    This new journey begins with the introduction of Bean Stock 2.0. This lightweight and affordable model keeps everything you love about Bean - the one-piece fiberglass shell, the craftsmanship, the durability …. without using cheap plywood or flimsy aluminum. Love the Bean Stock. For those looking for a simplified version of the other Bean offerings.

    Just looking at your products alone they look great. But seeing this video showcasing your process, your dedication, your care regarding the products you produce, as well as the people who produce them, makes me want to patronize your company even more! Bean just moved to the top of my list as I consider travel trailers!

    I love this video. It will make it a great link for all the people that ask us about our Meaner Bean but don't have the horsepower to tow one.
    We love our rear galley but added a fender table a couple of years ago. We use it for serving and making sandwiches... I can easily imagine it replacing the galley countertop, especially with the plow grill nearby, and having the instant awning.
    Honestly, the 180 awning would be another good choice, especially for people who often camp in one spot for a few days. I set up our fender table and 180 awning at 90% of our camps even if it's just for one night. It takes less than 5 minutes. I could literally do it blindfolded.
    I can also imagine the advantages of basing the electrical system on a portable power station. We carry a smaller one as backup and have used it more than once as our primary power source along with solar. Simple and versatile.
    I'd want a sturdy vented canvas bag for that ICECO location.
    Bean trailers are unparalleled in design, materials, and construction. Our factory tour and subsequent purchase experience was awesome. They also have some of the best customer service I've ever heard of.
    It's just my opinion after more than 3 years of ownership during all season camping.

      "I'd want a sturdy vented canvas bag for that ICECO location." Anything in particular that you'd recommend? I've been wondering if I should try to figure out something lightweight that would still protect it a bit, or something a bit more heavy duty (with more weight). We have a Stock 2.0 coming the end of this summer.

    Love the Bean Stock 2.0. Definitely my number one trailer on the market for value, price, and the quality you get. Love the design and options. Those planning to put a fridge on the front rack, be aware everything is going to get destroyed with rocks and mud flipping up from the vehicle. Not the best place to put a fridge.

      We have been testing it for months. Can get dirty but has proven very resilient. It does have to be a weatherized frig and there are very few of those.

    Sorry I missed the Bean roadshow that passed through Fresno, Ca. My 2 cents on this new trailer. Great concept and response to consumer demand. Loss of the galley is a tough one. While the side kitchen I’m sure is functional, rear galley’s are a big part of the teardrop romance. I agree with Playing With Sticks on a couple of points. Power box should be an option. A Bean Stalk 2:1 should be a highway version. The frame is a huge overkill for basic campers. And the tables are just too expensive. A suggestion-design and make a Bean chuck box. That hanging pouch is kind of embarrassing. I do like trailer and story.

    I don't understand how the basic Bean Stalker galley adds $15k over this. I feel like Bean Stalker should be more affordable

    • @mark-di5pf

      Everything is standard on Stalker(galley, inverter, hatch, awning, 2nd door, etc) nothing is standard on Stock 2.0. The 2 sided fiberglass hatch and galley cost thousands of dollars to manufacturer. Those are eliminated from Stock 2.0.

    • @pcoate1
      @pcoate1 3 місяці тому +1

      @@mark-di5pf Thanks for the extra info! I figured it would take a few thousand for the galley/second door. Almost sounds like a stripped Bean Stalker could be as low as $20k?

      I also assume the 2.0 electrical system is a simplified cost savings. Our Meaner Bean's electrical system appears to be pretty complex with multiple 110AC and 12v circuits, outlets, power ports, USB.. a lot of wiring. I'm guessing everything for the 2.0 is at the power station, other than some basic 12v lighting.

    Tha trailer you're seeing in the video costs well above the $17,000ish price they're quoting due to all the options added, like the side table, awning, roof rack and more. The vid is misleading. Still a good product with practicle and creative solutions, but its price, when equipped as shown, approaches the mid $20,000s, at least. I'd also worry about the external fridge getting stolen.

    • @mark-di5pf
      @mark-di5pf 2 місяці тому

      I think it is interesting when people say it is 'misleading' to publish the starting price of our trailers. As if it is an injustice to those that want more features to inform those that need and want less. Stock 2.0 is targeted at experienced tent campers who have dialed in their kit over many years and want to use it instead of getting more kit from us. Those people can get a well build trailer, that will last generations for under $20K and use their own proven gear(stove, frig, tables, etc.). Those that want and need more options can get those also and their price will average in the low twenties. Regardless, both of those buyers will get more capability, refinement and durability for that money than anything they can get anywhere else in the industry.

    • @christinepratt4656
      @christinepratt4656 2 місяці тому

      @@mark-di5pf Hello. It would not be misleading if you showed the trailer as it comes for the price you quoted and also mentioned the price of the trailer as it is shown in at least 90% of the video. That would more realistically give folks an idea of the price range and not just the rock bottom price. You make a nice product. May as well be straightforward with folks.

    • @mark-di5pf
      @mark-di5pf 2 місяці тому +1

      @@christinepratt4656 I guess people hear what they want to hear and see what they want to see. At the 4:20 mark Drew clearly says that the 'trailer starts at $16k and averages $20K'. We show video of the trailers we have which are our testing trailers optioned as we see fit for testing. We are proud of our pricing for this trailer that averages in the $20K. May be the title of our next video about this trailer will be " CAN YOU BELEIVE THAT YOU CAN GET A TRAILER WITH A ONE PIECE FIBERGLASS SHELL FOR THE MID $20K?"
