Waiting for mine to arrive from Amazon. Your videos were a bit part of my decision to get it. Looks like a great little tent. Thank you

Love my little tipi. I primarily use it guiding moose hunts in the fall and shed hunting in the spring. I will have to try it out early canoe season next year. I just don’t want to portage a stove.

Thanks for watching. There are lots of lighter stoves out there…the price of some, yikes. Good luck. It is nice to have a warm lodge wherever you go.

    Great thumbnail picture,
Can’t beat a hot tent, it’s just great, cosy. Warm, dry and comfortable. Plus the kit drying ability is great too.
I tend to have a very small carbon monoxide detector when I use mine, just for presence of mind really.
( tend to fall asleep watching it, and wake through the night tossing a long lasting log in. )

Yes drying outyour things as needed was great. This tent doesn’t have any sort of loops or riggings so you can hang stuff at the peak…probably for good reason so you don’t and have something drop on the stove and cause a tent fire. I managed to loop a rubber band around the tent pole and dry out a pair of soaked socks from a boat rescue. So great. The edge of the tent fabric doesn’t come flush with the ground on the side where the tent is and you can feel the cold air rushing under there so I had no worries of CM. Thanks for watching.

@@3_Minutes_With_a_Maine_Guide I’ve got a row of eyelets around the peak. I threaded some cord around that so I can dry stuff on the other side of the tent. Yes I thought that. Something dropping into the stove wouldn’t be ideal.
Good idea with the rubber bands. Those wire niteze things work great for lanterns etc, so the could work as a drying rack too
Keep up the great padding videos.

I'm happy that you're happy. I bought the tent. My stove (Kni-co) is too big a stove pipe. I want the titanium but the $$$$ hurts. Thanks for the video.

Wish I was in there with you Lisa. Whispering jokes and stories to each other laughing into our pillows as not to wake any one. Thanks for bringing us along. We romanticize, forgetting the hardships and remember only the fun and exciting parts. I don't think there could be a better endorsement, if Lisa likes it me likes it. Thanks for distracting my attention from the day to days horrors of what our world is becoming.

Thats really cool, i mean warm lol. The titanium stovepipe looks pretty. Are you familiar with the super shelter concept using plastic sheeting? Do you know of any portage friendly systems similar to this hot tent? Im thinking about making something like this with a coffee can and dryer hose.
