I've invested in this as I believe in VR and the workout potential it holds.. But as a VR content creator, the constant head bobbing while walking is distracting for viewers - could the camera be more stabilized [kinda like what LIV does?].
Thank you for investing! The gameplay recording shows the player's view, and so head movement is a part of the recording. However, you could stabilize the gameplay footage using a video editor.
@@VirtuixOmni Good point for videos, but that doesn't help VR streams. Something like this may be the key, but it doesn't work with every game: ua-cam.com/video/LeUokHruNWo/v-deo.html
What happens when the chance to invest is over? Does my investment turn into stocks on the market that I can see increase in value after the 9 days left to invest?
My whole family went to Vegas and discovered Omni Arena. We had so much fun we researched the company and had to invest. Not paid to say this! I live in a very rural area with brutal winters. I need this so bad even if only to exercise.
Omni One isn’t available for general purchase yet, but we are shipping to investors in small volumes as part of our beta program. Investors in the US have the option of waiting until the final unit is available, or taking part in the beta program, which will likely last until Q4. When general sales begin, initially, Omni One will be available to consumers in North America, with the rest of the world to follow. We have a page where you can sign up to be notified as soon as pre-orders for Omni One start: omni.virtuix.com/.
We will have emulation software for PCVR games to help players who want to use other headsets and software platforms, but it likely won't work for games on closed platforms, such as the Quest or PSVR2. You could use a Quest as a PCVR headset with Omni One.
We wouldn't rule this out if there were sufficient demand, but if you are using a VR treadmill it is normally not with the intention of sitting - certainly not for an extended period.
They should build a fully functioning robot that's compatible with the controls. Could you imagine the possibilities? Just have to make sure people ain't robbing banks with them 😂
The introductory price is $2,595 (which includes the excellent Pico Neo 3 Pro headset), before any applicable discount to investors. Thank you for your interest!
If all these things werent that expensive and my room not that tiny… i would love to have something like this but i just cant pay for it. I gotta get a job with 15 years so i can get this…
Now the straps need haptic feedback so i can feel the bullets hit me while i play

The developer kit (i.e. the treadmill without the headset), will be available to investors for $1,595, before any applicable discounts.
Awesome! so excited on this product.
Let's go baby.
Does the treadmill aspect move, and what's the breaking limit on the crane thing?
The treadmill is passive (the base doesn't move). The player weight limit is 250lbs (113kg).
Imagine playing Dying Light 2 in this treadmill VR
That would be lit AF
Wish i wasnt broke 😭 would buy this so fast if i could afford it
will this work with shooters like contractors and sport games like big ballers?

INSANELY FUN
Does the game have to be programmed for it?
To make the best use of our hardware, yes, though we will have input emulation for SteamVR.
Вещь прикольная - надеюсь когда она станет доступна для всех - шлем будет более производительный !!!
What is the radius needed? Dont want to hit the walls.
It depends on your arm length - try leaning forward slightly with your arms outstretched while turning around.
This looks amazing, such a shame i cant buy it in New Zealand 😢
Any chance of a seat module happening down the road?

Ready Player One, here we come I guess

The price will come down eventually. The Atari VCS was $190 when it was released back in '77. That's almost $1000 in today's USD.
