Definitely one of the best and most informative packing videos I've ever seen. While I'm not going to be traveling this way I still picked up a few helpful hints from you. And I have to say that I appreciate all the work and effort that went into this video. I'm very impressed.
Wow Libby thank you so much. We really appreciate your kind words, it means a lot ♥️ we are very happy that you were able to take some tips away from the video 😊
@@KeithandDev May I ask considering the bag itself? Do you actually need to expand the bag from 35 to 45 liters when you carry all that stuff in the bag? Or in most cases just 35 is enough. Hi Mari! Thanks for watching! Here’s our link for these exact containers, they are called ionEgg 🧐 and man they fantastic, our favourite item we carry now. amzn.to/3MB4jOx
I've been watching tons of travel packing videos. Yours is the best. I stopped the video several times to add to my list! Thank you so much. Safe travels!
Man I have a lot to learn! I haven’t been on a plane since I was 25. I’m 58 now. Just bought an Osprey 46L Porter. I’ve been told it’s ideal for a carryon. But I sure don’t know how to pack. And exactly what to bring for 2 weeks. I’m going to Vietnam in January 2023. First time overseas. And going solo. Something i need to do. After my wife passed away 4 years ago.sorry I just wrote a book. I enjoyed yalls video 😊
Hey Keith, thanks so much for sharing a part of your story with us ❤️ That is so exciting you will be travelling to Vietnam next year! We know you will love it and learn so much! We have never been but hope to go one day. As long as you have clothes for the right temperature and a first aid kit with some meditation you should be good to go. :) feel free to reach out if you do have any questions we can try and help as best we can. ❤️
I'm super impressed that y'all are able to fit so much in 45L bags. We took what seemed like less for a 2.5 month Europe backpacking trip and felt crammed in 55 & 65 liter packs!
Thanks for watching Daniel! 😊 When it’s all spread out it does look like a lot! But we have a system. We’re thinking about making a video about how we pack our bags exactly, if people are interested in that sort of thing.
We took out the packing sections out of it to give it more space and are able to fit all the drone gear on one side and the camera, mic, and extra batteries as well. + a kindle and my glasses case so it definitely fits more then it looks like it will fit!
Thanks for watching! Seems like a lot but it’s everything we have for all weather conditions. As we keep growing as travellers we’ll likely be shedding some weight, already made some adjustments since this video. Definitely not ultra minimalists though haha 😅
Could not have come across this packing video/channel any sooner! My wife and I will be going to Europe for the 1st time later this Fall (approx. a month). This was SUPER helpful. Thank you so much & safe travels!!

It was for travelling to south east Asia. If you want to check out those videos they are on our channel under the playlist of packing :)

Hi Nourhan! Thanks for watching glad we could help! Our affiliate links are in the description! 😊 The peak design 45L is the bag we both have and the container link is there too! Let us know if it works! 👍
What a great video guys! Very short and sweet to the point. Super helpful! New sub for sure, matt and I️ are planning international travel and currently live in a van in the US right now.
I found a number of airlines made me check my 45 litre M.E.I. bag or Tortuga 45 litre. But when I went smaller to 35 litre Minaal bag, then they always allowed me to carry on. Now I’ve gone even smaller, to a 21 litre Minaal Daily, plus a 6 litre cross body sling bag, and travel months at a time. Carry on always now.
So far we have had no troubles getting on airplanes with our bags :) we have flown, air transit, air iberia, Ryanair, and Pegasus (although with Pegasus you were only allowed one bag, no personal item, which we both have so getting everything to fit in one bag was stressful. So probably won’t fly with them again :) That’s amazing you can travel so lightly ! We find our camera gear does take up a good amount of space but we do still have a good amount of stuff. It could be nice to down size :)
@@KeithandDev The airlines that gave me a problem with my 45 litre bags were Cathay Pacific, Bangkok Airways, and Dragon Air. For going smaller I’ve adopted a minimalist style of one bag carry on travel. I can now go months, and indefinitely with just my 21 litre Minaal Daily and my Osprey 6 litre cross body sling. It helps that I travel only warm tropical countries. So no need of heavier clothing.
@@robertwilliamson6121 thanks Robert, we will keep those airlines in mind about maybe avoiding when booking flights in the future :) thanks! For us it is tricky as did pack for all climates, which takes up space for sure! But good thing we did because we are in Istanbul right now and it’s less the 10 degrees 🥶
@@KeithandDev My only cameras are the camera on my iPhone and the camera on my Sonim XP3 phone and the camera on my iPad Mini. No other camera equipment, and no laptop or sound equipment. I’m also 70 years old now, and it’s much easier for me going much lighter and taking less stuff, much of which I used only once, or not at all, or that I could buy at my destination much cheaper than in my own country. I feel more free also being able to just pick up and go. Grab my bag out of the overhead, and never have to wait at airport carousels anymore, or wonder who’s handling my luggage, or hoping it didn’t accidentally get put on the wrong plane. Be safe, and enjoy your travels. ✈️🌴🙂🛺
@@robertwilliamson6121 we totally agree with you Robert about the carry on bags, when your life’s in a backpack you don’t want to risk it being put on another plane ☺️ where is the best place you’ve travelled to? Any recommendations?
Hey Rachel! I actually got the bag at travel bag store at our local mall. On our packing list which is linked in the comments, it has the name of the bag and the brand. I recently looked for someone else and I am not sure if they sell the same model anymore! :(
Just found you guys and definitely subscribed. Love your vibe. I'm going on a 2.5 week trip to Spain/Portugal/Morocco and was thinking I needed a medium suitcase (especially to bring home some souvenirs). But if you can fit a year's worth of items in a carry-on... I should be able to fit 2.5 weeks into a carry-on!
Thanks Molly :) and we totally get need needing extra space if you are buying things! Having no space in our bags is always our excuse not to buy things 😂
Great video full of helpful advice. (I wish I’d had the benefit of your views prior to taking 12 years pairs of footwear on a not-very-recent three week road trip with Jen… which she has never let me forget…) I’m outing you both as hockey players - not pairs or ice-dancers - given your “spinning”abilities!
Shoes wise all you need is black runners (so they can be fancy) and sandles for warm weather! (So far we’ve been good ☺️) Also JR (this is Devon and I actually laughed out loud at your hockey comment 😂, very true, very true)
Hello from Ouray, Colorado! Wow…this is really an awesome video! Thank you so much for sharing both of your packing lists here! Ha… I am on a work trip currently to a much bigger city than the 700 person town that I live in. So, I took advantage of the better shopping available here and looked at an Osprey Farpoint 40L and Porter 46L. After seeing and holding those 2 packs, I am SHOCKED that you two can get all of the items you displayed into 2 packs and 2 personal bags! That is very eye opening! PS. I saw an opportunity that you two could maybe have affiliated linked much more items? QUESTION- with your Peak Design packs, have you been hit with check in fees?
We are so happy you liked our video! We actually just posted an updated packing video today and we also included a packing list with affiliate links as well :) Also great questions about our Peak Design Bags, we have never been hit with extra free in check in but we do have some tips and tricks we use. We we actually touch on that in our video we released today as well as we have listed the tips on our packing list. @@marysanta3546 That was one of the reasons we picked the bag! :) We wanted to look a bit less like backpacker when moving around big cities and stuff (we still do haha but its not as bad)
I originally picked it because my old wheel carry on was hurting my good hand and my dog walks on the side of my bad hand. (I have a service dog). Carrying on my back took off the uncomfortable and the hassle. And since I can use it for work it took and extra baggage weight off
Thank you so much for following along Ellen we really appreciate it 🥰 we weighted them before we left and Keith’s was heavier than mine but they were literally right at the limit. Just under 30 pounds. (They do get heavy after a while but totally manageable :) )
Good job! Keith in your clothing you have a blue(gray) zipped jacket, fleece maybe. It's not on your Amazon shopping list, any idea of the brand? Thanks you!
Hi thanks! Yeah it's not on the update packing list, but it's still a fantastic fleece by Burton. Im unable to find it online unfortunately. Anyhow thanks so much for watching! :)
Probably the most useful and fun one bag travel video I have ever seen. Awesome job! Have y'all run in to any issues where the airlines don't allow both a personal item and carry on yet? And where they weight he carry on bag? I have read certain international flights like Emirates and Qatar airways have started doing this and that can get in the way of one bag travel.
Hi Jez T, thanks for all the kind words and thanks for watching! 😊 Yes we recently had that come up with Pegasus Airlines, where they only allowed one bag even though we paid extra. We managed to downsize Devons laptop bag so her personal item could be the burgundy purse she has. We both wore more layers and my front carrying sling was allowed as my personal item at the check in desk (although at the gate, one of the staff questioned it and another said it was alright). I told them I was good to go based on the check in desk. It does make it more stressful though and we’ll try to avoid those Airlines I think in the future. Hope this helps!
and you're cooking for yourselves at each stay? I"m doing Netherlands and Scotland May/June 2024.What are you cooking? my domestic choices are Trader Joes pouch foods and rice.
We tried to cook as much as we could for ourselves when we were in Europe. It was always easy to find great grocery shops and Airbnb’s with kitchens for great prices. That being said we would always make sure we are trying the local cuisine :)
I love watching people that pack normal clothes to travel like it makes complete sense to pack jean shorts if you like wearing jean shorts.
We totally agree! You want to be comfortable and feel like yourself wherever you are in the world :)

So far we have had no troubles getting on airplanes with our bags :) we have flown, air transit, air iberia, Ryanair, and Pegasus (although with Pegasus you were only allowed one bag, no personal item, which we both have so getting everything to fit in one bag was stressful. So probably won’t fly with them again :)
That’s amazing you can travel so lightly !
Informative video. Now the interesting thing would be to see, how exactly you pack all these things.
We are hoping to do a how we pack video in the near future just have been trying to find the time :)
If you have the time, can share with us how you packed them in your bag. Tq
We definitely plan on making a video like that for sure! We just have to find the time. 😊
Hi Dev, where did you get your personal item bag for the laptop etc? Great video btw. I like the clothing transitions 😁👍
Hey Rachel! I actually got the bag at travel bag store at our local mall. On our packing list which is linked in the comments, it has the name of the bag and the brand. I recently looked for someone else and I am not sure if they sell the same model anymore! :(
@@KeithandDev thank you so much for the quick response. You guys are the best. You're both my inspiration to travel & explore more.
Ive been wating for this one
Wooohoo! Now you know what to packed when you come visit us 🥰😘
Incredible packing skills!
Thank you Nogui!! :)
Good video. Thanks.
Thanks so much for watching :) we’re glad you liked it
Thank you. Very helpful tips and things
Glad we could help!! 😊
Such a fun video!!
Thank you Elda :)
We actually just posted an updated packing video today and we also included a packing list with affiliate links as well :)
Also great questions about our Peak Design Bags, we have never been hit with extra free in check in but we do have some tips and tricks we use. We we actually touch on that in our video we released today as well as we have listed the tips on our packing list. Here is the link to both if you are interested: ua-cam.com/video/jS3g1a28PvQ/v-deo.htmlsi=aw8X5iZQ1RNkJYgU and our packing list: bit.ly/46KlIPm
Thanks for watching BTW :)

This was really amazing 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you Anne! :)
his transitions 😂😂 so good
Haha thanks :)
Just subscribed, very nice keep going
Thank you so much Murad. You have no idea how much your comment means to us we really needed it right now, so thank you ♥️
Doggos your almost at 100k views thats so amazing🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for all the love Kate 😊
I love my Peak Design 45L
Us too, they are so great and very practical :)
I specially like that I can unload what is not work related and take it to a meeting and it looks like no more than a bulk ish computer bag
And since I can use it for work it took and extra baggage weight off
@@marysanta3546 Thats awesome it works so well for you :)
So awesome! I love following along your trip! How much do you think your bags weigh?!
Thank you so much for following along Ellen we really appreciate it 🥰 we weighted them before we left and Keith’s was heavier than mine but they were literally right at the limit. Just under 30 pounds. (They do get heavy after a while but totally manageable :) )
oh my god i'm allergic to brazil nuts too! i've never found another person who is. well done with this video!
I just found out during covid I was allergic!! Very strange allergy! Agreed haven’t met someone with the same allergy. Thanks for watching the vlog 🥰
Here in Australia there's a 7 kilo max weight for carry-on bags.
@@alisonshanahan9529 good to know! Thanks Alison :)
Great video guys! I feel we have a similar packing style! subbed :)
Thanks George! Happy to have you along! :)
Wow amazing 😮 I love it

@@KeithandDev I just bought 50L backpack it's great I can only imagine a 75L or 100L
Love your video!!❤️
Thank you so much Janette :)
Well done!!! Amazing job organizing!
Thank you!!! :)
and you're cooking for yourselves at each stay? I"m doing Netherlands and Scotland May/June 2024.What are you cooking? my domestic choices are Trader Joes pouch foods and rice.
We tried to cook as much as we could for ourselves when we were in Europe. It was always easy to find great grocery shops and Airbnb’s with kitchens for great prices. That being said we would always make sure we are trying the local cuisine :)
Please do a UA-cam about the equipment and techniques you use to create and edit your VLOG. Thanks!
Thanks for the request we may try to do that down the road 😊 thanks for watching!
@@KeithandDev thanks!
Can you show us how you packed the bags?
Yes! We want to make a video on how to pack our bags :) hopefully in the nearish future! :)
U guys are adorbssss
Awe Thank you 🥰
Fun video 😀👍
Thank you :)
such a good video to learn some new words 😂😂😂
Happy to help ☺️
Great video! Just a heads up you should throw away that eczema cream, it will eventually make your eczema worse.
I totally agree with that. I have it as a back up, but I have stopped eating gluten and my eczema has actually totally cleared up!
love the video! loved your white button up! where is it from? lots of love!
Thank you so much! :) the button up is from LL Bean, but I actually got it at a thrift store :)
Great video!
Thanks so much Joel! 😊
I'd love to know where Dev got her packing cubes and laptop bag! Thank you.
We are from Canada so we got the packing cubes at CAA and the laptop case is from Best Buy :)
