we all had a Datto growin up be it a 1200,1600 or a 180B,just a fun lil car and the 1600 was awesome around the back roads of The Basin ,they handled as good on or off the bitumen

I had a datto 1200 around 20 years ago with a sc14 on a switch but had a micro switch on the throttle so it wouldn't kick it till it was past a qtr throttle. That way when the throttles snapped shut the Webber's wouldn't flood the crap out of it. I was running 10 psi on standard engines and would sometimes throw my good head on it with a big cam. It would only make 6 psi that way but had more torque. The throttle switch solved the blow off valve hissing until throttle went back down too. That was an awesome memory you just brought back man. Love the car

I just stumbled across your video. So much YESSSSSS! I've got a 69 510 2door that was l20b swapped. And I've been messing with the idea of a supercharger. You NEVER see that. I have a few other ideas,but I'm not saying nothing... thanks for sharing this car.. love it
