You guys fit a lot of things in a small space, well done! Honestly, I mostly watched to find out what the slices of bread were in the opening sequence. LOL. 🤣 For real. - Michelle

Isn't that cute?! We actually bought another one at the same time that was in the shape of a baguette, but we lost it 😭. A real tragedy 😅

Flying with only a carry on is my fav thing to do when traveling. SO much time saved. My fav travel tip!

After a decade of traveling this way, I couldn't imagine doing it any other way.

Wow I came across your video and I’m with you guys on one carryon bag! It probably is due to traveling a lot and experience. I’ve been to about 15 countries and I started off with carryon and a check bag, then realizing I don’t need as much stuff as I use to bring. Plus it just makes life simple and easy!

Traveling with one bag definitely has its drawbacks, but it just offers so much more flexibility! Another huge benefit we forgot to mention in the video is that we can walk around a city if there is a gap between when we have to check out of our hotel and when we have to get on a plane. It's really nice to still be able to walk to a restaurant or go visit some attraction without having a bunch of roller bags.
Like you said, it makes life simple and easy!

I have the same backpack, apart from it being slightly over 2kg, I am quite happy with it. I might have missed it but, haven't seen your total weight of the fully packed backpacks.
Just a friendly correction in case anyone is seriously interested to purchase the bag, the size is 30/35/45 liters
How do you deal with weight restrictions? Do you get them checked-in, instead of using as carry-ons?
Current new airline regulations enabled the airlines all around the world to be really strict with both size and weight restrictions. It varies from 7kg to 10kg depending on the airline for carry on, plus a small 2-3kg personal item bag. They weigh and check size at the boarding gates now and are not shy to get to you pay full check-in luggage fee (with at the rates) and transfer your bag to check-in, not letting you to take it with you onto the plane.

Thanks for watching. This is a guess, but I'd say my (Justin here 👋) bag weighs about 25 lbs in Jess' is 21lbs.
We've been on many flights with this setup and have never had someone weigh our bags or check the sizes at the gate. Ever.
      1. Having a backpack helps. I think it's a psychology thing, but being able to wear bags on our back may help. Also, they don't look like huge hiking backpacks.
      2. We always make sure that we fly with airlines mkt8nkkjjjdthat offer both a carry-on and personal item. If they don't include a carry-on bag, we always purchase that. If our backpack is ever oversized or overweight, we could easily take out a couple cubes or items and put them in one of our foldable day bags and that would be considered our personal item.
      3. Worst case, if someone makes us check a bag at the gate, then so be it. I'll Just take my camera cube out and laptop out. That's another great thing about that camera cube... It contains 90% of my expensive camera stuff and you can just take it out of the bag with four clips and it will be your carry-on.
Also, thanks for the correction on the bag capacity when collapsed!

Just buy the men's Topo in a small size, unless you have super tiny feet. I didn't like the bright colours for women either so I bought the men's black pair. Love them.

It's been so surreal seeing my niche One Bag subreddits and FB groups for Peak Design blow up with attention. P.s. this video is my alibi that we were not in NYC that day 😬

Wow! I’ve waiting for a real video like this this! I have that bag but haven’t tried yet on international flights,,. It would be nice if you can share a video with the experience with that bag with flights, checking an so… I see your bags are packed at full 45L capacity, any problems o inquiring when boarding?

Thanks for watching! We've been on many flights with this setup and haven't had someone weigh our bags or check the sizes at the gate.
Our bags were fully packed at the beginning of this video, exactly the way they would be when we get on international flights. There's been a couple times where Jess' bag was just a little too big to fit in the overhead compartment, but it was super easy to just pull out one packing cube on the plane and it fit perfectly.

Great video, however you are not getting those bags on the vast majority of non US airlines.

I've been all over the world with this bag and have never had an issue once. We have taken six flights across Central and South America in the past month and not a single gate agent or flight attendant has said anything to either of us.

Hello. I would be interested in knowing how much you bags weight. With all that stuff you must be way away from a lot of carry on flight weight restrictions no ???

      Hey, Justin here 👋
I'm guessing my bag is around 25 lb and Jessica's is just under 20. We have never once been asked to weigh our bags. Worst case, we would just take some weight out and put it in our packable day bags and use that as our personal item. Fortunately, it's never come to that.
