Noob question here: Why don't the Angels of Death have tokens like other teams (in the free PDF rules)? My Night Lords and Blooded have them, but it seems like a lot of other teams don't. Do you know why, or how it will play on the gaming table?

Can this also be applied the Grey Knights? I have been wanting to make a grey knights KT but i havent been sure or seen if their rules have been updated or anything has changed.

Going to miss the 2+ shooting on the Intercession sgt, however there's a lot of other elements to this new faction that compensate. Thanks Ryan for getting this out so soon.

I was expecting some opinions, tricks/tips/advice, maybe highlighting 3rd edition changes. Reading out the rules word-by-word is not very exciting.

As a Legionaries fanboy, I mourn the nerf of the Grisly Trophy.

I just want to paint these guys! Honestly they seem very strong. For champion, can you select a different operative every round, if so it’s a good choice. Will I main them? Honestly maybe… I’m thinking these bugs, Phobos or kommandos.

I don’t know why you didn’t mention new things (2d3 from fear), like what it was before, or that the gunners now can shoot 2 times, once from the main weapon, once from the bolter, making the balance ploy way better.

Looks like I will keep using Nemesis Claw, until I paint up one of the 2 new armies in Hivestorm. Definitely going to switch up some of the choices though - which I have struggled with! there's more choices than slots, so I have yet to try out the Ventrilokar, and really need to. Since we also can finally order the army, I'll be able to put one together :D Good coverage Ryan, Thank you!

As someone who is looking to jump into killteam with the new edition, really appreciate the breakdown with new players in mind!

Great catch on the different wording for the mines now Shane! They are so much stronger now that they stop movement! If they are treated as equipment, does that mean they stay on the killzone even if the Ironbraek is incapacitated? That would be really nice. Also, Tough Survivalists change is nice, although now if you're retaliating against an operative with a power weapon, you can't wait for a crit to reduce it like you could before, they can just strike with a normal first and then kill you with a crit on the second attack dice now. So a little bit of a sidegrade in that sense instead of a straight buff it looks like!

I really hate the design direction GW is taking this game. There's almost no shared language and concepts anymore with their bigger games. They're moving away from custom kill teams too. It's geared towards selling more cardboard ancillaries and equipment. Apparently it's not profitable enough to just keep it simple anymore.

Just got these to the painter. Definitely a team im looking forward to in this new edition. Thanks guys.

I might have missed it, but does the kit allow you to build 3x troopers + 1 of each specialist? (sans gun options) You mentioned the vespid kit built 1 of everything at 11 minis.

So everyone starts on a conceal order 1st TP and gets to choose to switch? That’s different to 2nd edition right?

Appreciate the review. I think the vantage point ploy is pretty good, you may not have a good one available, this just lets you shoot like you had one from anywhere.

CORRECTIONS: In the first shooting example, since the Vespid has a Conceal Order, it should have been able to retain a Critical Cover Save, or retain 2 Normal Cover Saves against the shooting attack. (Core Rulebook Pg. 60, 3rd Paragraph, 2nd Sentence.) Thanks @rdesmarais2 for pointing this out! All Operatives must start the game with a Conceal order, but you CAN change your order when you Activate Turning Point 1.

4th edition surely? Not sure if it's being called 3rd edition but this is the 4th version.

So, nobody can shoot in the first turning point since everyone is in conceal?

New player here - moving up the terrain feature you measured 3 inches from the floor to the edge of the platform but said that was 4 inches, why? Also why would I need 2 inches after that to stand on the platform, it seemed to be an inch inward from the measurement? Thanks for any help.

Great video ! Quick questions 1- the card park in box set is that enough for 2 players or does each need own set ? 2- are there cards for vespids or think not until released as team box ?

It's a good video but I'm not exactly clear what's happening in the first shooting phase example with the cover dice. My understanding is because the vespid has a conceal order and is in cover and is only targetable as a result of vantage, the vespid would get an improved cover save of a crit or two normals.
