I like the x7 front face more than the 7 series. For the 7 series it really depends on the color of the car. But that interior is just absolutely insane. The interior can clearly compete with the S class, it might even be better than the S class.
I hated the looks at first but the front, especially the headlights, remind of the original M1 and now I think looks badass. Especially in this black trim.
This car reminds of what the tech - laden E23 meant to the Automotive World in 1977. I got to experience the Greatness of the E23 when BMW South Africa (Pty) Ltd delivered my late Dad's E23 in February 1980. Speaking from a position of being greatly biased towards all things BMW 7 Er, I love the design language of the G70 BMW i7 et 7 Series, because similar to the Paul Bracq designed E23 of 1977 to 1985, and the Chris Bangle designed E65 of 2001 to 2008, the G70 has character, and its own identity in the way a BMW 7 Er should, instead of adopting as Conservative an approach as the one on the E32, the F01/F02 and the G12, which in my view, beautiful as they were, tried too hard to bring the BMW 7 Er closer to the Mercedes Benz S Class, whilst still fighting to retain the classic BMW chassis dynamism. This car has certainly drawn certain ques from the E38 7 of 1994 to 2001, which is a good thing. When I saw the camouflaged test cars two years ago with this new front, I had my worries, but since the car was unveiled in April 2022, I breathed a sigh of relief, because the bold design of the fontal end sets this car apart from anything else currently on the market, and more than anything else, I actually liked what I saw. I think it's well juxtaposed and executed. For me, having lived in the Paul Bracq era, and then the Chris Bangle era, the design language of the G70 is truly a very happy medium for me. Hence, I'm going to give it a 10/10 for the interior and exterior design, and I am looking forward to ordering both the PHEV and gasoline powered M760e and the full EV i7 M70( later). I'm happy with what I've seen thus far, and thanks for a wonderful and balanced first shakedown of the 760i.
at 0:51 which shows the two tone 760, looks agressive, I love it. The body shape is strikingly similar to a RR a similarity I've not noticed since BMW bought RR Motors. I think the two tone helps, when watching from a computer screen at least, a better sense of the shape of the 760.I know this model probably shares a chassis with one of the RR models and I'm not bothered by iy, I've just never seen the BMW flagship look so similar to a RR is all I'm saying.
I bought a black 760i like 8 months ago and went on A LOT of road trips on it and I have to say, I had the best road trips ever👍, every trip is more than 1000 km and I don’t even feel tired at all🤍🤍👍, regarding little wind noise, you can go to the dealership and they will solve this little problem no issue👍
Great review ,love the unless some one cuts you off ..twice. Hilarious. I'm really loving this car especially the interior even though I'm still thinking Audi A/S8 or Genesis. Going have to mask up and go for a test ride someday. I so hate wind noise though.
BMW back in its own game: great comfort with great driving. Smack on. Hope they can pull this off with the up and coming 5 series because its becoming old
I heard that BMW made comfort the priority for this car compare to previous 7 series. How does it compare to true S class as the suspension on that is known for being super comfortable
0:54 The frontal overhang is way too long and grew by 10cm ! compared to the previous model. I don't understand why the nose had to be that big ... The view from the side is a bit deceiving because due to the angle of the camera lense the tip of the front is cut off.
I absolutely love the design, definitely giving me some cyberpunk vibes. Also really happy with the split headlights, they have them on th suv too! Maybe won’t be blinded by these cars driving down the road haha. Every new cars these past 5 years or so are blinding at night time
Great review, thanks!! Seriously looking at this vehicle to replace my 2015 MB S550 when availability improves. Don't like mandatory blackout treatment on front or side. Love the way it drives and sounds, however. If my car wasn't 8 yrs old and 80K miles wouldn't be looking, but soon time to get something newer.
You don't have to get the Mandatory black out treatment. You're right, manufacturers really just pursue it if they know their cars look bad because it really just covers things up. If they were confident, they would still keep the chrome. But hopefully in the US you can still opt for chrome garnishes

Very good review however I’m concerned with the passenger seat being all the way up for a passenger in the back that wants that feet up feature. Does the passenger seat block your passenger mirror? Otherwise perfect review I usually don’t watch the whole thing but this one I did 👍
I love the interior and I think that it’s amazing step for BMW cause the 7 series is there more luxury model, however that front is just not it im sorry the rear is fine for me so are the door handles
Flat out most luxurious looking dash buttons I ever seen. That crystal like design all around the functions within them is pure genius.
I liked how fast the auto front door closer performed. Those back door armrest touchscreens are wild.
Yea I was pleasantly surprised how quick the doors worked too
@@MilesPerHr Dumb question: What happens if the battery is dead or there is an electrical issue (*ahem BMW*)? Is there a manual release?
“Wild” as in “It’s wild how they look like a 2009 Android smartphone”
I'm worried that they might finish the battery power
still slower than manual. So pointless
8:26 Oh my God, that turning radius. It almost felt like he was turning from a mini Cooper
Looks kinda trippy
Love the I4 and IX screen but some people kinda don't like it, still looks stuning overall!
The iDrive 8 software works well, whether the screen shape is a win or not
The screen is good, but the UI is totally terrible
Thanks!
Thank you for the support!
Miles' commentary is equivalent to David Attenborough in the animal kingdom but instead in the car world. Such great choices of words!

The new 7 series looks so aggressive and at the same time so luxurious. Great job bmw!
What ? This mf thing looks like a whale. Aggressive???
You beat all other American auto reviewers for publishing the new 7 driving video
Neat!
That amount of time it took for the screens to turn on after you started it was pretty surprising for a $100k car.
This will be my dream car! Nice job Miles.
It’s a dream daily for sure!
What about a night time pov drive was looking couldn't find it, I'd love to see it, given the interior lights and the ceiling

Never been a fan of the 7series. But this is it! ✅️
I think BMWs new design language is beautiful, even up front!
I give it a 7/10.What’ve been lower but the interior gives it a boost😏
*The time will come when the 760i will have 6 cylinders, 740i - 4 cylinders, and 730i - 3 cylinder motors.*
There's a dark future ahead of us
In austria and i think generally europe you can only get the 760 als a hybrid and it only has 6 cylinders its called 760e
I saw the new 7 series for the first time sunday afternoon on 5th ave in nyc. Very nice look!
LOOK HOW THEY MASSACRED MY BOY
The 7 series is just luxurious
But one thing this video is missing
Why didn't you launch it?
Probably not allowed.
For First drives, I’m just getting initial impressions. I’ll do launch/0-60 tests when I get a vehicle loan for a week
ima get this year and model 5 years from now when its depreciated. super cool.
The California sunshine makes it the BEST Review, You. Excellent! Very interested. Brp Brp!!!

It’s absolutely stunning, It’s a game changer it’s a rolls Royce territory 👍🏼👌🏼
@@jacknice25 RR BASED the new GHOST off of this very car....so much so they even have the same headlights!

Ive been waiting for this, oh ill enjoy watching this.
I’m glad to deliver 👍
After being a rider in the 2022 S580, both in the back seat and shotgun, it looks like the 7 series is in the “I’m also there” state.
It definitely rivals the new S Class in ride quality and tech
Ima a big Mercedes guy, have had the last 3 s class models but I would get this over the new s class.. this has a presence to it an looks amazing
The 7 series BMW blew me away the last couple years.
Only things I would fix: A nicer front-end and more ambient lighting for the rear seats.
I see BMW is bringing in some of their Rolls-Royce features into the 760i

Didn't know that the previous year N63 is the same motor as the S68.
Watch from Jamaica 🇯🇲 ❤❤❤

I still prefer the the combo rounded headlight BMW but this is classy, quite luxurious and futuristic.
Супер малышка ❤спасибо инженерам из Баварии за это чудо!

How much better is the Ghost than this, Miles? Curious as to your thoughts.
as a person who likes bmw, I can't stand the new grill. To be honest the 7 series never looked really good but this new one is really bad.
