The thing about Jollibee’s chicken is that it doesn’t matter if they’re crispy or not, they’re still yummy and enjoyable to eat.

The sad thing is idk if it's just me and my friends but their jolly spaghetti is somehow... Idk to explain but something is lacking unlike before.
Still delicious but something is missing.
Also, my 100 peso allowance is always on the edge couz sometimes we can't help but buy one, so sometimes I just walk home haha

They usually give lemon juice packets.
Probably didn't notice the calamansi&fish sauce packet that came with the palabok bag. That's the only issue i got with their palabok is that u have to ask for them or new ppl don't know they're supposed to use it. Jollibee should tape the calamansi&fish sauce packets on top of the box so that ppl will notice it's supposed to mix it. The same with the spaghetti needing a packet of fish sauce mixed with it. Noticed that there's the Pineapple juice in his order but didn't drink it on video.
when he eats the palabok without any citrus kick on it, I thought he's missing out on the experience.. But when he took out the pickles! Right then and there I knew he's onto something.. Acid is what a Palabok needs..and the pickles delivered it.
His enthusiasm is exactly how a filipino feels like inside when they get to finally eat Jollibee again after so many years of homesickness 🥳

In the US they provide lemon juice in ketchup packets. They probably ran out. Supply issues etc.

There are only two Jollibee's currently in the state of Florida (where I'm from), and my best friend and I visited both of them for the first time each during this pandemic because we heard nothing but good things about the food. And we were absolutely NOT disappointed. Jollibee's fried chicken is soooo much better than KFC or Popeye's fried chicken. We drove more than an hour and a half out of our way to get some Jollibee's, but it was worth it!

That would be nice but I think they are only using Filipino models/celebrities as endorser in the spirit of it being the only filipino fastfood. I remember that a famous Kpop artist named sandara park love jolibee so much that she brought her friends that are also kpop artist to jolibee but they could not use her as an endoser since she is Korean.

@@kutchero You need to eat the fries early on for that crispy and crunchy texture that you can only get for the first 10-15 mins after frying. Any more than that, Jollibee fries suffers in quality.

It's pretty damn good, you won't regret it. I'd argue they have some of the best fried chicken around, they have reg and spicy, AND you automatically get a flavorful gravy to dip it in, AAAAAND they only sell dark meat.

Mikey also did the power hex regards Jollibee offering a spicy version of their Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, they offer exactly that at the Chandler, AZ store! I didn't know that they existed here but spouse tried them while I was on assignment out of state. No Halo-halo, but the chicken w/ gravy was killer today.
Filipinos love soup as side dish. Maybe we use the gravy as soup substitute. I've certainly poured gravy at KFC or Jollibee over my rice🤣

Yea, I remember them being crunchy when I was little, and piping hot on the inside. The pies aren't terrible now, but it was better before.

I tried it after coming back from San Diego last summer...I wasn't impressed. Peach mango pie (I bought 10 cuz I love mango! I had to force myself to eat them.), fried chicken, polabok...I was so disappointed. They don't even have a calamansi drink!

Love Jollibee. My hubby and I can't share the mango peach pie. OBSESSED with it. All their food is amazing especially when made fresh. My family and I always get a bag full of those pies plus their family meals. Totally worth every penny!

Growing up, most of us Filipinos love having sweet sauce for our spaghetti. Apparently, Jollibee takes the kids into consideration here that's why they haven't made their spaghetti spicy or what not. One more thing, like the halo-halo, mix the spaghetti and pancit palabok well. 🙂
a friend who used to work for when I was in high school said that jolibee's target market here in the Philippines are the kids. But seeing that those kids are now adults and most grew up with jollibee, many craves this as adults because it reminds us of our childhood.
I really gotta stop watching these videos when I'm on a diet...

Mcdonald's used to have crispy deep fried pies like that, and they still do in many countries. But years ago they switched to baked pies in the US, because people think it's "healthier". :-(

Sometimes I buy both the Jollibee peach mango pie and the Mcdonalds apple pie since they're both crispy in the Philippines. I think there's also a coconut pie and a chocolate pie.
