Been treating lawns for 7 years but a customer has asked me to do some hedges. This has been a great help and I love how positive you are. Great work to the both of you guys :D
Is it ok to deep trim a hedge in the spring (now) or should I wait till fall?
I can really respect professionals that don't mind giving tips and showing how it's really done. Salute
I do it for the love ❤️ 👍🏾
Best video I've seen while preparing to use the trimmerfor the first time .....idk why my neighbor thinks I know how to use every power tool under the sun but ever since her husband died she's come to me for all her maintenance and landscaping needs....I guess he must have been a pretty handy guy rest his soul.
Anyway thanks for the guide ! Yall got a sub out of me
Nice work😃. Always rake the shrub before trimming and after you think you’re done. You’ll be surprised by how many uncut twigs and small branches that pop to the surface. Keep the videos coming 😃😃😃😃
The tarp and the leaves on the mulch part is fantastic and makes every sense. Wow
great video. got many tips I will put into use this week. Thanks
"Customers don't pay for mistakes" sounded more like a personal principle than anything. That, I admire and respect. Top man.
Customers don’t pay for mistakes...
One of the best Quotes ever!
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Man we look up videos to laugh at people how to be a pro videos when it’s some hack of a landscaper whacking away at podos. But I was pleased with this guys advice, there’s a lot of people out here in Florida that would benefit from watching this. The best tip on here is upward strokes. We don’t use the tarp personally but we have our own tricks for preventing or reducing debris with little effort.
Nice job fellas, I love hedgecutting, been doing it for 25 years!
I’ve been watching videos all over UA-cam on Bermuda grass and how to keep my pine straw flower beds looking good. I just unsubscribes to everyone’s channel and subscribed to you guys! You cover everything I need to know about lawn care! Thanks for the great videos and tips!
I’m actually thinking about a name change because I do cover it all 🤔

Impressive work and professionalism by the way you express yourself.
Pants and long sleeves are a must for me. Usually go with cargo pants and under armor long sleeve, right, breathable tops.
I once went in shorts and and tank top/muscle tee, got sunburned and skin irritation from whatever was on the bushes. Never again did I go in shorts or tee.

Great video!!
MAYNE BYD!!!!! I've watching your videos for the past three months. I want say thank you for giving us the tricks of the trade and I can't wait till you drop the fall prep video. I've used some of your tips for basic things and it's made a huge difference. I haven't had a chance to do a cycle of pre emergent treatment or fertilization yet because it's to hot down here in the dirty south of Texas but I'm ready Awwwready !!!!!
After owning 3 different properties/homes with my added detail on two of the yards I've mowed, trimmed, edged, furtilized, cared for, irrigated, took extreme pride in all three of them. FIrst was a total mess. Overgrown everytthing including the Oleander surrounding the entire tract home fence line that didn't exist by the time my wife and I were done with it,
The pride I took in the detail of each of them was a bit on the OCD side of Pride fashion. Some called it a bit extreme when I was the ONLY PERSON ALLOWED TO MOW THEM. Same as detailing my vehicles, no one can do it as good and perfect as I..... Until I saw your video here..... I'll admit... I MIGHT allow you to do my yard trimming work some day!!! lol Our first and least previously taken care of eventually had the front hedge able to hold my beer like a table! Just place it antywhere and it would stay the same until grabbed for a refreshing taste again!
My point to wasting your time sir....
Well done! Coming from me, the ADD/OCD/total Anal retentive perfectionist might say more about that statement to myself than to you but still..... you deserve the statement regardless... NICELY DONE! The lawns, the hedges, the trimming/hedging/edging.... nice work showing some serious pride in one's work!
This was great
Phenomenal and entertaining
Boy I can wait until spring I'm destroying my whole block neighbors beware of what's coming 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice job big bruh 👍🏽
Nicely explained. Thanx
I can't wait to get a house so I can do this for my yard.

Thats awesome. Hi from New Zealand.
Hello New Zealand 🇳🇿 👍🏾
Thank you ❤
You are a great teacher.😃
Thanks 🙏🏾
You are welcome!
Good 👍
how do you clean up debris that fails to fall on tarp and instead falls on materials such as stone or wood chippings?.. Vids are great.
Use a blower and lightly blow them off.
Thanks bud!!!!
You’re welcome Michael 👍🏾
Mushroom Spaceship!
😀😅😂
ty
Thank you for this amazing video.
Do you have a video on how to sharpen the blades or how to keen them sharp?
Also, what do you think about the battery powered trim hedgers for non-commercial use?

🔥🔥🔥
Master P back at it
hustlehardcampaign yes he is 👊🏾
Great vid!
How do I trim a bush that’s grown too big - I’d like to trim it down maybe, 4 inches. Do I do it all at once, little by little, in the winter, summer???
Thx
overwhelmed amateur 😅
Best time for a hard cut back is late ⏰ Fall or Winter. 👍🏾
Cool video ... u have a sub
Great video. Thanks for the tips. Would you mind to leave a link where to buy that hedge trimmer? It looks light and strong
Bought that at a Stihl Dealer no link.
Great video… Thanks! I’ve just bought a “fixer-upper” property that has been COMPLETELY TAKEN OVER by hedges as tall as the house, and fully up against the house; completely out of control, and interlaced with weeds, poison ivy; you name it! Just a TOTAL JUNGLE! That said, I know when I start chopping and then trimming and shaping, everything is going to look awful and woody because of the inner/lower portions of the hedges being starved of light and nutrients. Here’s my question: Is it OK for them to look woody like that after I trim them the first time, and look bad for a while? Will they eventually grow back green? If so, how long will that take? I know I MUST DO SOMETHING SOON, or the vegetation is going to rot the house. Thanks for any advice!
😊😊😊
🔥
If I have a huge bush like the one you trimmed down about 10 feet and trimmed it down along with the sides so that the branches are exposed, will the leaves grow back? What are some techniques for trimming oversized hedges?
I’d google that question but the leaves will grow back.
Nice !!! Work where can I buy the mat you guys using to catch the hedges off the hedges
Home Depot or lowes. Standard 6 x 6 tarp.
Master P makes it look E Z !!
Great vid. Tarp's an excellent idea. I'm getting one. Geez I hate doing my hedges.
BTW, how do you get the few leaves that are left off the mulch?
Carp use your hands if they are big enough, finer leaves 🍁 lightly blow with blowing but try not to blow mulch. The tiny weeny ones can be blowed lightly back under hedges as long you can’t see them.
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral Cool. Thanks. I was REALLY hoping you were going to tell me about a magic adapter for my blower that would perform this function flawlessly ;)
Carp 😂😂 I wish, let me know if you cone across that 👍🏾
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral 😃 You'll be the first to know 🌳
Me and my guys do it with leaf rake... if you rake really lightly you can pile up the clippings without taking much mulch
