small correction, you CAN'T brew two milk based drinks at the same time, it is in fact the opposite... you can brew two coffee-only based drinks at the same time
How often does the milk container need cleaning? Do you always leave on counter?The Miele one needs to be emptied and cleaned 2x a week otherwise milk goes bad.
Great video! I've had the Z10 for a couple of months now and absolutely love it. So quick and easy to use. The milk frothing works super well and has a great texture for whole milk and almond milk -- for some reason it seems to sputter a bit with the oat milk that I've tried, but it still works in the end (just not as good of a micro-foam texture). I think my favorite drink so far I found from a Jura press event video -- I do 2oz of the cold brewed espresso over ice, 2 pumps of vanilla syrup, and fill the rest up with orange juice. I think they call it a "Freshpresso". Delicious!

I have had the Jura S9 Avant Garde for 17yrs and it just died... so after watching this video and a couple others, I realized the only replacement that made sense will be the Z10. Curious about what the WiFi feature allows a user to do, and of course what, if any security risks it may present.
Really wish there was a more in depth review on the cold brew quality of this especially since I prefer iced coffee over cold brew but I’m debating between this and a delonghi eletta explore which does iced coffee along with cold milk frothing the only thing stopping me from taking the delonghi is I’ve heard multiple times that the general quality of coffee out the Jura is just better..
The Jura actually adjusts for the grind for the cold and you can also adjust on screen. It is a more sophisticated Brewer but also it costs quite a bit more than the Delonghi
Question for you. I own the Z10 for 2 months now and was starting to do the cold brew coffee. Now when I hit the top 3 squares on screen and choose the snowflake. I see the coffee now in my menu with the ❄️ icon under it. Now if I press it to brew. Does it change the grind setting from my hot coffee settings? Cause my hot coffee uses fine. Now cold brew should be course. What’s the default setting. Just trying to understand how it works. Thank you
So we just know it does a coarser grind when choosing the ‘specialty’ drink for Cold brew? When choosing those 4 squares at top which is the specialty drink and I choose cold brew. So you are saying we don’t know what grind that is (is it the ‘coarsest’ setting. And it also can’t be changed? The manual doesn’t really elaborate on this. I really do like the cold brew now though since watching this video. Ive had the machine 2 months and I only made 3 cold brews now. Thanks for the video.
All this is fantastic. But… how about the maintenence of this mashine? We have Miele integrated mashine- and its pain in the a… ss- each week needs to be washed and maintened.. so anoying.. Whats the deal about that with tuis Jura? Thanks for the video.
There is maintenance on these, cleaning, filter changes and descale. This is standard with any superautomatic. Jura has step by step on screen instructions which helps.
The water tank should always be filled with cold water. But if you are wanting an extra water tank we would recommend calling giving Jura a shout and ensure you are purchasing the correct part :)
so, actually the name is pronounced iiuura, more like a U ra, "you're a" it's from Switzerland and hence in the german language we say it that way, also in Switzerland we have a state (canton) called Jura. Just for general info, I've heard many Americans pronounce it wrong over the years...and I worked at Jura for 4 years, did my apprenticeship there as well :)

The price is outrages for the build quality Jura offers now, the so called APP they offer is completely useless. Probably designed by high school kids. I did like your presentation tho! Kudos for that!
Still, a lot of used cheap plastic. The menu is very basic, the same as the low-resolution pictures of the different coffees. Compared to the Delonghi top model it lacks too much to be as competitive.
@@ollydearden , I bought the Siemens 905, their new top model. It brings coffee to the next level which is not available yet at Delonghi and Jura. It has so much more parameter options. That it gives you access to a higher level of flavor. Love it!!

Wow! Just Wow!! Jura z10 is a coffee lovers dream machine. Too bad you have to pay for your pleasure. oh well, an excellent demo!!

Can you program a custom drink such as a normal Americano but also include a little hot steamed or frothed milk on top? Or is that asking too much!?

It will only change the settings of the grind for the cold brew. It will not affect the hot brew.

How do you clean the brewing system?
Jura uses cleaning tabs that are put down the bypass chute! The detergent will clean the brewing unit 😊

just drop a cleaning tablet in and run the program, very easy. no descaling if you use the filters
I’m so disappointed with Miele. Supposed to be quality but in less than 2 years I’m already having problems.

Funny, because although many people do refer to the machine as Zed 10, they’ll still say zhura, instead of yura. (In the US, we don’t use zed.)
