- Hey, ya'll! Welcome to DAY 8 (WEEK 2!) of the BODY, MIND, SOUL: 30 DAYS OF YOGA TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE. Today's practice is a SACRAL CHAKRA practice. The Sacral Chakra is located below the navel & is responsible for sexuality, creative expression, & emotions. Many of the poses we do will open the hips to help activate this chakra. Be sure to listen to your body & modify as needed. Come out of any postures that don't feel right & take rests if you need to. My balance said "not today" during the dancer and tree poses 🤣 But I really enjoyed this flow, the hip opening did me good physically and emotionally. Can't believe we're already on week 2! 💛

Even though I woke up to no power in my house today, I made sure to get today’s practice completed this late afternoon. That was beautiful. I had some tears shedding in reclined butterfly at the end. ❤
Having a self care routine is really helping me get my life to a more grounded place.

I am feeling very thankful for myself. I missed three days so I just did four videos back to back. I haven’t done yoga for such an extended period of time before. It felt quite amazing. Each session felt deeper and more embodied than the last. This final session was very peaceful for my soul. I’ve been struggling with a blocked root chakra, anxiety, depression, ect…this yoga challenge and the other stuff I’m doing (exercise], therapy, medication), is all a part of my healing journey. Im proud of myself for trying to repair myself and extend love to myself for where I’m at.

Day 8 and we in here!!! 🙌🏽 Finished the first week 💪🏽 cheers to us and another successful week to follow! I really liked the sacral affirmations and I found out I’m more balanced on my left side then the right 😅 during the tree and dancer poses 🥰

my hips were trembling at the end of this one, in a good way. I’m feeling more acceptance and appreciation for myself. I am letting go of feelings of being not enough. This one was super yummy that after practice I did a happy shimmy and hugged myself LOL so maybe my sacral needed some love 🥰 I woke up today feeling proud to know we're now on the second week of this series!! And it's been getting a bit easier for me to do the vinyasas. So I feel like I'm regaining my strength.

such a warming flow today! almost broke a sweat lol my balance wasn’t ready but i love tree and dancer pose my back and hips feels amazing. i’ve been gassy lately and this release it all 😂❤
I am loving the challenge so far! My body has been more agile, and I've been committed to this practice with joy and ease. My mind has been clearer, even if low vibe thoughts come about, I'm able to counter or reframe them with affirmations and love 🤍 I hope everyone is well!

I'm a couple days behind but I'm following along in order as I can. I've had very long term spine issues and I've noticed my spinal flexibility and posture improve a bit, and my clarity and focus and emotional regulation have improved a bit so far. Thank you. Looking forward to continuing.

Day 8 done… I didn’t want to do it but I’m glad I did. One week down
This practice had me feeling flowyyy🌊. I begun in my head bc of a loss but ended with my spirits lifted & excited for my future. Change of attitude! 💛 Ofc I’m a beginner attempting advanced poses🤣 tht made it fun.
Challenging on the left side more than the ride side, I noticed doing this stand-up practice. Overall, these practices help me to build more enthusiasm and motivate me to keep going ✨️
