The hysteria over this alleged "Odinism" is incredibly irritating. I've read the document composed by the defense, it's absurd. The "connections" between these Odinists and the case are profoundly flimsy. It's laughable, in my opinion.
What bothers me the most is- this ridiculous conspiracy is a result of the defense trying to get attention drawn away from their client. _It's not the result_ of objective investigators trying to solve the case regardless where it leads.
The defense has one single job: to get their client off. Hence, "Odinism".
Way too many media entities are treating this conspiracy as if it was a result of legitimate investigation. It wasn't. It's barely relevant nonsense strung together by defense attorneys bending over backwards to get the heat off their client. In so many words, it's stupid.

Something I find troubling about this case is that, as far as I know, nobody interviewed publicly on the news that actually knew Richard Allen has come out and identified him as the man in the video. Family members, neighbors, friends, and coworkers should all be able to look at that video and say "gee, I can't believe it, but that's definitely Richard. I think that some jurisdictions get so focused on capturing ANY killer, even if it is the wrong one, that once they latch on to a decent suspect, that they will just run for it rather than keeping options open that they could be more or a different killer. The elected officials want to come off being heroes to 'get this killer off the streets and protect our good citizens' that they really don't care if justice is served.
Just review the Gainesville College Murders and you'll see that they brought in two other mentally disturbed men saying they did the slayings because it was a college and they didn't want students (money) fleeing out the door thinking there is a killer running around.

In 1983 a close relative was in the kitchen of her flat when she heard scratching sounds at her back door. Thinking it was her cat, she opened the door to find a man with a slit pillow case over his head - one eye showing through the slit - using a knife to unscrew the screen door. He jumped forward and held the knife at her throat.
Her flat mate, hearing her scream, ran from her bedroom.
The man made the second girl strip, while holding the knife at my relatives throat. Then alternated, holding the knife at the flatmates throat and making my relative strip.
The threat was clear! He said he would slit their throats if the other girl didn’t do what he wanted.
I won’t go into what happened . I’m sure you can guess!

I spoke to a forensic ballistics expert about this when the PC affidavit came out last year and his summation was "I hope they have something more compelling than that". The fact the casing was apparently under some leaves and they had to dig it out of the ground also doesn't sound like it was dropped the day of the killings. If Richard Allen was there and knew he'd dropped it, he'd have to be the dumbest criminal in the world to bury it at the scene instead of taking it away with him.

I think that a large part of the public WANTS to believe in Satanic cults around every corner, Triad gangs with opium dens in Chinatown, serial killers who are actually royalty (rather than simply psychopathic individuals from, usually, emotionally messed-up families), that every tourist who goes missing or is killed was trafficked by an international sex tourism gang (that, of course, prefers mildly attractive middle-class white women from rich western countries with well-funded police forces and powerful governments that will create a tremendous amount of problems for them) and is living a secret life years later, signaling their secret identity to some other tourist who saw them on the beach in a totally different part of the world....yeah you know what I'm talking about. People want to believe in such things, so, the mere fact the defense attorney said it is treated like evidence. @@ThepupsnameisBrian

Most people (and I’d argue almost all young teen girls) would be pretty easily controlled by a much larger adult man with a gun.
I’d also argue this case will be decided by the girls heroic video - they’re pretty clearly filming one guy with one gun. the one guy they filmed, looks an awful lot like the guy they arrested and he’s very familiar with the area.
I think the investigation was an awful small town failure tho, so who the hell knows what they missed, what they lied about, and what they rushed or mishandled. They might very well have f’ed it up, enough fir a food defense to be adequate for an acquittal - but it doesn’t mean he’s the wrong guy.

It's in every TV detective show I've watched for the last 50 years. What do they teach at the academy? They must mention it. Right? I know it's a tough job but it always sounds shady when LE lets crime scenes get contaminated.

Even though children were victims in some of the cases, they all involved adults and one perpetrator.

If "Bill's" friends had something to do with it idk but he seems to have an alibi and is definitely not bridge guy due to his appearance. I'm still looking at RA as Bg.
