Liam O'Flynn and Catherine Ennis

Here is a lovely recording of my dear uncle Liam and the late Catherine Ennis back in '93, live at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
I've always loved the combination of pipes & organ (having heard for the first time many years ago when Liam and my mother, who is a truly gifted pianist and organist, would perform together at midnight mass in the Curragh, Co. Kildare - what a highlight that was for me as a wee young lad)
Liam & Catherine are performing a jig written by Handel (yes, the great 18th Century composer!). I'm sure back in '93 it was a rarity to hear an uilleann piper perform with an organist at the NCH, let alone a jig composed by Handel!
