lorewise it makes sense because she becomes really fatigued having to take off one of her rings to use her true damage powers but gameplay wise yeah it really hurts her viability

It would make sense lore wise... Her other versions are like more unstable since more of the king of sarkaz power is unleashed so she can't use it for long. Eh she’s ok i guess. I think her caster form is the best one, it’s the most reliable one and somehow the best designed one. Her guard form S2 is a little bit more decent, this one doesn’t really do much damage and can only be used once per battle, actually looks kinda terrible if you only want either healing or damage. Can’t expect much from a 5* medic, S1 is probably a lot better.
The biggest flaw of her caster for is lack of attacking priority during 3rd skill%. I fucking hate it when she spends valuable true damage attacks on some mobs🤬

Bad how exactly? Her S1 have cost about 70, not too costly but the duration for 50s is actually good for her talent. If her talent 2.5% global max HP heal also applies to enmity type, that is quite valuable. E.g. my Mudrock Lvl 80, max trust will be able to heal like 120HP per sec and with 50s, she can heal more than 100% of Mudrock HP. My max Perfumer can heal like 106HPwith skill 2, but with 30s, that's not even enough for Mudrock full HP. Her S1 ATK speed allows her to heal fast enough against projectiles like shown in vid. What's bad about that? S2 is tricky, timing is crucial since it's once per battle but I like the utility of it. For all enemies hit she can stack max 150% ATK and the enemies are slowed ATK by 60 and Mvmnt speed by 60% for 10 sec. You might not think it much, but it's actually quite helpful. She can slow the enemies Atk speed, allowing for the Ops to survive and if she can hit 2 target means she can heal 100% of her damage. Adding to True Damage means that she can pass through the res so she can heal without any reduction. I also wish for the usage limit to be removed too but she's not really bad. Also this is without module, wonder what kind of module she will get. If it one that increase her 2.5% max HP heal, then that's actually good.

Vandella's S1 can outpace Amiya's S1 but Amiya focus on all Ops within her range and combined with her Talent, she have pretty good heal amount with her +75 Speed (M3) adding that her duration is longer than Vandella. I know about Vandella specialised in making highest HP Ops in range as bait and that's pretty nice, but Amiya's S2 is pretty good too. You can be mad about the one use, but the damage and heal of that S2 is pretty good. Again, how is Medic Amiya is bad? She got a good niche with hp boost and global heal and her S1 is pretty decent and if you used it well, her S2 can be a clutch to slow enemies ATK and Movement while providing heal with true damage that bypass both Def and Res.

But the one-use skills haven't found much of a home outside of IS. Also, true damage sort-of falls off in IS because the enemies get maxHP buffs at higher risks anyway, so it's contradictory, wtf is goingg onn

It`s only natural that 5* are not as good as 6*, even if they are compared to the free ones like Gladiia. I belive Amiya`s restrictions are reasonable for a 5* operator, considering the fact that you don`t need to build her 3 times like we do with the `Alter` Operators. At this point you can just consider her as a sort of commemorative gift for completing yet another Chapter/(Act)?

I think people really need to stop compare 5* to a 6*. 6* are meant to be good, better than the lower rarities. If this Medic Amiya is comparable to 6*, then what's the point of making 6*? We have Viviana, Palas, and Shining who are 6 star scams. We have Spectre, Lapland (now with fragile effect) Ptilopsis, Warfarin, ect. Which are all year 1 5 starts, h#ll even super niche operations like Rockrock are outright better than Goldenglow at times. Arguing that 5* should be meh and we should have low expectations for them is simply not true. There are well over 4 tiers in the 5 star rarity which all range from filler, to scam, to unironically better than most 6 stars.
