  • Welcome to this video. This is my first time Wild Camping in the Peak District.
Warren from ‪@Linleys‬ planned a 10 mile Hike around some of Kinder Scout, starting in Hayfield and taking in the Edale Cross, Following the Pennine way along to Edale Rocks, Kinder Low, Kinder Downfall, with a wild camp on Sandy Heys. And then coming down from the Peaks following the famous William Clough path.
The Purple Heather was in full bloom and the rugged landscape was amazing.
    Thanks Warren.

I salute the protesters of 1932, kindred spirits all of them, for it is people like them that gave the good fight, for our freedom to roam. We here in NZ are of the same stock and we would do the same thing if our rights were infringed upon. Indeed, we have done much the same thing, over the years. Thank you for taking us on your journey and the history lesson. Enjoyed the video. ATB Cheers from the mountains of NZ ☺☺

Brilliant video, really enjoyed it! I went to the Peak District for the first time last year, just me and my Teenage Son, we went to a beautiful village called Castleton, hiked to the top of Mam Tor and did a wild camp, it was awesome!

Great trek Dan, beautiful views, great camera work, been ages since i was up there, keep up the great work, also i would like to add that we do still have to protect our free spaces, they are trying to take parts of Dartmoor away from us now !!!!

Another brilliant video Dan. Was it that last baguette or the birthday cake that caught up with you🤔 Looked a tricky walk up & down but well worth it. The views were spectacular I loved the waterfalls. I bet the pies and custard was the perfect ending to a great evening. Was it a shock to see the sheep in the morning? Brilliant all round trek! 💖

Thank you. It was an amazing trip. I'm glad I finally managed to see the place.
The sheep were around a lot, so it was no surprise to see them. They enjoy the sheltered flat areas, too. So they usually turn up to see who's in their spot. 😁
