Netflix should use this version of the intro for their stop-motion films
YESS!!! Especially since they have two coming out this year! Pinocchio and Wendell and Wild
Ohhh that would be amazing no cap
Ohmygodddd, they shoulddd
Or animated ones
@@StopMotionbyNicholas you should be cautious about these getting released as netflix just cut massive amounts of its animation staff 😬
Netflix should make this their actual intro! It adds so much more character and charm to the brand!
They’re the same thing
Well, seems they're in desperate need for that right now.
Maybe for their animated movies, especially the stop-motion kind. Maybe. 😉
🤣🔫
I feel like they should just change it up. Use this for some of them, use different variants for others (might be hard to find the budget with the state they’re at now though)
Just perfect!
Exact!!
Exactly

Since you've done Netflix you have to do the Disney+ one. This was literally incredible!
How can something be figuratively incredible?
Imagine the HBO Max one or Paramount+ or just movie intro too!
@@meowmeow9617 imagine the entire Marvel intro though
@@korgthekronan that would be cool, is there a comment with this idea?
sorry but this takes a lot of time, him will just make it if he want and almost all the time he dont respond
Those three days' work produced something great 🔥
Netflix should pay you for this awesome work!
My guy spent 3 days moving yarn. What a legend
They won’t. They don’t even want people to share passwords. Penny pinchers
Stock is down lol
Yeah, 60%, right?
Plot twist: they sue him for copyright
I love the part at the end when you talked about the "why". I've recently been working on creating new instagram filters to post every day and people ask why. Is there money in it? Maybe at some point, but for now the why is because I want to and it's a new fun way for me to create. Not everything needs to be a side hustle. You can do things because you enjoy them and I think that sometimes get's lost in our culture today. If something goes viral and you somehow make money, that's fantastic, but I think it's super important to have things you do simply for joy.
Nothing but fax
I wish more ppl could understand this. Why do I spend my spare time passionately contributing to open source projects, notifying others about bugs, trying to make the best UIs, animations and apps ever, all without expecting any money in return? Because I LOVE what I do, and the outcome is super rewarding in and of itself. Getting a $1 million instead would not yield the same satisfaction
Why do people write literal paragraphs
@@crpsss Hey, you might want to go back to 3rd grade if this amount of words on your screen is way too much to read.
Your learning a skill. I lnow of youtubers who are good with the talking content but getting the instagram, tiktok forum is not s9mething they can do with ease. Having someone manage and produce that would be game changing for them.
As another animator, I'm curious why you hot glue your stands to the floor as opposed to only sandbagging them down? You are the only person I've seen use that technique, wondering what the idea is there. Does it add a significant amount of strength more than sandbags?
Sandbags are more expensive. And heavy.
It could be a clean up issue, too. Maybe the sand is a pain and hot glue is easier
@@QueenDianaWifeOfLlry Sand bags have a handle. You just lift it up and youre done.
You can easily find where you intended to put it, if you need to place it temporarily somewhere else
@@HONYCZ Thats what the colored tape on the floor is for, to mark the positions of the legs. The hot glue has nothing to do with that.
if Netfilx ever makes another stop-motion movie/series, they should use this man's amazing work
Netflix probably wouldn’t pay him very well, I know their system pays music composers poorly due to how royalties work - maybe their system for animators is better though

I never know what to expect from you Kevin, but you never disappoint! 😍
You captured this perfectly!
Yeah
😀
He interweaved the logo and stop-motion perfectly!

This video reminded me of the art show Art Attack with Neil Buchanan. I used to watch it all the time with my siblings when we were kids. My Mom did, too. Such good nostalgia!
Oh, I remember that show. Huge work of art using things around the field
Normal people: “I just watch TV during my free time”
Kevin: “I made a yarn version of Netflix.”
I’m really impressed with the way this whole video was shot and made, let alone the final product!
TA! I love your music man. Didn’t expect to see you here
@@fabulouswaffles1342 thank you!
You're such dedicated to what you're doing, love it !
You have awesome videos!
6 likes but no replies AND a verified creator? Lemme change that.

They should totally use this for the intro of the new Pinocchio movie coming out later this year.
isn't it only for when you start Netflix up or am I stupid
@@ubahni nah it’s whenever you start up an original show or movie
Wow! Professional stop-motion animation looks awesome! When u see tv series (or movies) like Shaun the sheep you know what an incredible work there is behind the scenes. Your work is fantastic! 👍Thank you for this behind-the-scenes video and an insight into your thoughts.
*AWESOME!!* Your CTV NATIONAL NEWS segment air date Nov 4, 2022 brought me here. Keep up the great work!
This should be used for children shows and movies in Netflix, nice. All of that hard work was done correctly.
I am a software developer and when I saw the title I was expecting a different yarn... But I still like the video xD
P.S. I have no idea what was in my mind and how anyone would make the Netflix intro with a package manager. I guess I just need some time off.
We're the same lol. I didn't expect this yarn. Thought dude was going to make that intro out of some commands lol.
I love your dedication to detail!
This is fantastic for kids to watch. Your amazing Kevin. Much love from the uk 🇬🇧.
Holy crap that's pretty much an identical yarn version wtf?!
And it only just took three days?! I'm not underestimating the time and effort taken but from the end result you would have thought it'd taken longer no???
The process reminds me of how broadcasters in the Eastern Bloc during the 1980s used physical objects to do special effects on intros since they still didn't have access to 3D CGI unlike the US, Western Europe, and essentially almost everywhere else at the time. Imagine how innovative, imaginative, and mind-blowing our animations and special effects would have been these days if people knew how to animate like this ninety years ago.
Or in the West before that. I remember seeing how the animated Eurovision logo was made and it also involved, IIRC, a lot of illuminated, tensioned strings to produce ray-like effects.
That is pretty much spot-on so well done! I hope you're considering doing more of these process videos like you used to do. They're cool and I enjoy watching everything unfold and your explanations for what you're doing. I was surprised at how it's been over a year since the last one before this.
Very cool, congrats! 🧶💖
This is insane. Your work always impresses me, Kevin.
I couldnt tell which one was the actual intro until the very last frame or so when you can see that red strip is yarn textured. Its so similar otherwise.
This was amazing! I hope Netflix see this and wants to license it. Really loved the edit too.
There are so many shows on Netflix which could use this intro!
I love seeing behind the scenes stuff! What a neat idea, and excellent execution.
This was insane!!! Love the way it turned out! You could consider doing the Colombia Pictures logo screen like before the movies, but the zombieland one where she gets attacked by zombies in something like clay... would be super fun visually.
My guy where did you go
You can just see it in his eyes... He is in the zone!
I saw this in facebook and I'm glad I found the full version here
YOU UPLOADED AFTER MONTHS!!!
Great video!
You should also make the disney+ intro.
You actually did INSANE with this! the detail is incredible
4:20 - yeah, I can see it's $30 worth of equipment there too. :D Sick animation.
It been six months I’m wondering why he stop uploading
hahaha, after reading creative output, that's a plot twist!
You’re the first person ever to refer to the name of the blog, Creative Output (it’s only a few week’s old). Super cool and that means a lot!
Very impressive! Particularly how well you colour matched the yarn in the fly out part 🤩
This is hella cool! I admire your patience with this project, and I'm surprised it doesn't have a million views yet, so here's a comment for the algorithm.
Could you make more of these things?
it was all A LIE 😭 I hate the internet 😂
What?
if theres any movie about knitting, netflix should use this.
This is amazing, you’re so talented
Well…
LIAR D:
?
What the.. It looks bloody amazing! Netflix should buy this!
Little fun detail: the contrast between "epic" and "casual" in the preparation =P
kevin's humor is unhinged yet still so funny??? how does this man do this LMAO
You are my hero. That was amazing, and seeing your thought process, and how you move from room to room in your vast studio space, and how you construct and reference for your sets made it so cohesive. Thanks thanks thanks!
Netflix should hire Kevin to adapt the intro to each movie (some of them)... and to adapt the f* audio too ☺️
When my bosses say this task will take me a teeny-weenie bit of time, I will show them THIS!!!
I love that drumroll 🥁 over panic run with short steps.
This is so cool, you work hard for this and I’m happy that people noticed your short clip and than you did gain subs !
This was awesome!!! Stop motion is incredible and so time consuming; so much respect for artists like you!
This deserves more views and recognition because it's satisfyingly cool!
What you did requires a lot of skill, creativity and obviously time. 🙌🏻
This is very creative man! Good job Kevin. 👍
Great video !! And the message at the end of just doing things because you enjoy doing them is very important !! Thanks for sharing this awesome video
That actually looks really awesome
Now we need the Disney+ intro with fabric!
Came to this video from memory at 2:00am but needed to share
Every time I see the Netflix intro logo I think of this video and what an amazing edit you made with yarn!!! Great stuff! I’ll probably never forget this video!
Always inspiring man. Love these behind the scenes style videos.
Love the full behind the scenes!! Keep them coming
Amazing work, love seeing the magic behind the scenes. I've been obsessed since your work with Kubo and the Two strings
This is my favourite stop-motion on UA-cam by far. :-) Kevin Parry is a legendary animator!
THIS IS AMAZING
Yes
Your work is simply amazing! I had “wow” moments all throughout this video. The final product blew me away!
thank you, I will never ever see the netflix intro the same way as before.
This confirms why I’ve always loved stop motion animation! Thank you!
This video deserves way more than 274 thousand views
It looks amazing!! and nice to have you back here on UA-cam!!
honestly so cool and creative jeez ! Good work
I love your editing style and your amazing work, subscribing for sure!
Love this! Great work!
This was fantastic! Way to go! Thank you for sharing
That's actually insane. Keep making more amazing videos!!
MAN HAS RETURNED
INCREDIBLE AS ALWAYS
I love your works! I'm so happy I found your youtube so I can actually see how you make them
OMG THIS IS SO AMAZING!! You deserve a lot more credit
Amazing! Love it!
That is really cool! Awesome work! ✨✨
thnk u so much to share all the process behind the animation its really inspiring:)🧡
Netflix should pay for this and actually use it... It's just perfect
That’s incredible! Really well made!
This came out beautifully, great work!
I loved watching this process! Very cool stuff 😎
Phenomenal work!!! Totally need this on endless loop.
My Filipino eyes were immediately attracted to the "yarn" in the thumbnail
That's so amazing how similar that looks. Good job
Now that... is talent.
I’d love to see you animate with LEGO minifigures. I know u have done LEGO animation before, but if you made a stop motion LEGO movie with mini figs, that would be awesome! Spiderman would be really cool! I do LEGO stop motions on my channel- would love to see what you can do!
3:35 I think that's called lineboil in digital animation, I don't know the stop motion equivalent though
I did not expected that it will became sooo gooood....
Amazing work.... 👍🤩
I love this, anything arts and crafts is so much fun and it looked so good!!
Wow wow! Your creativity and skill is mind blowing 🤯
