I grew up with this show. I live within 5 miles of where the Alaskan Air door plug landed.. i would pay for the upgrade! One guys shoes were sucked off!!
I grew up as a kid in the ‘70’s with Carol. No matter what we were doing… we would run home on a Saturday night to watch. Good, clean fun. Tim Conway was a brilliant comedian.
You gotta see a sketch where Harvey & Tim are policemen who go "undercover" as a man (Harvey) and woman (Tim) 'couple' to catch a serial mugger in a park!
LOVE Keeping Up Appearances....and, Waiting For God.....and, Are You Being Served?....and, Vicar Of Dibley....and, Fawlty Towers!! SO MANY GREAT ONES!!
For years, they've been talking about making an American version of AbFab. I truly hope it never happens because they would ruin it with so many PC changes that it wouldn't be nearly as funny.
I grew up with The Carol Burnett show, yet I do not recall this. At any rate, it was hilarious and ranks right up there for me with the dentist, went with the wind, and the queen's guard. Thanks for another great reaction!
Loved it. Great selection. Times have definitely changed. But classics like this are still good for a laugh. Scripts were simple but effective and a lot of credit goes to the actors who could make or break the way the audience received it. Thanks guys.- Hawk
There were a couple of scenes cut I guess for TV idk - When Carol the Stewardess first appears, she is handing the passengers pillows, and asks if she can take Tim's jacket which he happily offers. She takes it, crumples it up and uses it as a second pillow for Harvey before asking Tim if he's No Frills. - After Tim is kicked back into his section the second time, Harvey pulls out and lights a cigarette and gives one to Tim. As soon as Tim lights his own cigarette, Carol comes back with a Fire Extinguisher XD (This was when smoking was allowed on planes!)
Tim Conway , he of the Dentist and Elephant skits ........had a continuing persona " The Old Man " ..in at least a dozen episodes . He performed as the Old Man .....as a western sheriff , deli clerk , counter clerk , laundry clerk .etc .......every one hilarious
By the way, the lady introducing at the beginning is Carol Lawrence and she plays Mama (the old lady) on many of the sketches you have seen. She was actually the youngest of the cast.
I had checked in some luggage on a US domestic flight. I later found out that I could have saved myself $70. I could have taken it as a carry-on. It’s the kind with the wheels, but it was still small enough to go in the overhead cabinet.
Hi Pam, exactly! And the good old comedy here in the UK was back then as well so looking forward to catching up on some US comedy and this show certainly captures that! :)
You guys seem to like Tim Conway, well this is NOT the show that made him famous that would be Mc Hale's Navy. He is super good in it, but the real discovery is Joe Flynn as the base commander.
The gone with the wind skit is great
I’m glad you’re enjoying my show! 😜
Hee hee you had us on the first one :) brilliant makes us smile 😊
@@BritPopsReact I am no genuis, but I am fairly certain that this actually isn't that person's show.
Another hilarious skit from the Carol Burnett Show. Tim Conway is just the best! So glad this humor has survived for a new generation to see.
Please bring on more Mama and Eunice episodes, called The Family. Like Charades, they're extreme and a hoot!

Oh wow! Imagine that! Shows sucked off, I wonder where they ended up!

Classic TV gold.💛
This is one of their all-time top five skits in my opinion!
Hey it must be a Boeing if they provide a pillow for the window

One of my favorite British shows is "Keeping Up Appearances."

Thanks Kimberly! Yes … most impressive and relatable, looking forward to more :)
Another hilarious skit from this show is JOWLS (a JAWS parody by Carol Burnett). They were very creative in reproducing this for the TV show!
Loved it. Great selection. Times have definitely changed. But classics like this are still good for a laugh. Scripts were simple but effective and a lot of credit goes to the actors who could make or break the way the audience received it. Thanks guys.- Hawk
Love Released is Phantom of the Opera

OMG, I grew up watching that show. I don't remember seeing that. Thank you.
How they kept straight faces through all of this is always beyond me. Laughing so hard I'm crying.
The best Carol Burnett skit of all time is "Went with the Wind", a "Gone with the Wind" parody.
Ah….thanks Malcom, this appears to been suggested a few times we shall note down and make sure we do that one :)
That was fun.
These are so much fun. I grew up on this. Thanks BP1 and BP2. 💚💚💚
Thanks Beth :) you just can’t beat simple humour and that’s relatable 👍🏻👍🏻
I love you too for reacting to this skit
We appreciate viewers like yourself channelthree9434 and enjoy the recommendations :) thanks
The gal introducing the sketch is Vicki Lawrence & she plays Mama. LOL Funny, since she is younger than everyone else on the show.

It’s Vicki Lawrence 😊
Ahh told it’s Vicki Lawrence but great info … youngest as well very clever :) lol
My favorite sketch is Carol Burnett's version of Gone with the Wind.

I know they charge for anything these days, the carry on is now like a paper bag size! It’s not very clear and very confusing!
There is also a no frills gas station skit
Liked planes don't go into mountains backwards!
One of the funniest skits from the classic Carol Burnett shows I’ve seen. Tim Conway a comedic genius.
Yes the more we watch these little skits the more you get to know the acting and comedic personalities… brilliant!
More family skits ;) The Carol Burnett Show - mama falls down the stairs is so good. But all of them are incredible lol
More to come!
This was hilarious. I remember watching Carol Burnett when I was a kid.

So glad you guys have found it.

ROTF😂
I grew up on the show. It was awesome then and it still awesome now.
Nice one Phil…. Nothing beats classic humour!
Get your foot off the rug!

Good info thanks Wil, yes he is very good
