I was 13 when this happened and it was in the middle of July too. Most of my family lives in Maryland and we live across the country so we always go to visit them around holidays. My dad didn't usually go because the family in Maryland is mostly on my mom's side. Ok so we were driving home at night from my cousin's house that was about 30 minutes away from my grandpa's house where we usually stay. My mom noticed a car that seem to be following us right on our tail. I thought nothing of it. As soon as we turned onto the neighborhood where my grandpa lives, it was still following us. His house is on a dead end circle. As my mom and I both got out of the car, we saw the car that was following us take a U turn at he circle. Mom said it was probably just someone who got lost. The next day it happened again as it seemed to be the same car too. We were both freaked out and we went inside and tried to forget about it. After we both went to bed I woke up around three in the morning, half asleep. I heard tapping and scratching sounds at my window. I thought it was probably a branch or something and went back to sleep. Next morning after I got up I opened my curtains and stood there in shock. There was a message carved into the window saying "after I get you, you will see him". I did not know what this meant but I got my mom and she showed my that the same message was carved into her window too. We decided to leave that day. Fast forward to Thanksgiving. On the day after we got there, the message was still at the window but we covered in up with duct tape. On Thanksgiving at my aunts gave us a newspaper with an article titled something about a murder at the house to us. We were stunned. Especially because my grandpa lived in a good neighborhood for Maryland. It also said that before he killed the person living in that house, he carved a message into the victim's bedroom window. I am still truly glad that we left that morning. I probably wouldn't be alive today if we stayed.

When I was about fifteen I used to hang out with this boy who was 1 or 2 years younger than I was, he was a hansome young boy. One time we were in the lobby of Central Station with another female friend. While we were figuring out from where our train would leave a man came up to us and asked us about the same train. He looked like he didn't have a shower in a couple of days. We got on the train and ended up sitting in a stall for four people near the doors of the train, which meant there were no other people sitting there or near us. All of a sudden the man who had asked us about this train walked by. He stopped and said: " I will sit with you". I still don't know what came over me at that point, but I got a bad feeling. My girlfriend said: " Sure, go ahead" As he was making his way to sit down I put my foot on the one seat that was left and told him: "No, no you're not" and I stared him down. The man looked at the boy intently for a good 10 seconds then looked at my friend who was giving me this look like I was insane, then he looked me straight in the eyes and just walked away. My girlfriend was like: "God! You're such a bitch!" and I was still a little bit in shock and muttered: "That guy was creepy...." The boy looked at me and nodded. I have never been that assertive about anything again in my life and till this day I explain my behaviour that day as being pure instinct.....and have no regrets about it. I would like to see the weirdest medical experiments! Thanks for all your vids! XOXO
RocknRollie Always listen to your gut, girl. Even if that man didn't have any mal intentions, your reaction was absolutely fine - better safe than sorry and what we like to call a "weird feeling" should *never* be ignored, it could always be the one thing that saves your life by an Inch.
SingenStatt Atmen I think you're right about that. Fact is I have never experienced anything like that feeling again in my life. My friend still thinks the guy was absolutely fine tho. We were quite alternative looking back then ( I had green hair) and she thinks he thought he had found likeminded people lol. Still, no one was over fifteen in our company and this guy was mid-forties......
I fall asleep listening to these all the time The stories are always top notch and the lad telling the tales is easy to listen too which is great Keep up the good work

Just recently discovered this channel, you're a good reader. I've got a question though, have there been stories you considered to be interesting, but decided not to put into the show because they were too terrifying or disturbing?
I think I'm addicted to your videos. I love the creepy tone of your voice but how real it sounds too if that makes sense and I love that the stories are true. I hope you keep posting these awesome videos!
The story that fucked with me the most was the one where a group of friends were at a lake house and they Noticed something just sitting in the water and later it came closer to the cabin, and eventually it came around and was staring to their room while sleeping, it fucked with the most because I was at a lake house at the time listing to it
Yeah that one was creepy as fuck...imagine if that guy didn't have his friends there when that happened? Im surprised any of the kids would even want to go back there.
+Cain Jenkins That's one of my favorites, and it's in the volume 5 video. It's kind of sad that they never went back to the cabin, though, considering the times they had there when they were growing up. But that story is pure terror; the sort of thing that makes you legitimately afraid of the dark, and looking out windows at night. Just how I like them.
Scary true story: it was about 3:00am when this happened I was hungry and I decided I was going to make a peanut butter sandwich so I went through my hallway to get to my kitchen nothing seemed to be off about the situation except for when I went to open the cupboard and there was no peanut butter
I feel like every time the story says "I dont know what would have happened to me", what they really mean is "I know exactly what would have happened to me and don't want to think about it". 2spooky. Love the channel, great presentation!
Here is a scary story.one night when i was 12 and i had 2 friends over.we were tired and we were watching a movie 1 friend was asleep and the other was struggling staying awake.in the middle of the night around 1:00 am we heard scratching against the windows.we thought it was just wind but with my curiosity i went to look out there was no wind,so i thought it was just an animal or something.i looked down and i did see a squirrel at the bottom but i dont know how he reached the window which is at least 3 feet high.then i noticed something in the bushes close to the neighbors moving.it was wide and and it was trying to hide.i notice something eye shaped looking i noticed this was no animal it was a man hiding and he was smiling since he noticed that i spotted him in the bushes. i went up stairs without telling them because i had a feeling they would freak out.i went up stairs and locked all the doors told our parents.but when i got back down there was nothing to see no one believed me.well i just hope i never deal with this again
This is a funny spooky story that involved me. One month ago, a US FEMA rep made an unscheduled visit to my house to inquire about the recent rain damage to my home. After ringing the doorbell twice, he heard me ask who it was. After identifying himself, I asked why he showed up without calling ahead. He said he couldn't hear me too well through the door, so he saw the front door open slightly, screen door still shut. The man saw only my right hand, motioning in ways as if talking to him. After 3 min, I said I would call him later with a decision to inspect the home damage. As I dismissed him, he felt so spooked, wondering why he was talking only to my right hand. The fact is, I was naked and covered in soap behind the door. The man came by in the middle of my shower. And I chose not to ignore the doorbell as I thought it was a close friend of mine, and not him.
I have a scary true children story this never happend to me but to my brothers a couple of years ago during this the childs mom(My moms best friend) use to live with us my brothers usually stayed up until midnight or even up to 3am somewhere around this time the kid was awake and the kids mom asked my brothers if they could watch him until he fell asleep and they said yes while watching tv my brothers said the kid turned his head and looked into the kitchen (the kitchen is connected to the living room)and from what my brothers tell me he began to speak gibberish keep in mind he was probably 1 or 2 and was barely learning to talk they had moved out by now but the story still makes me tremble
Persephone' Gamers I love your sarcasm :)but its kinda creepy since my parents said that or house was abandoned before fixing our house to what it is today not including that when they walked in one of the rooms there was pictures of a small asian girl all over the walls not including some voodoo type dolls in a box inside the attic.
Ok here's a scary story thst actually happened to me i swear to god this actually happened. This happened a few years ago when i was in my middle school and my school was close to my house that I'd be home first and alone for two hours after i was done with my chores i was upstairs playing world of warcraft when i hear heavy knocking from the back door so i go down stairs thinking its my older sister coming home from soccer practice and when I'm down stairs i can see out the small bay window from are dining room that faces the backyard what i thought was my sister because of the black highschool hoodie and duffel bag but because of the tied up curtains on the sides of the window i couldn't see her face all the while the knocking just continues to be loud as it started i didn't pay this sny mind my sister was an impatient person who does something like that. But as soon as i turn the corner the knocking stops to look out the small class window on the door (i don't know if those kind of doors have a special name or something) and there is nobody there the backyard is completely empty me being 13 at time i freak the heck out double lock the doors and run up the stairs trying to calm down and forget about it. This wasn't the first or last time I've seen wierd stuff in that house (where i still live) or my life in general but it definitely did freak me out the most and can't help but be little scared when I'm up late st night watching TV or whatever and i see something out of the corner of my eye for the briefest of seconds running through my backyard but i guess thats the price to pay when you live in house built on former Hawaiian plantation ground.
Mondeli lmaooo last night I was listening to another of these videos I was looking at my children's cartoons but listening to my videos. All of a sudden I look at my phone and fucking Jesus there's was this gif of 2 black round eyes that looked so fucking creepyyyy!!!!! Made me jump a little.

I love being a new sub and hearing you be stoked about 50k subscribers. You're the voice I hear on my way to and from work everyday. Still catching up on content, hope there's a lot more!
Good call.
I love to listen to this! While editing my video's ^^
Keep up the good work!

These "True Story" videos are making me increasingly paranoid. Judging by these, there are Pedo rings everywhere.
I think the best part of listening to these stories, is how eery your voice is. I thoroughly enjoy listening to these! I look forward to them every friday!
That bit at the beginning freaked me out haha😂😂😂
I am a fan of the old Scary Stories to tell in the Dark, which your stories are the more adult version, BIG FAN! keep it up and LOVE the art work and pictures!

"I don't know what their's intentions were /are"
They surely wanted to buy u sum chocolate and offer you tea.
These stories gave me the creeps😨
yep... that's the point
Ik I'm here years later but I love your narrations I miss them I know now you do other type of real crime which I still love but I hope you make these once again. You were one of my first horror story narrators during my college years. I always return ❤
Just recently discovered this channel, you're a good reader.
I've got a question though, have there been stories you considered to be interesting, but decided not to put into the show because they were too terrifying or disturbing?
Penkeychain Yes, but only for the Deep Web video. Some of it was too much :/
Lazy Masquerade I would love to see those stories
I love your videos. I can’t go to bed without listening to one. ❤️
The scariest thing is that 2 people can go to a movie and have a dinner for 30 dollars.
+Richard Pause Wtf kind of movie theaters do you go to? Where I live, it's usually 11.50 per person.
demarius bridgeforth at least yours are $11.50 lol where I am they're $15.00
+Cain Jenkins same, that was the only one out of all these stories that made me feel uneasy
See why tech doesn't mix with nature.
Nice profile picture 😂😂😂😂
u don't understand how much i love your channel omg
Scary true story: it was about 3:00am when this happened I was hungry and I decided I was going to make a peanut butter sandwich so I went through my hallway to get to my kitchen nothing seemed to be off about the situation except for when I went to open the cupboard and there was no peanut butter
Scott Deuchars My god
I feel like every time the story says "I dont know what would have happened to me", what they really mean is "I know exactly what would have happened to me and don't want to think about it". 2spooky.
Love the channel, great presentation!
I agree 100%. Greetings and blessings from Belgium
i like watching these videos with a joint lit in my hands :)
***** Starting the weekend in style I see ;)
Nice! Now to get you to ditch the FB lameness!
Awesome video like always ;)

Poor little boy

I coughed up all the weed I was holding in at 10:08 thanks alot
Brilliant
Love the series
Such a huge fan of your a lazy masquerade!!!
Aaron Hopple Glad to hear it, pal :)
I just farted
@vikashar thanks for the update
Your content is amazing, keep up the great work
Scary encounters with children. Evil children?
Im sorry if my grammar or spelling is bad :(
Bryan Pena lol soooo scary
Persephone' Gamers I love your sarcasm :)but its kinda creepy since my parents said that or house was abandoned before fixing our house to what it is today not including that when they walked in one of the rooms there was pictures of a small asian girl all over the walls not including some voodoo type dolls in a box inside the attic.
Damian Callahan GO PALESTINE
I been enjoying your narration of stories ty
MORE PLZ WRITE MORE
scared man sings chandelier this isn't a story i wrote this actually happened me
Glad you're alright
oh yeah sorry my phone didnt show everything
I found the frying pan knock out the best part. It’s so cliche I love it, also very effective it seems. Fucking fantastic.
“The few times we met, we drank and smoked. The few times I met him, we drank and smoked.”
Once again great video, really enjoying it :D
I'm hiding in the comments while its pitch black and raining. I scroll up, see the picture.

I've been listening to your videos for a few weeks now. I really enjoy them.
But that first story is truly terrifying... That poor little boy..
R.I.P sleep for tonight... :(
Hello my bi racial friend
For some reason, what scares me most about these videos is the way that Lazy M reads the number pertaining to each story, with that hollow frightening shutter in his voice.
