@@dianafraser6915 thank you Diana, your support in commenting helps our channel but best of all gives us the motivation to share. I’m so grateful Steve captured his experience as I was disappointed that I wasn’t up to joining him. My new challenge for 2025. Cheers Marg
Love you Gina, you made us laugh. It was bloody difficult along with being summer. Maybe I need to cut back on my Margaritas. I'm happy to share them with Alan.
Hey love the videos, and the adventures, so inspiring, can i ask what setting you use on the camera to capture the star pics, im a novice with the camera
@@paulsyle1966 Hi Paul, all depends on the moon and how light the night is. No moon: high ISO f4 f-stop. Full moon: Low ISO F22 f-stop. @@sharyns.shenanigans you would have nailed this hike Sharyn, I hope to improve my fitness level this year as I don’t want to miss out. Summer hiking is difficult and the hike to the summit became unclear, so I failed this challenge.
@@gibbosroadtripadventures the only failure would be if you hadn't tried at all. You still got out and saw some amazing landscape, especially those big boulders.

Nice episode, I'm glad you took the camera to the top and have shared the view, saves me making that climb, lol. Old Grafton Road is a nice drive if you are exploring this area (I'm from Grafton), plenty of amazing river views and plenty of camping spots along the way.
Hi Peter, I was so grateful that Steve recorded his hike with his mobile, it was extremely difficult and I was so proud of him. We have actually travelled Old Grafton Road many years ago with Mildred our caravan. I did an updated UA-cam video on it. Search UA-cam: The GORGE Clarence River Country NSW by us (Gibbo's Road Trip Adventures). That was one of our most favourite escapes.
Lovely views from the walk Gibbo The camping at the common At deepwater is good nice and quiet I’ve spent time there myself There’s camping behind both pubs at Deepwater we stayed behind the longhorn it was great Can’t wait for the next instalment
Thank you. How good is it when pubs allow you to camp behind them, that was a nice find. We definitely hope to visit again one day, as we love it in the country. Thanks for your support. Cheers Marg & Gibbo
Another good trip. Thanks for sharing. So how was the Vegemite & cheese hot cross buns? Did it have the taste of Vegemite? It's something I might be keen to try. I love Vegemite. 😋
Hello Fatmanoverlander, sadly the vegemite was lacking in vegemite flavour but a good novelty. In saying that, what we did with them in the next episode made them even extra special.
Well done Steve on the climb what an awesome view
