“Dad, do you need any help ?” Means Dad I want to spend some time with you, even if it means I have to work. It shows you are doing a great job as a Dad. 👍 And you’re teaching your son valuable life lessons. I have my grandchildren assist me with cooking, they are my sous-chef. I teach, they learn, we talk, eat, clean up and share our thoughts, great bonding, lifetime memories. 💕
I love it that you picked up the dead grass and it always amazes me how much bigger the sidewalk is once it's been edged. I am really anxious to see what that Reclaimed front porch and sidewalk are going to look like. It's really coming along.😊
Your boy is a good little worker. That's rare these days. Isn't it interesting how a lot of homeowners will let their foundation plants get way to large. They have a window of usefulness that closes eventually and have to be removed or replaced. The yard is really taking shape. Good job to both of you.
Those shrubs could easily destroy that 19c cottage . Its not just the roots which spread but also the growth against the facade. As for you Mark may I say one slip of the chainsaw and your in trouble. You have no helmet&visor, chained pants or steel boots, I hope you realise accidents do happen buddy ! --- Great Vids and you need to pitch more Subs !
A tip and comment. Your son is awesome to volunteer to help, but afterall, he's with dad. He'll remember this when he's older, plus have the video. A tip. As you were cutting those long branches, you could have cut one down. Then at the bottom went up about 24 to 30 inches and then up again until you reached the twigs and leaves. Throw some twin on the ground. Throw in those branches and tie them up in bundles. Firewood, $10. Perfect for campfires. Once after a storm, I had five maple trees that had a dozen limbs fall to the ground. Some were so huge, I could not move one. The trees were 60 feet high and about 60 years old. My nephew drug them all the the front driveway, which I asked him to do. I started at the bottom and cut up logs, nice size for a fire. I put down two pieces of twine. I split two logs and laid them down. I put a solid log on top. I went up the branches and cut them in pieces and filled them on top. Then I looped the twine and pulled it tight and had a nice bundle of firewood. I put a sign out "Campfire wood $10". I had 22 bundles. The rest of the "twigs" and leaves, I sat on a chair and snipped up and got them in over a dozen brown lawn bags I set at the street and the city hauls them away for free. After I set the campfire wood out, some guy stopped and bought two bundles. He had a truck and took a bunch of twig limbs with leaves and threw them in his truck. One guy stopped and bought five bundles to use by a camper he has. I sold all 22 while I was working on the twigs. There is money to be made folks. Once I saw a guy had a huge load of logs, some split and he only wanted $60. I dumped it on my driveway and said he had more. I took more. I sat there with a small axe and split that firewood and did the same. Logs down, kindling on top. That year I sold over 140 bundles as a hobby and fun. I was retired and once the sign went out, it was scooped up quickly. A lot of people said that gas stations charge $20 for half that size. Your son could bundle some up and hold them until he had more and make some extra spending money.
You both did a fantastic job on that tree 🎄. That house is looking alot better now that you uncovered the front door, and pourch. I can't wait to see it when it's done. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️🚜.
@@LeavingAMarkOutdoors It's supposed to thunderstorm ⛈, and heavy rain ☔ here in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 this weekend, and into Monday. We have had a good summer so far, with sunny skies, so we are due for some rain. I'm looking forward to seeing your next video on this property. 🙂⚘️.
Mark, Ryan, great job, Ryan is a very good helper. It;s hard to believe the front door was hidden behind the two evergreens. God bless the homeowner and his Family. God bless you Mark, Ryan, God bless your Family.
What a massive set of bushes, omg they filled your trailer so quickly. And what a wonderful reveal with the home. Thank you for sharing. Look forward to part 4!
I'm happy to hear you're willing to help the young man with the down tree. This is a lot of work and you are doing well. Bringing in the help that you need. 💚🤍💙❤️
I'm new to your channel. Love your videos. Your a great dad and example to your son what working hard feels like and the helping others bring a great satisfaction in life. Aloha from Hilo, Hawaii 🌺🤙
Levy helped ion Part 1 until he had to leave for work.. Ryan helped in part 3, both were extremely helpful and hard workers. Good kids, we are lucky parents..
Can't wait till the next video to get the other side. You are cleaning it up one video at a time and it is looking great. Ryan is a hard worker too. This is a busy road and a loud neighborhood. The dogs, sirens and everything else. I'm sure in its day this was a nice quiet place to live.
You & your son work so well together! It's often surprising that some people who seem aggressive are sweethearts and some who seem nice are anything but - you really can't tell books by their covers. Great work & a terrific result!
The nice thing about a Yew is that, unlike other evergreens, they have dormant buds all along the bark so even when you cut the green back they can fill out again. Other evergreens (spruce, fir, pine, cedar, etc) when you cut branches and make a dead zone it is permanently gone.
You need to wear personal protective gear! Protect your eyes and lungs just like you protect and maintain your equipment! No joke! I watched my mom die of lung cancer, not fun when you can't get air in! Protect your lungs! No excuses! Love the videos! The homeowner needs a weed whacker, rake and barrel. Oh your son did a great job! I hope he liked helping dad and realizes how hard you work! Watching from Norfolk Va. ❤😊
Absolutely wow that was epic, what a difference getting rid of that tree, your son is a hard worker bless him. Can’t wait to see next video ❤❤ Pauline 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Wonderful job!! That brown house across the street has a huge bush in front of a window. As for this red house, that bushy tree by the door is still huge!
Hi Mark... awesome work on the property....the tree was massive....and still more to go....take care....wear eye protection please....happy labor day... Deborah 🇨🇦
Remarkable... well done ... never would have thought there was a door way there ... Continue the excellent work 👏 Sir ... New Subscriber ... Love ❤️ n Blessings 🙌 ... Keep SMILING always
I just discovered you and the very beginning you shall part one and it’s such a cute little cottage style home after you can now see it. Beautiful job in part one now I’m watching part three.
Ryan will be sleeping well tonight that was a fair workout well done. We usually tie down the tree to the trailer after stomping it down it compacts it then you can get a whole heap more on top. Good job these always surprise you how much debris there is.
That was such a hostile neighbor. LOL Click bait. Please don't get like Erik. You don't need all the drama. You and your son are great workers. Thank you.
It really wasn't click bait. The way he came across the street I thought there truly was going to be a confrontation of some type. That's why the rest of the title says "or nice guys."
“Dad, do you need any help ?” Means Dad I want to spend some time with you, even if it means I have to work. An edged yard always looks so much better, in my opinion.
It appears that the neighbors in this neighborhood are very friendly. That’s very nice to see.
Great Father and Son teamwork!!! Great example for today's youth!!
Fantastic transformation your son as an amazing worker a chip off the old block as they say in Britain
Ryan is a GREAT YOUNGSTER 🏆
That was a lot of work. So nice of you and your helper to help them out. Looks great.
Yes, thanks
That bush was almost as big as the house! Excellent job!
It was, unreal
I love it that you picked up the dead grass and it always amazes me how much bigger the sidewalk is once it's been edged. I am really anxious to see what that Reclaimed front porch and sidewalk are going to look like. It's really coming along.😊
Looking great, so much better, really pleasing. Glad y’all are appreciated!❤️ And what a beautiful day in a lovely neighborhood.❤️

I have great kids, very blessed.
Hey first of all we never know someone's situation so we are to never judge
You and your son did a great job thanks to the parents great work teaching him
Mark, the houses on that street are just beautiful. This one was just swallowed by the trees! Good job🙂
Thanks so much!
Really impressed with Ryan! We hope he continues to be in the videos! He is a better worker than some 30 year olds I have met!
He worked hard, wouldn't have got as much done without him.
