EPIC Lawn Makeover for Abandoned House with TRAPPED dogs and BABY Raccoon Rescue

- I stopped several times trying to catch someone at this massively overgrown property. Neighbors informed me that the home owner had passed away, and they believed the home was in foreclosure. With the house being deemed "uninhabitable" I was very SHOCKED to learn there were still residents inside the home, BUT not what you would expect. During this lawn cleanup, part of my family stopped to offer a drink. WHAT MY DAUGHTER FOUND WAS CRAZY, (and we were even able to find a loving home for the little guy she found crying outside). Even though I couldn't get into the backyard, I was able to mow, trim, edge and vacuum up that tall grass in front. Truly a STUNNING transformation with several surprises along the way. Check out the end of the video to see information on the Grayson Grace Wildlife Rehabilitation and Rescue.
Please rescue the dogs! An update on what happens, please. And thank you for taking care of the racoon.
I went back the next evening to try to get into the backyard and the dogs were gone.
@@LeavingAMarkOutdoors Thanks for caring about the welfare of the dogs. I hope the dogs were healthy, and were able to find furever homes. Thanks for rescuing Randy the Racoon.
Great video glad the animals were taken care of ❤❤ Pauline 🇬🇧
First id call the local SPCA on the dogs SAFETY !!! ❤ Did a great job for the community,
You did a fantastic job on this yard Mark. The baby racoon was so cute. Im glad that you rescued it, and went to a rehabilitation place that helps wildlife. I hope you have a great day ❤️🙂⚘️🚜.
We named him LUCKY, the rehabilitation center is certified by the DNR and can house up to 20 raccoons. They had 19 when we reached out. He is with friends!
@@LeavingAMarkOutdoors He found fellow racoons to talk to.
Enjoying your videos Mark! I'm glad you reported the dogs and took care of the baby racoon too! It's so sad what you find while cleaning these properties.
Have actually found some pretty crazy stuff!
Outstanding Sir, God Bless You.
Good work. Hope they get those dogs out safe;y. subscribed
That can be a beautiful house again, hope someone restore it
I hope so too
Great work, thanks for rescuing that baby raconteur, wonder where the adults were. Also, those dogs worried me, if house is vacant they shouldn’t be there. Hope they are alright. Australia 🇦🇺 😊
AGREED. Not sure where the adult raccoons were, I had been there about an hour when my daughter found the little guy. He's in a good hands now and well taken care of.
Amazing job
Thanks!
You did such a wonderful job on this yard, and caring for these animals!!
Thanks for he kind words mam.
Also a new subscriber. You’re the first one that doesn’t use a zero turn mower from what I can tell that I’ve been watching over the past year about it does a different lawn restoration people. I enjoy them and I enjoy your work. They’re all hard workers just like you!
By the way, that big knife suspiciously looks like a short machete. I’ve seen a couple of other lawn care people use them for chopping down, big weeds and small trees along the fence line.
Also, a little tip I’ve seen from other videos, get one of those big green bags for Lawn waste. Be easier to haul off. 😁
Thanks for the Sub, I just use what I have to help people. I have a large compost at home, that why I usually just toss stuff on my trailer. Thanks for dropping a comment!
Great job on the cleanup
Those poor dogs . That guy needs to take care of them better ..
agreed.
love that you are there to help;
Great job. Call police or animal rescue to get dogs out. 10:54
Proper authorities have been notified. Thanks for your concern!!
Fantastic job well done ❤❤❤❤❤
I certainly would call the police about the dogs inside an abandoned house!!! It's not fair to the animals possibly with NO water or food!!! BEAUTIFUL JOB ON CLEAN UP!!!
Neighborhood services monitored the situation, I went back the next evening and the dogs were gone..
GREAT JOB, HOPE YOUR CHANNEL GROWS GROWS GROWS
Thank you so much!!
Wonderful job done. What happened to the poor dogs???? 😮
Nice job
Nice b4 & after.😅 Your Oregon Viewer. 😊
You could see the curtains moving when he was on the side in fast motion
Nice to see your doing a channel on your own and with Erik
Erik and I have been friends for years. Love doing properties with him, we tend to have a lot of fun while working.
Great job!
Great job I hope someone gets the dogs out so sad❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊
I went back the next evening and the dogs were gone.
👏👏👏 Excellent job ❤
thank you
Awesome job mark!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Good Job again😊❤
Thanks again!
Great job. I hope someone called animal welfare about the dogs!
Awesome job ❤
Thank you! 😄
No drinking problem, it was an empty problem. The beer bottles and can were empty.
All over the yard, there were several more that weren't even on camera..
I think we are all in agreement that its a shame what happened to the homeowner. Also guessing the person going in and out did not have permission thus the knife and the lack of concern by the local authorities. thank you for your concern and diligence in doing what you could. What state are you in?
Thanks for the comment, Lower Michigan.
Call somebody to come get the dogs,please..
Update please about the dogs. Monitoring isn't action. Call animal services. Your wife "took action" for the baby raccoon. Same should be done about dogs.
Can't believe that you left the dogs inside knowing that the owner is dead. What am I missing here?????????
Maybe you should watch the entire video. VOLUME UP! He explains what happens. Good Lord.
As the dogs inside needs water and food!!
Awesome job you did... Nice husky I have one myself... Was wondering what's the size of your deck. I have a 42in. I love it...
It's a 48" deck. I have a couple very steep hills in my yard and it has locking differential. Is a game changer on the hills!
I completely understood the title the owner passed away and the house was abandoned simple guess everything is open to interpretation
WATCH the entire video ALL the way to the end. All of your questions AND concerns will be answered. Stop commenting BEFORE you have done that. He tells you what happens to the domesticated and the wild animals.
THANK YOU!!
Did anyone get the dogs? How about the baby raccoon?
You do great work.
The dogs were gone the next night when I stopped to try to get into the backyard. The raccoon went to a Rehabilitation Center licensed by the DNR. Info is at the end of the video.
Please keep ck on dogsgreat job
I went back the next day and the dogs were gone..
What happened to the dogs? 😢
Great job 👏
What is going to happen with the dogs 😢
Neighborhood Services said they are monitoring the dogs, have to trust them.
@@LeavingAMarkOutdoors ...Couldn't animal control be called instead, and let them know there are dogs living inside a vacant house? I would think they would/should act upon something like that to try to rescue them, or at least investigate to see what's going on. I don't know what neighborhood services is, but by the sound of their name, do they even have any legal authority to do anything about or with the dogs? How long would they monitor them, and then what would they do? It just doesn't sound right to me, but I don't know that much about that kind of thing.
Those dogs are barking because they are starving
Why not call Animal Rescue? If the dogs are abandoned, they are hungry. They don't fetch their own dinner.
Good job but, you need to tighten up the edges a little more. The frame on the picture. 🖼
It’s obvious those dogs are not being attended to so someone should call the authorities and have them taken out of the house so they can be taken care of….
Poor dogs!
Can you tell me where you are? The state, town...
southern Michigan, If you are in need of some help or know someone who is please PM me on my FB page. thanks
Noit a very thorough job, could have been better!
Funny thing, I didn't see you there.
Is this an old one?
I'm sorry, I know you called some place about the dogs and we're told they are "monitoring the situation"
What situation?!
For them to die?!
They need food and water.
What's the temperature in the apartment? And so on...
Can you please update about the dogs.
I'm glad your wife and kids took care of the baby raccoon immediately, but the dogs need as much concern.
I'm sure you're a very nice person, but it did not come through in this video.
Wow, shocked you would judge my character, I volunteer time and money to help others. I work a full time job, have 5 children and don't miss any of my kids functions. Curious how much you do to help others? Also, was I supposed to break into the house?
You better be careful city might have laws for mui mowing under the influence. Empty's on the driveway looked like you were drinking.
I don't even drink, don't like the taste of any alcohol...lol, was just messing around. But thanks for the concern!
How awful to abandon animals, glad you found them. A baby raccoon should go to a wild life rehab.
I hope you are wearing hearing protection while using those loud machines.
Should have called DNR for the baby racoon. That's a wild animal and should not be "rehomed."
Great job on the yard....
Why did you not call the cops and pounds on those dogs or whatever else was in that house?
They were probably hungry n abandoned. VERY DISAPPOINTED ☹️
Also a raccoon isn't a domestic animal for a family. 😮
I did call neighborhood services, additionally, the raccoon went to a Rehabilitation Center licensed by the DNR. Info is at the end of the video.
It would of been nice if you had called animal control first and waited for them, so that us as viewers could see them take care of the animals, The lawn could of waited. Just saying... the lawn could of been mowed shorter and the edging done neater
Fairly new sub here. Great job on this property. My only complaint is the click-bait title. Yes the homeowner is deceased, but it’s not like they are still in the home rooting away as the title of your video implies. Please do better. I understand you do it for getting views, but really? Let your work speak for itself. Finally, animal control needs to come and get the dogs. That is one thing that you should push back on the city. That is animal abuse. Treat the dogs as well as you treated the baby raccoon.
I didn’t think it was click bait at all. It’s not like it said found inside or something just a short explanation to why the yard was unkept
Thanks for the comments and thoughts, although I wish I could, unfortunately I can't just walk into the home and take the dogs. I did notify Neighborhood Services.
Thanks for the support.
@@LeavingAMarkOutdoors🎉
Acting like you are going to drink that beer in front of the little boy is not a good example, if he finds a partially empty drink on the ground he will drink it saying if you can he can
There are all kinds of contagious diseases that can make him sick or worse
Did you do anything about the dogs?
Is there not an animal control in this town? Those dogs need out of that smelly environment.
What about the dogs?
Call animal control to pick up the dogs
Omg is anyone feeding those poor dogs they must be removed from there A S A P PLEASE SOMEONE HELP THEM
