this photo shows an extreme example of a worn belt. You may see cracks indicating the rubber is perishing and you may see the grooves opening up as the rubber wears away. This is often accompanied by rubber deposits directly beneath the drive belt accumulated on the frame. If you're not sure then replace it anyway as it is a low cost item and you can expect it to wear out!

how do you open up the front compartment to begin with?
Sadly not much help. The hard part is getting the new belt inside the housing - not shown here.
Mine won't even reach when rapped around both. I can't get this flippin thing back on.
I accidentally put oil on drive belt what should I do now to remove oil from drive belt.
Can we replace 1.8 HP .motor with 2.5 hp with no problem
where can I buy a new belt
But you already have the belt on the 1st part-that is the hard part!
I was looking for the same thing. He said he already got it on the machine but how did he do that? Did you figure it out?
I had to remove both fixed front roller screws and loosen the walking belt from the back to move the roller and get the belt over it. I also could not get the belt on with the screw driver like the video so I lossened one and removed the closest motor screws. Then I picked up a longer version of the motor screw to I could screw it back tight from farther away.
Thanks Robert. Appreciate it.
