According to a Jura tech , they changed the way it switches from steamed to foam to prevent clogging and combined with the new milk cleaning system it wasn't possible to fit a y splitter for the milk like the giga 5/6. It wasn't removed for cost reasons
I can't quite follow what you are saying about the how the Giga 10 brews the Americano. I wish my Saeco Xelsis Suprema had a double hopper. The Giga looks like a step backwards at tipple the price. I don't understand why the screens are so low quality and the UI is so clunky. I really have no interest in trying to memorize how their sizes translates into ounces.
Milk cleaning will be done daily if it has been used, replacing the water filter will be done approximately every 2-4 months depending on usage, cleaning cycle to be run approximately every 2-4 months as well, depending on usage :)
Glad my e8 has much better and easier way to make an americano. If you select 100ml-150ml coffee on e8 through the same spouts, it just taste terrible.
The ultimate feature of the Giga 10 vs the Z 10 is that it also has two brew groups. Therefore it does make a true Americano: It'll take a programable amount of coffee and mixes it on the go with a separate amount of water which DOESN'T run through the coffee puck. So the coffee tastes exactly the same as if you put water in first and then the coffee or the other way round. But you save the process of steering your beverage.
@@timomeininger2250 the giga 10 does not have two brew groups. The Americano does not taste the same as other machines, it tastes like a lungo. Nor can you definitely adjust the amount of water in a Americano. What is worse is the hot water portions are huge so you can't even make a small Americano without standing there and guessing when two or three inches of hot water went in. The j8 twin does not have the cup sizes and can make a Americano
Sorry. My mistake. It doesn‘t have two brew groups. I was thinking about two individual waterpumps. One with a bypass around the coffee puck for plain water. Hope these are the correct words now.
keep your hands of this machine, the service is horrible, unreachable, wifi unit never works, does not recognize attachments, one grinder got damaged within a week, etc. It behaves like a cheap machine, you pay for Ferrari and get less than a Volkswagen!
The big complaint about this machine is that it only has one milk spout!
I feel like Giga 6 was better both looks- and functionality-wise. What a shame

How can I force the machine to make 600 ml latte macchiato without using JOE app?

How often is cleaning nd maintenance required? Thanks for showing this unit.

Also can't access brew group for cleaning
Yes! That is true for all Jura machines though :)
how coke you guys dont make a cold brew with G10 that’s a rare feature. Jura still make cold espresso better than other brands.
We will need to revisit this in another video ;)

We were surprised they removed the true americano function!

what a complete scam 5K for a piece of plastic with a clunky UI there are MUCH better options at 4x the price at much better quality than this hunk
