    ✎ Hey, Believe Nation! Welcome to another book update from Evan Carmichael! This week has been an exciting ride as I handed my nearly finished book to my publisher, except for the final chapter. However, instead of waiting around, I focused on creating other impactful projects. One big takeaway I want to share is the importance of being comfortable with throwing away work. I've cut down my book by half, losing about 60,000 words! It's all about creating for the love of it, not just for the final outcome.
    I also want to share two projects I worked on this week. First, I created a heartfelt video for TDS (Toronto Dance Salsa) titled "You Don't Belong on the Bench." It's about inspiring people to get off the sidelines and pursue their passions. Collaborating with Marc Dreyer from Phantom Media, I aimed to make a moving piece that resonates deeply with viewers. Secondly, I brainstormed a campaign for Sage One, transforming their marketing approach to champion entrepreneurs. Even if Sage One doesn't use it, the process of creating it was rewarding and inspiring.
    Lastly, let's dive into some of your questions! Trusting your intuition is key to success. For me, creating isn't just about the end product; it's about adding value to the world. Whether it's working on my book or inspiring others through my projects, the goal is to make a meaningful impact. Stay tuned for more updates and keep believing in your dreams. Remember, it's not just about achieving results, but enjoying the journey of creation. Continue to believe, and we'll see you soon!

    Nina, your smile and energy in the background are soothing and great visual variety from Evan's other vids.
    Thanks for adding your beauty and presence to the video. I absolutely love beautiful women and am deeply appreciative when they volunteer to appear :)
    Our society, and entrepreneurship especially, needs more beauty and feminine energy, and it takes bold peeps like yourself to step up and contribute.
    So yes, you do add value. Thank you, I smile so big when you feature in Evan's vids, (and same goes for Steph.)

    I'm so glad for your book, Evan :) and totally agree about creation. I can't do something if I don't enjoy it. So the joy from my music comes first.

    Create to create. Yes! Been doing since birth, and 100% agree. Aim to make every breath #art for the world & savor the almost 'magical' results. :)

    I agree, people ask me why do i create these videos. To some extent i just create for the sake of creating. More people should do it

    Create to create, I like that concept. I feel like the underlying message here isn't to necessarily create without any additional intent, but to insure that quality of your creation isn't sacrificed at the expense of some additional purpose. #BTA191

    Great video. Creators are good at creating just to create. We are also one of the most understood groups of people.
    I think the Sage campaign would be brilliant as a marketer myself. SomeOne SageOne. They reason they dont get it is because of different type of vision.
    Creators have perspective, usually a visionary that is forward thinking were financial and process driven people have analytic vision which based on metrics as with Mark's communication with Evan.
    Also Dynamo Geniuses(Evan, myself and other creatives) focus on grow where, Steel Geniuses(SKelly and Mark) focus on know in which they have to know in order to do because they are afraid of making mistakes.

    I feel like many top inventors do that somewhere out there someone is working harder than me and I always have to stay ahead. Usually people who are close to me butt heads with me because we both feel we have the right paradigm and understanding and have to maintain top dog in our own mind.
    But even when on the surface there is conflict behind the scenes both parties learn from the conflict and get even farther. So embrace conflict and welcome it is my advice.

    If you are creating something you can't use then arnt you wasting your time?

    • @HarleyPebley
      @HarleyPebley 8 років тому

      +JMan My answer would be no, you're not wasting your time.
      One or more of the following may result:
      1) Just because you don't use the end creation, you've exercised your creativity muscle so it's ready for use when you need it for something "practical."
      2) Sometimes you don't realize a use for something until you have it.
      3) Once you have something you realize a different use for it than what you originally intended.
      4) Sometimes you create something that you don't use, but once you go through the process of making it, it leads to new insights, discoveries and inspirations for something that can be used.
      Cheers.

    • @EvanCarmichael
      @EvanCarmichael  8 років тому

      +JMan Nope. And that's exactly the point. #BTA80
