Isn’t Loa Gan Ma kind of the “New Sriracha” at the moment. I think for Gochujang it needs to be a particular brand for it to go viral not just a generic paste. Personally I love the stuff especially for Fire Chicken.
Fast food in Australia and New Zealand basically all of asia is legions better than the US. I've come to accept that our quality control here for food is mid-tier and the bottom of the first world at best.

It literally makes almost everything taste so much better. I put it on everything like the hot dogs you mentioned, and pizza, pasta, burgers, nachos, fries, tacos, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, salad, fried chicken, baked potatoes, you name it! haha It's a mystery to me how kimchi goes so well with almost any cuisine.
I can''t believe you haven't had saemaeul sikdang (the last place). That is everywhere in Korea. It is definitely one of the best korean bbq and is affordable too! Shake Shack in the US has rolled out the chicken and sauce. Sadly the sandwiches weren't available at my location today, but they had the sauce for fries and chicken nuggets. The sauce is indeed incredible! My chicken batter was amazing.
