Definitely got a 6s in it with traction. Going to have to rev it out little higher in 4th for that 130. Nothing worse then being 1 or 2mph short of 130 when trying a 60-130 run😂, made that mistake multiple times. 7.2s 60-130 is the best I seen so far, boosted 3.2.
Raise limiter for sure. Gotta let it bang limiter in 4th to hit 130. Start in 3rd brake boosting. You'll get there with more seat time for sure. Sounds & looks great 👍
Holy hell this thing is fast. I picked up a base TL last year for pretty damn cheap and I’m considering doing a J35A8 swap prior to doing an exhaust setup. What are your thoughts? I’m also trying to come up with a plan for modding my brakes.
Would be a sick swap! If you want best performing all motor setup to hop right up to the J37. Base manual came with brembo so I’m guessing your auto? If so just sell and upgrade to type s you will not have a happy trans
@ With mine being my daily, here in the Midwest an auto made more sense which is why I went with it to begin with. That and the overall deal I got. I got this at 66k miles for 8k and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s one of the lower mileage TLs in my city. I love the setup and feel of the car honestly already, I’m just a bit underwhelmed by the power. My goal is to clean up the cosmetics and honestly just get a little more performance, somewhere between 320-340 crank hp. Sooo, maybe J37 plus an exhaust and brake upgrade? Not sure yet. Only concern w the J37 is I’ve heard they consume oil more than the others.

@@RevsALot yeah it should, but a aftermarket boosted car is usually quicker…in most cases anyway, Since manufacturers throw minimal boost at these things from the factory
@Ifyoutroll depends on the car, cause some are fast stock but theyre expensive. A stock Hellcat would be a good run against this TL, with the TL winning. GT500 would be more of a challenge, or some M cars.
Not too bad bruh...that was fast..I did 60mph-80mph in second with my 4G TL stock and I did it in 2 secs. Id like to see you do the same in your boosted TL just to see how my stock engine compares.
