Could You tell me what is Your recommendation of thinnig ratio for Vallejo 77660 Gloss Black Primer (metal primer). Is the same ratio of paint to thinning sauce like in regular mecha primers? I mean 1/2 paint to 1 thinnig sauce?? I am a little confuse of this. Thanks for Your help.
Hello! Why are you using the Mecha primer instead of the gloss primer from Vallejo? Why would I use the one above the other when using metal colours afterwards? :)
Primer or varnish? Mecha Black Primer has a satin finish and is supposedly more scratch resistant than the standard Surface Primer or even the Gloss Black Surface Primer. Metal varnish has glittery speckles that look great as a final finish, but I plan to weather a bit on top and will use chipping medium, thus I opted to use the supposedly stronger Mecha Gloss Varnish. ☺️
I mostly paint Grey Knights and Iron Warriors and so far I only used the gloss primer for my models. But as I intend to weather them quite a bit, I will give the mecha primer a shot. Thanks! :D
@@Hierojin The gloss surface primer is great, but honestly I only have two 35ml bottles of those, thus I prefer my Mecha. Also Mecha is surprisingly very scratch resistant after at least a day of curing. You are most welcome! Thanks for watching! ☺️
I Always wondered....... how 'Vallejo' metal paints stack up with 'Alclad 2' (lacquer) paints..... Being an acrylic-kinda guy, I Always enjoyed the easiness of acrylic paints .... and THOSE colors you used Sure look Great!!! TRULY!! Thanks for posting!!!
Hey Don, you need to do more work on voiceovers mate. We are watching these while we paint so much more listening than looking. we need to know when the important / relevant parts so we can look up. Most of you videos just pass without me seeing anything , just like listening to music. More talking required.
I enjoyed a lot this video: helpful and "user friendly" as usual. Looking forward to see the second part!
Thank you so much! I try to make the videos informative and easy to understand. Appreciate the feedback so much bro! ☺️🎨🎨🎨
Vallejo metal colors are unrivaled

Glossy Black Primer... 1:1 will work bro. I have this, but I prefer Mecha Black Primer, then Mecha Gloss Varnish. ☺️
Do you clean your airbrush every time you wait for another coat?
Yes! Quick clean! 😊
I can use this paint airbrush nozzle 0.2? I have only one 🙁
Yes, I even paint with my .15 nozzle. Just thin a bit more. ☺️

Do you think the Mecha varnish is harder than the other Vallejo varnishes?
Yes as marketed and yes as per my experience with them. Also I am bias and very used to using Mecha. ☺️

Very much noted bro. My videos since August are full of voice overs now. Will redo these basic tutorials with my voice over. Cheers! ☺️🎨🎨🎨
@@DonSuratos thanks for listening mate. Have seen some of the newer ones and much improved. Great channel. Keep it up!
@@draraist Thank you for the fedback. You made me realize, I need to redo some tutorials. Thanks! ☺️
