Hey o, Congrats on the new machine! Some tips: Get to know the machine. Play round with available functions. Set your grind right: Finer for espresso and coarser for longer coffees. Keep the milk system clean for best performance and hygiene. Empty used grinds when the machine is on - otherwise it does not know you've done that. Use a water filter - if you do you will never have to descale! Perform cleaning maintenance when the machine alerts to do so. Hope that helps! Marc
Hi n, thanks for the question. The Pro 700 is not considered a commercial machine. It's not NSF rated or similar so would depend on your local regulations.
Hi b, The GIGA 10 is essentially a Z10 with 2 bean hoppers each with its own grinder. You can each have your own coffee or maybe load one with decaf beans for full or half cafs etc. If you're both happy with the same beans all the time and don't want to do mixes from 2 bean types then no compelling reason.. Marc
Thanks Marc. I had *just* places an order for the z10 from you guys and started to have buyers remorse wether I should have gone the full monty and done rhe giga 10. We do a lot of half decalf; just deciding if the extra spend is worth the concenience
@@borgon23 My pleasure and thanks for your patronage! So if you decide you'd rather have the GIGA10 even after using Z10 you can return at your expense within 30 days and there's no restocking fee if you go with the GIGA10. Marc
that’s great to know. last question: does the giga being a dual boiler add any significant advantage for a small household? I’m under the impression that useful if a lot of drinks are being made in short order
@@borgon23 With the 2 boilers it's a little faster when making milk drinks which deliver milk and coffee separately to a drink. The marquee advantage of 2 boilers is parallel milk and coffee prep. It's used by a few of the milk drinks and makes those very quickly as espresso/coffee and milk are delivered to the cup simultaneously.
I love the channel, thank you. Are these machines really reliable? How long are they expected to last? Happy to buy one, I've just been really disappointed buying stuff from Sage and throwing it away quite quickly. Thanks!
I don't understand why the consistency of grind is a global setting. I think it would make more sense to make this configurable per type of drink. Cold brew needs a coarse grind, why do I need to dedicate one of my grinders to this?
I don't get Jura's design choice with the Giga 10 on the milk system. The Giga 6 could make two milk based drinks at the same time. The Giga 10 cannot. A step in the wrong direction IMO. The Giga series are supposed to be high capacity workhorses. Why then cut the output in half on milk based drinks?? This is little more than a Z10 with a second grinder.
The best overview I seen on the Giga10 THANK YOU!
Hey life, thanks for the comment!
Thank You for All that you are doing for our Planet Earth.... Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. Namaste 🙏🏻 😊 🌈 ✌ ☮ ❤
Please, it is possible to set the volume of coffee in milliliters?
Hi j, no it is not the GIGA 10 uses cup sizes for volumes XS/S/M/L/XL/XXL
Very comprehensive.. Excellent..
Waiting for mine, any tips and tricks

Thanks, I hope it will arrive this week. 😊
Hi, can you share the details on the rotatable base you have the giga 10 sitting on?
Thank you.
Hi a, Yes, it's a 16" lazy Susan. Not an accessory we carry or specifically designed to go with the machine.
How do I change the center displays selection. For the life of me I haven’t been able to change it
I have been cleaning my Jura with 1/4 of a dishwasher tablet. Works perfect and costs next to nothing.
I might've missed it, but does the glass container/milk system come with the Giga 10? Thanks for your videos!
Hi gb, You are welcome for the videos! The glass milk container does not come with the machine.
Thank you for the fantastic video. I have a question if you can answer me, can I use profetec pro 700 for commercial use?
Hi n, thanks for the question. The Pro 700 is not considered a commercial machine. It's not NSF rated or similar so would depend on your local regulations.
Best is Sage oracle touch
How can I force the machine to make 600 ml latte macchiato without using JOE app?
Hi TZ, I believe the max size for a latte macchiatto is ~450ml using the XXL setting on the machine.
for a small house- just two coffee drinkers - would there be a compelling reason to go with this over a Z10?

Can you temporarily override a grind setting for one cup?
What coffee pot are you using? Making sure I get one that is the appropriate size for the "pot of coffee". Thank you in advance!

It can be done to each type of drink separately
Can you tell me what lazy Susan nick was using to spin it around so easily?
Hi Sylvia, Lazy Susan is from brand LapWorks available on the Amazon.
