I think people are a little too freaked out by Frenzy. Yes, gunline teams can't kill them in a single round of shooting but Frenzy really only lets you be killy. You cant tap objectives, you cant really control objectives because you die at the end of your activation. Its basically "shoot them, then they either charge you and hit you once in combat and die or they just... fall down in a few minutes anyway". In other words, shooting them still prevents them from playing the objectives just like it prevents any team from playing the objectives. It's not immortality, its just... they get to fight on death. That said, they still look strong and dangerous as hell and very cool. excited to see them get some play.
I arbitrarily got into the game last week as i thought the miniatures would be fun to paint, and decided to buy the fellgor ravagers and the gellerpox Infected, this is a great resource for someone who doesn't really know how to read everything as the terms are confusing as someone who hasn't played yet, thank you!

I feel there’s counters into them (HoA can injure them regardless with poison, whilst they can guarantee Crits in combat, whilst khorne legionary with their guaranteed crit in combat), just a shame exaction can’t negate brutal as they would be a great counter too.
You're incorrect in both cases. Warpaint prevents the movement reduction from being injured, not injury itself. They can still be poisoned, but they're going to ignore the movement reduction with their equipment. Khorne legionaries strike with a normal hit as if it were a crit, it is not a crit, and a judge would say that it does not count based on the wording, so you still have to strike twice. Furthermore, these guys entirely counter Hand of the Archon out of the game. Unless incapacitated in melee during frenzy, they negate the generation of pain tokens since they're being incapacitated by the effect of frenzy, not by the HoA operatives actions.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned here or by Glass Half Dead is that if you kill a Beastman during its activation, it is done for. See, the frenzy token disappears at the end of its activation. If I kill it on Overwatch, or my duelist parries and kills it, or it blows itself up on one of my mines, it will still finish its activation, but then it is removed from play. The other thing I see is the importance of stun. If you can stun it when you kill it, it won't have much to do during its next activation. (EDIT: Didn't realize warpaint ignores stun. That line needs to go.)
all shooty hordes shout loudly how broken this Frenzy is :D that they will have issues putting the beastmen down :D and making them stay down ... poor them
@@michaelanderson6726 Yes indeed it does, but for melee teams it is something to work with, and usually it is the shooty hordes who have close to none options how to deal with frenzied warpainted goats ;)
Kasrkins don't mind them with their garanteed Crit on melee with their elite point. Il the meantime, just stun a frenzied goat and watch it be useless. To me they look like a gotcha/on trick Pony team : play them "normaly" and get wercked, learn to counter them and there is a real game.

The Beastmen box will be out again, presumably, but if it’s at all popular, it will be very difficult to get, just like Exaction Team and Kasarkin are now. Perennially sold out. The terrain, another limited run, online only like the Soulshackle terrain, which came out Saturday and sold out by Sunday.
I was merely responding to someones confusion about reviewing this team because this specific box configuration is sold out. This team, as I said, will not be sold out forever. Yall need to breathe, man. It'll be ok.
@Chops - not actually angry, I didn’t actually want this box at all. I have three sets of the ITD basic walls already and probably don’t need a fourth 😀. I do feel bad for the people who really did want the set, and may not be able to afford to buy the components separately. It will add up to $240 just for the two teams, the special terrain sprue and the book. Also, there’s stuff on the horizon that I DO WANT, and the recent shortages don’t make me feel confident that other products will be available in sufficient quantities.

I understand the frustration of not getting a specific box you want when you want it. But you gotta kill the FOMO, man. In 6 months these teams are gonna be gathering dust at the back shelf of your FLGS and some dudes gonna be selling terrain sprues for a song on ebay.
Team seems utter broken on the paper, with warpaint they just simply ignore a lot of tactics to play against them and around frenzy. for 1 EP its bonkers good.
It is a shame that GW's newest kits have been massively underproduced. I hope they resolve their supply chain issues soon. Check your friendly local game store if you have one, some might still have boxes in stock.

Frenzy works in melee as well... so its not only a problem for shooty teams

Tac Op 1 is a lot more feasible for some operatives when you take Frenzy into account. Tac Op 3 is too difficult to pull off reliably.
The way it's written makes it seem as though they can't be incapacitated by shooting at all, or am I missing something?
