This premier cru lies in the South of Satin-Aubin with a S/E exposition and on a small slope between 250-340m. The top soil is 50cm deep and red with iron and has some small stones. The subsoil is limestone, a little marl, but mainly limestone. The wine has a minerality and Jean-Baptiste describes it is a mineral and tight wine, which is interesting after 4 to 5 years, more accessible sooner than Puligny or Chassagne, although you can wait longer.
