There are no words to describe what a Helmet show does to a person. My brother and I went to Chicago in 2014 to see them play "Betty" all the way through, then they played "Strap It On" in its entirety after that. They finished with "Meantime" and "Milquetoast" (I think) and we felt like we had been completely fucking annihilated by a rock show in the best possible way.
He hits the right notes more often now. He was never really a "singer" but his pitch has become better over the years. I remember seeing them in '97 and they were incredible but Page had trouble hitting the right notes with his voice.
My son and I went to the Melbourne show of this tour, been listening to their cds for ages but wasn't prepared for them live. After the concert I felt like I'd been bashed up and couldn't hear for a week and I had ear plugs in. Can't wait to see them again. I live in Tasmania and they were due to play there early 2020, fucking covid.
Thanks for the upload. Saw this show when it passed through London at the Islington O2. There were 10 very happy faces on the tube afterwards. Now we can relive it again.
Love the Mudhoney reference between sets. Would that those two bands would tour together-probably two of the most seminal bands from that era that everyone rips off without giving due credit.
I was at this show and thought they were brilliant as usual. I honestly felt bad for Page when he was venting about his marriage breakdown and was told to get over it by some dick in the crowd. Betty is my all time favourite album!
I just saw helmet this past Friday here in New Jersey and the setlist was terrible. It did only one song from meantime and only one from Betty. The rest was new stuff. Unbelievable. Ignored their most popular material. This is the setlist I was hoping to have received......
Helmet - one of the most underrated bands ever.
You are prong about that.

The best 90`s band ever and one of the best of all times IMHO.
Page still moves and playes the same way he did in '94! Awesome!

Milquetoast. No matter what key it's played in, it's always amazing. Especially after "What you've heard".
Great video! Helmet will live forever!! Saw them with Ministry and Sepultura in SF back in the 90s!
That's quite a long & impressive set list.

Just once I wish they would play the vinyl version of Betty and include Flushings, Thick and Pariah.
Wow a band that tours in Australia
Saw them in '94...fantastic show...even here, still some of the most vicious riffing EVER.
