absolutely great vid👌I am a gym equipment technician speaking from experience and I have found Nordic Track to be an absolute pain in the ass to work on in comparison to many other brand's
A guide with Chapters?! Appreciate you making this video for all of us. I've got an old C900 that's still going k bought it from an elderly home estate sale, not very used though 10 years old) and I'll need to replace the belt soon enough. Thanks!
Video was very helpful, thank you! Are you able to tell me how to remove the motor cover from an EXP 2000i? The screws are on the underside of the bottom half of the motor cover and recessed up into the cover an inch or so and then there are two on the front on the top half of the cover but they screw in from underneath cover and it is almost impossible to see/ or get enough torque on them because all 4 are so close to the floor. Thanks in advance.
Well I don’t have one on the 2000i . The closest thing I have is removing treadmill motor hood. Sometimes you even have to lay the unit on it’s side to get too the screws you are talking about. Also on your rear roller this is hard. You do need to replace the floating spacers on the sides The roller is mounted inside the belt. And the end cap kinda pops in or on
@@FitnessTechnologyServices ok thanks. I would have thought there would have been one for manufacturing process. What setting would you suggest? They do not seem to be very tight
@@radishpea6615 I just tighten them up no set standard. So far never been a issue . You would think there would be some standard. But I can’t think of it being mentioned in any factory training?
Well I have a couple of videos on Nordic Track . Or any rear roller change video. But some of the Nordic Track have hidden screw under the rear levelers
It is a little different on how the side rails are removed on newer models the side rails are screwed in from under the deck . The rest should be the same
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thanks for replying. I did the belt. I took the walking board off but found the belt ran under a metal bar. I assumed this was wrong but found when reassembled the bar pressed up against the walking board on the underside therefore the belt wouldn't move. So I put it back the way it was before and adjusted the tracking. My belt though will walk to the left and then return to its original position. It doesn't rub but the gap does vary either side. Is that worn rollers? Or normal. Cheers
@@captainbuggernut9565 Hmmm does it shift if you run it with no one on it? If the rollers are bad I would think it would. Did you get the factory belt! If not check it for lube Icon products normally come well lube. And a lot of others you have to apply your self
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thanks for replying. I got a belt from euro treadmills the only place that I could find that did one. They are made to order. I bought a 2ply belt which is lubed already. Yes it does move to the left and return with no one on it. You don't notice it when in use. Do the actual rollers go out of round or is it bearing wear.
Well if it is this model it is 15 years old not a lot of other parts available I would think the factory belt would be fine . We can have one made if you can’t find one. But no matter what it’s hard to get more than 10 years out of any belt
@@RudyHernandes well it can be but with Nordic Track it could also be the motor belt. I would need your full model number to get your size belt. I do have a video on sole walk belt slipping and what to look for. Send me your serial number to Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com I can look it up
On Nordic Track units if you are using a factory belt! Maybe not check under the walking belt in two weeks. If it feels wet then no ! Check it again in 2 months . May need lube then ! Basic rule should always be slick feeling. Please subscribe Dave
Thank you so much. I changed my belt last night with no issues I really appreciate you putting this together to help us all out.
Thank you!
Always my pleasure !

@@jaydenjd Well thank you!! If you are a commercial technician then yes for sure commercial units are designed for repair. Home units well not so much
Thanks much! Walked me right through a successful belt change. I appreciate your help.
Always my pleasure glad I could help!
Very good video with real time visual. Thank you, sir.
@@jackstevens555 Thank you I am glad it helped.

Well thank you (you are right I really need to organize my videos, plucks my nerves too)
I just have to figure out how.

Thank you! What size allen tool for the large black bolts on the back?
Well you are welcome !but it depends on what size rear roller is used most smaller Nordic use 3/16 but it can vary
what torque settings did you tighten the deck bolts to?
Well to be honest no torque standard has been established on Nordic Track deck screw

Hello, I'm wondering if you can give me some ideas on how to remove the front roller on a Nordictrack commercial 1500 model #09707.4
Well I have a couple of videos on Nordic Track . Or any rear roller change video. But some of the Nordic Track have hidden screw under the rear levelers
I have a 2013 nordictrack c900 assume this is similar?
Thank you for taking the time to share this information.
It is a little different on how the side rails are removed on newer models the side rails are screwed in from under the deck . The rest should be the same
Cheers for this im doing this tomorrow on a reebok treadmill which I bought used but needed a new belt. Hopefully it's fairly similar.
It’s pretty close. I also have video on sole and horizon . If you want more ideas

Oh and if your model comes with a support it is supposed to support the deck. And belt hangs under

Any suggestions on the best replacement walking belt for this model? TIA 🙂

How do I know what size belt I need if it’s a T5.3?
Also is the belt the reason my treadmill skips and doesn’t move smooth

A Hanes man, high quality all around 😉
Good video. I’m doing mine tomorrow
Awesome I hope it helps.
How long should I walk on a treadmill to see results?
If the belt is staying center for a 5 minutes walk it should be ok
Thanks for the Turorial ;)
You are so welcome
