You can see the manufacturer of Parker and Waterman inks in the underside of the cardboard case. Both are made by Newell in France. If they also look the same...
Thank you for the review. Congratulations on finishing the ink bottles, not to mention your mellifluous voice. Mostly, people keep hoarding inks and find it hard to finish them. I can’t blame them as the temptation is too big sometimes. Blue inks never go out of fashion. Cheers! :)
Thank you for your kind comment! :D I do feel it is a bit of an achievement when a bottle is finished, and aim to do it more often. Yes, it is hard to pass up on all the different inks that are available. I agree, blue is lovely! I originally thought I would only want to write with black ink... that has truly changes now! Thank you for watching & commenting! :)
I agree with you on the Waterman Serenity Blue and Intense Black. My other favorites are vintage Parker Royal Blue and Blue Bkack Quink, both permanent inks. Also J Herbin Eclat De Saphir, DeAtramentis Jane Austin, Organics Studio Aldous Huxley, and Noodler's La Couleur Royale.
I've been working on my bottle of black ink (noodlers dark matter) for two years now and it's still half full, and it's the ink I use every day lol. I mostly get samples now so I can have fun but not over commit. Diamine writers blood is another favourite, but I only got the 30 ml bottle. My favourite blue ink is pilot's kon-peki (of which I also have a way too big a bottle of) 😅
Thank you for commenting and sharing your most used inks! I have never tried noodlers dark matter, but it sounds like you've made more progress on your black in than I have. I still have a lot of my Waterman intense black left haha Yes, samples are a great way to try different inks with out the commitment a bottle brings! Oh, I have Diamine writers blood! That reminds me, maybe I can put it in a pen next month! I have a 80ml bottle haha Pilot's kon-peki is beautiful! I also have a huge bottle and think I will spend more time with it this year. 😄
My favorite is J Herbin Poussier de lune. Unfortunately It's hard to get these days. I used it all up when writing up to 20 pages per day a decade ago. I love dusty purples. People think fountain ink is expensive but I dare them to use a single bottle. I had 30ml bottle and it lasted me a few months lol. I'm still in the hobby but I write more than I used to. I don't write journals just helps me brainstorm as the only other substitute is talking to myself lol.😅
@@MitchellJBridges I googled J Herbin Poussier de lune & it looks lovely!! If you're in Australia, I see that it is still available for sale at Bookbinders. ☺ I've been getting more into purples but have a long way to go - dusty purples do have an appeal for sure! That's great! I definitely enjoy writing over typing. It sounds like your pens & inks are well loved! Thank you so much for watching & sharing your experience! ☺
Diamine Oxford Blue is a gorgeous blue black. I love Serenity too.. Blues are a fav of mine. I also love iroshizuku asa gao, Diamine Sargasso Sea, Pilot BlueBlack, and Pilot Namiki Blue.. the last two are underrated.
I appreciate blue inks! :) Thank you for sharing your favourites! ☺I actually have the first 3 you listed... thank you for the reminder to use them! I haven't heard o Pilot Namiki Blue. Is the formula similar to Pilot/Iroshizuku inks? Thank you for watching & commenting! ☺
Hey Lily, thanks for sharing! I agree, 80 ml is a lot of ink! Quite a few people I know use the inks for „watercoloring“ to use them up. I‘d love to see more videos. If you‘re looking for a prompt, starting today there‘s a new #8penquestions prompt going around. It was started by @ lianelikes and @ seemownay last year and they‘ve brought it back to life this year. I‘d love to hear your story, join in if you like.
Hi! Haha yes, 80ml is a lot more than is needed I think! I purchased 80ml ink bottles near the beginning of my pen & ink journey, but I am wiser now haha. Yes, I have seen some videos on using fountain pen inks for watercoloring! It looks so good! I haven't tried it myself though, have you? Ouuu I will have a look into that tag, thank you! I plan to make more videos! ☺ I hope you will enjoy them too! Thank you so much for watching & commenting! 🌟⭐
You have such a great voice to listen too. I really enjoyed your description of the inks and your journey. Hope you keep making more videos. Good luck 👍
Like you, I have paired down to blue & black inks for my most used inks. Top 5 used inks: Diamine Prussian Blue, Noodler's Raven Black (discontinued,) Diamine Rushbrooke Blue (Scriptus Pen Show exclusive,) Pilot Iroshizuku Asagao, and Noodler's Liberty Elysium.
Hi! I have more inks actually haha I have just used these the most... I do one day want a more curated selection though. ☺ Thank you for sharing your top 5! Diamine's Prussian Blue is on my to-try-one-day ink list! It looks like my kind of colour! I have the Pilot Iroshizuku Asagao, and I think it looks quite close to Waterman's serenity blue but a bit more pigmented! I plan to use it more this year. I hope you have lots left of Noodler's Raven Black since it is discontinued! Thank you for watching & commenting!

I like your ink selection! I only use Pilot Blue Black and Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo (Moonlight)
Thank you! Oh, nice. Thank you for sharing. I have a bottle of Pilot Blue Black, this is a great reminder for me to open mine to try! :)
Really really enjoyed your video
Thank you for watching & commenting! ☺
Waterman inks are gentle on pen like the Pilot Iroshizuku inks. Like both of them.
Yes, both brands are wet as well (in my experience). I also like both! Thanks for watching & commenting! :)
I just like your vibe
Thank you! Thanks also for watching & commenting! 😊
Thanks. Nice video.

Can you recommend me any blue ink that shades ❤
Ink Institute Cat at Dawn looks like a lovely shading ink! I don’t have it but I have seen it. :)
❤
wtf, why do you have only 30 subscribers?
😄 thanks for watching & commenting!
Just FYI it’s pronounced Dya-mine - rhymes with “fine”.
Thank you! :)
