Hello 🤗 Thank you so much for joining me on the mat today! How did this practice feel in your body? Any interesting sensations - thoughts, feelings, emotions? You can explore more somatic yoga practices with me here: ua-cam.com/play/PLftdoo4RFfAqVpHLqJiWKmA9eWdcyr2MB.html I encourage you to return to this routine as often as it feels like a kind gesture to your mind and body. The brain appreciates repetition. This can help build new neural pathways, which can be so useful for creating new movement patterns that can lead to less muscular tension, stiffness, aches and pains. I hope that you have an amazing day! 🙏💕

Thanks! I am breathing slower now. It's hard for me to scan for areas of discomfort. My mind has an idea of areas of discomfort and there are wanted posters and a manhunt. Hard to start from scratch and have an organic non biased scan.
Hi Tristan! You're so welcome 🤗 Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and observations with me. I can resonate with what you're saying regarding a non-biased body scan. It can be easy to gravitate towards the areas of known discomfort in the body especially if they show up throughout your day to day. The mind can easily wander back to those areas as it's a known path. One practice that really helped me with this was to explore a gentle scan of my body from my toes to my head, only spending a few seconds on each part. This helped me turn down the volume on the "thinking" part of my mind so that I could be present in my body with the sensations. As always, I appreciate your thoughts and feedback! Enjoy the rest of your day! Take care 🙏🤗
