iRacing nailed it - raindrops on windshield needs improvement and rain-lights from the cars needs to be brighter. But the feeling of the puddles in the ffb and the different grip levels are absolutely awesome! Just wow 👍
Yeah after playing ams 2 the lights in iracing look ass... but then again the entire game does so the rain still looks really good for their standards
@@dinonuggies2276 i never thought Iracing looked that bad maxed out.
@@younghumphrey06 it doesnt look extremely awful especially compared to something like raceroom wich i would even call unplayable, but also not "good" like... gran turismo 7? Dont really know a great looking sim lol
A lot of people call it "realistic" looking and i kinda get that. But theres no real colors with everything looking undersaturated and theres no reflections or lighting at all. And a huge yellow tint to the point where im using my amd software to "cool" the image a ton. Still looks good for a game thats over 10 years old i guess. That being said i still think its ridiculous when people say the graphics look amazing and i get the feeling a lot of these fanboying simracers never played any recent aaa games
@@dinonuggies2276 first and foremost im sorta old and might have played GT1 on PS1. With that said Gran Turismo has been the pinnacle in visuals since . Iracing is a simulator and visuals will never be first priority I call it sterile or bland but very clean with many simulations applied. Also with todays hardware GPU wise and they are noted to have vested in the graphics for the sim it should be very acceptable overall. I love the verity its like real ass racing ive learnd new stuff as a older one. PS> the whole Over/Under steer/ no chance of recovery is heartbreaking.
In comparison to other sims looks aged but I personally never cared much about that side in iRacing and as I play it from 2011, I guess I’m used to it 😁
So hyped for tomorrow and the start of the season! Feels like a new game with the weather system! Can’t wait for your new content with rain on the horizon! 😊
Love the new challenge man💪
It’s like new game 😃
This is the review I've been waiting on. I think a lot of the other reviews have been comparing iRacing in the dry vs iRacing in the wet rather than comparing the realism of wet conditions across all the main sims. You've done them all and have mucho experience. I love how enthusiastic you get when big changes come to sim racing, whether that is with the game or with the hardware. May your enjoyment never fade brother 😊
Checkout Daniel Morad as well.
Thanks for the kind post man 🍺
I just love this sim world
Dude I'm loving the rain 🌧 definitely a game changer
Me too man 😀
Of those tracks i tried during last week, Sebring was by far the slippiest one for me. Insane experience! Thanks for sharing your thoughts RBM 🙂
It is the only one I’ve tried and was fun 😁
Let’s get ready for the 12h race 💪
Wheel looks beautiful 😍
Its from VPG Sim.. Amazing piece of kit!
@@Rene_Bo ;)
Love your POV it looks amazing!
Thx buddy 🤛
Love ur vids and passion for this 🎉🎉🎉 keep it up
Thx buddy 🤛
That is one hell of a setup you have. I was more interested in your kit. Amazing 😍
Cheers buddy 🤛
They really nailed it with the rain
As always a pleasure to watch your vids👍👍👍👍👍
They did indeed bro 😃
Love it wet model it’s spot on steli. Hope you are well my friend
It is absolutely insane Jaime 😃 the waiting worth all those years for sure bro 💪
Love your videos man!
Cheers mate 🤛
i love the update, super cool to relearn how to drive in wet as i used to drive acc only.
I love new challenges too buddy 😃
You haven't been here for a long time, maestro.
I had few exiting weeks out of the rig 😁
Finally, a Porsche at 1:28 hahaha 🙂 I love your split screen. Maybe you can put in your data from gas and breaking and rpm and speed or pedal work 🙂 Btw. may i ask with how many fps do you play, and which inch size your 3 monitors have?
I like the addition of the wet weather. I think a lot of dry weather hot lappers are going to get humbled now. 😂
That’s true 😁
as always, amazing... buddy 🤜🤛🍻
Cheers buddy 🤛
Beautiful
It's sure a step forward to now have rain in Iracing aswell. But honestly: the water spray from the car in front looks like he drags along a wedding dress 😂
🤣🤣🤣
True
Great Video Brother! Asking for your feedback, how does VNM Lite compare to P1000? Planning to replace my Sprints. (got it from a bundle and hated how short the travel is on the brake) I'm considering the VNM Lites + Simagic Haptics or P1000 Inverted + Haptics. lemme know your thoughts!
P1000 inverted are my favorite pedals buddy!
I hope this pushes Reiza improve AMS2 rain.
Hope every developer will take notice 😃
I love the rain. its a real challenge and can be a good leveler..... for now at least!
Let’s see what will cost in terms of irating 🤣
@@chepilevski Oh Forget the Irating... i will end up driving Formula Vee after this season :D
1st 💪🏻
Gold medal 🥇 😁
Maybe I should give iRacing a try with this new update, altough I am currently in love with ACC😄I've also seen your setup video, where you show your interesting idea of decoupling your wheel from the motion platform. Were there specific reasons, why you only decoupled the wheel and not the pedals?
The pedals are hard to be set separately but also I prefer to have them attached and let my body move around the wheel and screens as it happens in real car buddy 🤛
Try it buddy, just awesome 👍
What base are you using? Have you fully converted to simagic or are you still using simucube
Hey my friend, when are you trying Le Mans Ultimate? Would love to hear your opinion about it :)
That wheel!!! 😍😍😍
If they are able to get the wet physics so good, I wonder why the dry isn't better? Do you think there will be an update to dry coming soon?
Man, that’s what I’m thinking the last day as if that’s possible with the wet tires, they can definitely improve the window limits on slicks 😃
Hope to see that happens
@@chepilevski Hey, at least they made the grass more slippery with the last update,...so there is that. Quote. "Grass slipperiness has been increased slightly for both dry and wet situations."
@@mementomori4972some of us will end the race on the grass 😁
Steliyan, I'm returning to the scene after 3 years :) See you on the track my friend
That’s awesome to hear Christoforo 💪😃
@@chepilevski rusty as as tesla cybertruck though. I am in the business of ballet spinning right now haha
Your setup is so much more realistic than the @#% graphics of iRacing LOL.
😁
And dude I LOVE your content. So amazing man. You have so much artistic talent @@chepilevski . Freaking awesome.
@@atticushexcel9567 wow 🤗
Thanks for the kind words man !
It means a lot 🍻
well done Cheppi.. but tell a little more about the seven turns :D
😁
They are difficult bro 😁
I focused on iRacing lately and it seems that timing couldn't be better. I am driving a Porsche all across the classes and I love it. Rain is awesome, dynamic and super realistic.
Great video as always man. Keep it up.
P.S. what is that wheel you rocki'n there?
That’s the VP-GT steering wheel buddy 🤛
Are you going to do a video on Le Mans Ultimate? I would like to hear your opinion.
I still haven’t got the chance to test it and so many people talk great things about it 😃
Must do it soon 💪
@@chepilevski I don't really enjoy playing other sims after it now hah
Finally iRacing has rain! Finally finally finally! Need to try it out before my month subscription is cancelled in 2 weeks time.
It looks like most of the people really like the experience man 😃
4th, dang...missed podium...
Award for the hard work 🎊🍺😁
What's your favorite driving sim Steliyan?
I’m still fan of iRacing as that’s my main sim for over 10 years buddy 🤛
@chepilevski I feel you brother. Michelle says hi! We will see you soon my friend at one of these expos for sure.
ты понимаешь по-русски, брат?))) ты очень крутой!
I have been simracing since 2008 and in iRacing since 2014 more or less, and this might force my retirement. Yes, I have been simracing for a long time but I am not really good. I like it, but I am just not very talented. I can barely handle a race after many many hours of practice in fairly similar conditions. Changing track temperature is already hard for me to manage. This is just too hard for me 😢 I feel everybody is super excited about this but for some of us this is not good news.
Yeah, everybody is exited because it's a new thing and "all the other sims have rain", even though they don't actually have rain,....but once the honeymoon phase is over, many will learn that they don't really like to race in the rain. I race in the sim to relax and to have fun, but this is not fun for me. It's just stressful. Let's see how it's going to be implemented in the schedule. I think rain is going to be the exception and not the rule. What pizzes me off a bit is that we all of a sudden have races with 100% relative air humidity which is horrible for grip, but no fog and zero % chance of rain (I hope this is just a week 13 thing) and that they made the gras more slippery in the last update. The tire model was unrealistically unforgiving even before that, so I don't really understand what the goal here is.
There will still be plenty of dry races every week.
@@Daz555Daz As I understood it, every race can potentially have rain, except for Rookie league. Also, I really enjoy endurance races and special events and they will 100% have rain at some point.
@@Daz555Daz What does "plenty of" mean? I just hope they keep it realistic and don't over use the feature.
Oh man, I hope you will find the fun part of this as I know all this can become very frustrating 🙈
3rd 🎉
Bronze medal 🥉 🤛🍻
Max lens mod??
No buddy, that’s with the GoPro in 4:3 aspect ratio which have bit more vertical view 😃
I use that first time 😁

I have to listen to your videos at 1.25 play speed 😂
Try it...
Am I on helium 🤣
@@chepilevski at 1.25 speed you sound the same. You just speak a little quicker like you've had 5 cups of coffee
@@WiIdFx 😂
@@WiIdFx 🤣🤣🤣
@@chepilevski did you actually try it LOL
I don’t understand the hype.this is going to be KAOS. Sometimes races a red flagged when it rains. There is a reason for that.
It won’t be too much raining I hope and will match probably mostly the real world conditions .
It is fun to know there will be a chance for it and will add some uncertainty.
Let’s see how will evolve
Bro, I see you more and more sitting at a table, getting drunk, thinking about life, rubbing your head. What bothers you (besides the racing dramas hunting you)?
🤣🤣🤣
It’s funny because people who know me, know I don’t drink alcohol at all 🤣🤣🤣
Hollywood stuff 😄
@@chepilevski the tension, the struggle, should I go with Simucube? God, but Asetek is good aswell...I'm alone, it's about life and death.... the Apex, why is it me that has to carry this burden...(I totally was with you, kind of "will it be war? Will I safe the world? Should I add the rumble motors?...😂
I wished there were other people who stream and on UA-cam that take your attitude towards not pretending to know about certain scenarios in sim/real racing. There's a certain people who have the answers to everything yet got no experience in real world driving on track at all. Annoys me how they can say this is right and this is wrong
I prefer to learn from you guys about topics I don’t know or understand instead sharing wrong information😃
Your content is great.
iRacing's refusal to put money into developing an updated graphics engine and user interface is criminal.
But who cares right?
Subs just keep on drinking the koolaid and they have no real competitors except ACC.
One thing about simracing is the absolutely intractable nature of the culture.
People prefer more tracks and skins rather than better netcode, interfaces, and latency.
Really stupid.
I spent more hours trying to get iRacing setup than I did driving for the first 2 months.
Many of my first races were ruined because of trash netcode.
In the last few months iRacing have said they've put a team together specifically to work on the graphics. I doubt we'll see it in the next year but they *are* investing in the future.
You are right. I will never pay a monthly fee to race, especially for a game with potato graphics like iracing.
Graphics are not important when realism, performance and competition are the main goals. Assetto corsa is the way to go for a lonely, beautiful experience.
Netcode destroyed my last championship and is really frustrating indeed 🙈
What's wrong with the interface? Like seriously? Of all the sims I tried so far, iRacing is the one which gave me the least difficulties in getting it set up and running correctly. I couldn't race in AMS2 for a month because it wouldn't recognize my steering axis and it lose my pedal calibration randomly. It would also often crash when I loaded into a race. Assetto Corsa would crash every time I quit the game and I couldn't launch it on my desktop. Always had to run the bloated steam software in the background and VR implementation was a joke. ACC looked like a potato game when I tried VR and the performance with a last gen mid range GPU was horrendous on triple screens,...not even going into the pain in the butt of setting them up. Neither of the sims gave me what I really wanted. Good, competitive and fair online racing on an 30min to 1h schedule. Almost gave up racing entirely, until I bit the bullet and tried iRacing. Setting it up was so easy, I couldnt believe it. Switching between triples and VR is one(!!!) mouse click and VR works and looks fantastic. It's plug and play! You have online racing 24h a day and this is what it's all about. It's maintained and updated constantly! No third party mods. Everything is high quality content and if you crank the graphics settings up, it looks really good. You have the evidence right here in this video, so I don't even know what you're talking about. You're right about one thing. iRacing has no real competitors and that's why it's so popular.
