Well I had to take the headset off first time lol then I managed to pluck up the courage to do it but my hands were sweating like crazy, same thing happened when I did the pipe climbing in Vader, guess I am not too good with heights haha! :) Not tried the other route yet but I will have to give it a go, probably going to torture myself some more when that Richies Plank game comes out lol!
Bro, you need more views . I will share your video with my mates to get a little tiny word out, but as I'm the only one of my friends that even knows VR exists I'm confident it will be tiny hahaha. All of that aside i really enjoy your video content and i watch youtube at least 25 hours a week. i have had a Gear VR since i first tried modern VR on a Rift more than 2 years ago. My Gear VR was great except that my controller constantly dropped out and caused a restart. i still loved it though but never used it because of that problem breaking immersion. Your videos have reignited my passion and i get my Quest here in Australia 2 sleeps from now haha. I hope its all you said it will be. i know it will haha. I'll comment on a future video to let you know how i go. Regards, Dolf
@@BMFVR Bro I got my quest and I love it. I have a play space in my gym during my lunch break and it's perfect. I use like a 30ft by 30ft play area and it's the best. Since I got my quest I've converted 2 mates and they already have their own and one more who is waiting on back order. The future is here hahaha. Keep up the good work :)
Just picked this up and didn't realize it was so old! Looks OK on Quest 3 but still only 2 areas, Machu Picho & Antarctica. Also there is a problem when using headphones, the sound is distorted its horrible. I wonder how I can contact the devs??
Its to bad some developers are not giving us the consideration of having free locomotion for those of us that don't get motion sick. I mean how hard is it to include that option for those of us that want it. There's all kinds of motion going on in this game with the boating and climbing the ice walls but soon as it comes to walking, nope you have to teleport, we are either to lazy or to inconsiderate to include free movement for walking.
How do I see all the photos I took? I wanted them on my phone. I also framed all the pics and took a picture of that too. I cannot figure out how to get them.
Hi could you tell me how I share the photos that I took in this app on my Occulus Quest 2 when I was in the Antarctica and also Masshu Picchu, Peru? I am wanting to share them on my Facebook page but can't figure out how to do it on the headset. Thank you for any assistance.
Hey please help me out. Once I get in the water the thing doesn't steer and I can't take pics. Do have any idea why want to figure it out before xmas for my son
Loved this one. Only issue was that my kayak’s orientation kept getting messed up. Have any experience with that? It probably happened because I kept trying to fight the current and ended up running into things as such.
I’m getting my quest tomorrow and so excited I’ve watched this video 10 times
Pro trick: you can watch series on flixzone. I've been using it for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Landen Nixon yup, have been watching on flixzone for months myself :)
I would like to see VR games for hiking in the mountains of some of the US national parks.
@Surjo nature trecks vr is on the oculus store
Picking up my Quest today. Thanks for giving me lots of essential info
I enjoyed playing this one, was a lot of fun and I am ashamed to admit my legs went like jelly when doing the ice pick climb lol!

I think watching others play that will be the most fun, cant wait! :)

Great review. Is it possible to mount the controllers to a real paddle, in order to get a more realistic feel when padling?
Fellow Mainer here!
Great content mate, keep it up!
I am thinking about getting one set
Not sure if you mentioned it but how was the sound? Ambient sounds make you feel more immersive than visuals. How was the sound?
@@BMFVR wind or air? Cracking of ice? Things like that?
Woah I want to try this
No new content has been added. Shame as we need more of this type of experience on the best vr headset available the quest
@@BMFVR they taking their time. I used the gear vr for last 3 years ad and its got lots of content.
I found the ice pick climbing really buggy
Great content subs
Fun games

Does this have free locomotion or is it all teleporting when walking.
HI I would like to know, if there is a video where you could create a content to improve the resolution of the VR experience?
Cool

Yeah Hey did you figure it out I can't maneuver the thing or take pics I think something is wrong
They don't allow u to wander off course in the kayak. Route is controlled 😅
Hi, why u play around the curtain?
I loved the game but I was hoping that there would be more content. I only have Antarctica.
@@BMFVR I agree. Very enjoyable.
Who is the freaking idiot who keeps thumbing down BMF's reviews??!! Prob jealous, haha!
National Geographic Explore VR fanboy. haha
